We stopped here after a stay at the triple R campground. The service was great. Everyone was super friendly. It doesn't look Like much from the outside, but there is plenty of seating. I wasn't wowed by anything, but I wasn't expecting to be. I got a single blueberry pancake for $4.95 and they serve you real maple syrup so much better than other places that give you the cheap stuff. If you are hungry and aren't looking for anything fancy, just normal diner food, stop by and give it a try.

Duff's Famous Wings - Happiness in a Bowl!

We were in Buffalo to go to the AKG museum. We were inside for better than 3 hours and were hungry…read more Buffalo....Duff's wings. The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. We will definitely be back, more flavors to try and locations to enjoy.

I came here again by myself while visiting a friend in town and was not disappointed. I turned into…read morea little piggy and ordered their Beef-on-Weck & Wing lunch special, with an extra side of fries. So much food, but so good. The sandwich was great and really salty (per the custom), but the bread became soggy pretty quick. I would dip it in the jus and try to bite it but the meat just couldn't be bit through and no matter how hard I tried it just made a sloppy mess. That was disappointing. The wings were ordered Medium Hot which they warn you is "Very Hot"... but it isn't. They were good, but next time I will order Hot because there was little to no burn. The fries were the frozen variety but nice, skinny and crispy. I liked dipping them in the leftover wing sauce. Next time, I will skip the sandwich and just get wings and fries. Hopefully it won't take me 5 years to come back.

By contrast, Marco's has excellent customer service, but I gave it 3 rather than 4 stars due to a clear and consistent obvious lack of consistency. I generally order stromboli from them, but it's really hit or miss depending on the day. Some days the stromboli is big and golden brown and amazing. I'd give it 5 stars. Other days it's tiny, completely undercooked, and even missing ingredients. I'd give it 1 star. If they could make the 5-star stromboli consistently, my rating would be 4 or even 5 stars. The pizza is decent but the chicken wings consistently disappoint. I was in there recently and a sign said the wings were so small that they'd offer more than usual to make up the difference. Again, I'd much rather have consistency. Eat here on occasion because they can't be consistent, but I do love a good stromboli. Wish they could get it right

The aroma of freshly baked pizza was so enticing, and drew us up to the counter without hesitation. The kids ordered the standard KID Meals: fingers and fries and a kid's personal pan pizza. Both come with a juice box. Our smaller boy, aka the "picky one" began devouring the fingers like nobody's business. I was glad to see that they were "real" chicken cutlets, not reformed chopped chicken product. Ok, so it was the best thing he ever ate! Our bigger boy eats pizza every chance he gets, as his mom works at a pizza shop in another town. He eagerly expressed approval of Marco's sauce and cheese! Life is good! I had the chicken souvlaki salad with a garlic breadstick. Very delicious and a great bargain at only $8.99! I strongly suggest that you put Marco's on your bucket list!

Finding any GF options when visiting small towns can be a challenge so I'm really thankful to have found Finnerty's! We ordered: - Jalapeño Poppers (for my gluten-consuming husband) - Stuffed Banana Peppers (Gluten Free) - Chicken Wings ordered well done with hot sauce (Gluten Free) - Smash Burger on Gluten Free Sesame Bun & Chips - Hamburg Carrot Cake Brown Ale (for my Gluten-consuming husband) There were only 3 Jalapeño Popper left so our server didn't charge us for them. They were your run-of-the-mill frozen poppers; nothing special. The Stuffed Banana Peppers were a special for the day and they were pretty delicious. They were cheesy, stuffed with sausage and topped with a delicious tomato red sauce. The Chicken Wings were well done, as we requested but were average which was a surprise considering all of the claims to be award winning. The Gluten Free Sesame Bun was one of the best GF buns I've had but the burger patties were average. The meat didn't seem like it was seasoned but the cheese and grilled onions helped add some flavor. Not worth $15.95, in my opinion especially because you have to pay $1.50 each for any additional toppings and it only comes with generic potato chips. The Hamburg Carrot Cake Brown Ale was listed on the draft beer list but was served in a can. Our server was attentive and had a kind/sweet personality. Here's a few highlights about the space: - Pool Table - Golden Tee Golf Video Game - Hockey Foosball Table Game - Old Arcade Video Game - 8+ TVs; I believe they're usually tuned into sports. - Music was really loud; it was somewhat difficult to hear our server. Overall, I would come here again when visiting Ellicottville and try other menu items - like the Gluten Free Pizza and whatever their daily special happens to be.
