I've seen this place parked with outside RT Rogers Brewery in Sierra Madre. We finally decided to give it a try. We ordered the 3 meat plate (chicken, ribs and brisket) with 2 sides (coleslaw and mac & cheese) for takeout. Honestly, everything here was delicious. I specially loved the chicken which was tender and the brisket which was flavorful and fatty. The ribs however were a bit tough so will pass on that one next time. All the sides were great. I'm giving 5 stars based on customer service alone! The food was good too but service... wow! I had a taste for BBQ and saw that this place had great reviews on Yelp so I decided to try it out. When I got to the location I realize it was a good truck. There was plenty of street parking available. There was a table set up next to the truck to eat and a menu outside so you could see what they were servicing for the day. There was only one gentleman working the truck and he immediately could tell it was my first time there so he took his time and offered suggestions. I ended up getting the brisket plate with baked beans as a side. I ordered potato salad too. When he handed me my food he said he added some coleslaw and pickles for me so that I could get the "full experience" SO NICE OF HIM! The brisket was tender and then beans were seasoned very well. Brisket is super soft not dry at all. In my opinion a Legit barbecue spot offers brisket on their menu. I also had there wings which were great. Looking forward to trying their ribs and chicken next. The sandwich was great, texture and quality up to par, I just had to put more bbq sauce in the burger but overall very good. The ribs were tender and easily came off the bone, I just added more bbq sauce as well since I like them a little more on the wet side. Korean bbq wings were delicious, they were not what I had expected but good solid flavor not too sweet, which is what I loved. Holy macaroni! I just had the best brisket I've ever had, and it was wrapped in an amazingly flavorful sandwich. Their brisket, hot link sandwich was everything you'd want in a sandwich. After placing my order, drinking the water he gave me, I was watching his assistant pouring what I thought was barbecue sauce into a container and remembered my wife asking me for a little extra. Tried Barbecue 43 for the first time today it was super good ! My girlfriend and I got the brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich both which were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing . We got the spicy garlic fries which were good and actually spicy ! The person taking our order was super nice and accommodating to my picky order .
