I picked up 2 of the detroit style pizzas, one with pepperoni and other had sausage and peppers and both were great. i have 6 people in my household, my wife and i and 4 kids. Every single person liked the pizza which is rare. Normally someone complains or doesnt like the meal we get or have. But My 7 year said "it takes alot to impress me, but this pizza impresses me" and he ate all of the crust, which he normally doesnt. So we will be ordering our pizza at bar sera on a weekly basis, since everyone likes it. read more

We've been blown away by Cerdo since it opened, and have not found anything to diminish that in the many meals we've experienced since. The food is fabulous. The flatbreads, the octopus, the wild boar burgers, the lamb meatballs etc., just keep us coming back. The wine selection is great as well for a small neighborhood restaurant! The service is really great as well. The servers and management have gone out of there way to make sure we've been happy with our meals. One experience really stands out; We had some impromptu company one evening and decided to call in a take out order. One of our guests has some IBD issues and wanted to have the Wild boar burger I'd been raving about. We asked them if they could make the burger on on non-seeded bun if possible. The manger called us a few minutes later to ask if they could have the order ready 10 minutes later as they were sending one of their employees over to one of their other restaurants to get a roll for that burger. Cerdo is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at. The ambience, the food, the service- everything is wonderful! They have many small plates to choose from, including a list of meats and cheeses to create a beautiful charcuterie board. My personal favorite is the grilled manouri cheese. It comes on a crostini and is topped with caramelized plums- absolutely amazing. Their flatbreads are also great for sharing and a good way to start the meal. The entrees are all delicious. There are options on the menu to please anyone, with an extensive drink menu as well. Not only wonderful food and a beautiful place to be, but the staff are all so friendly and inviting. I had such a wonderful experience at Cerdo! Our server was friendly and attentive and extremely helpful with navigating the unique menu! We ordered a lot do food to share and everything we ordered was delicious. The grilled manuri cheese was perfection, the 3 meat board was fantastic, the mussels were delicious and the steak was perfectly cooked. We shared the bacon slab flatbread and brought half home. Had the pleasure of going this past weekend. This place is a breath of fresh air! Brian Pieri and Company have done it again. Amazing wine list and great menu. We had the bacon slab flatbread, carrot and chickpea salad and a cheese plate. Everything was wonderful. Already looking forward to going back to try different items. Finally made it over to Cerdo for lunch today. The bar and dining area look great. The tomato bread was very reminiscent of what we had in the south of Spain with just a hint more garlic which was appreciated. The chorizo flatbread was amazing, fantastic meats and cheeses well-prepared all washed down by a couple of delightfully boozy Piyaal Belgian IPAs. What a pleasant surprise! We met friends for dinner here and asked to sit outdoors since the restaurant was quite noisy. The patio was lovely and quiet, and the food was outstanding. We each shared the grilled romaine salad. The panella croutons just melted in your mouth, and the grill left the romaine with a delicious smoky taste. We also loved the diver scallops especially with the hint of blood orange. Other dishes we'd recommend were the wild boar burger which was thick and juicy and the seafood pasta. The butchers ragu was also a hit. For dessert, we shared the fried brioche with a goat cheese sorbet which was crispy yet moist at the same time. The fried churros, on the other hand, were plain even with the chocolate sauce on the side. Additionally, our server couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Our only complaint was that we didn't seem to be a priority to the bartender who took a very long time with our drinks. read more

Best addition to conshy since Bar Lucca! Visited Cerdo last week with a group of co-workers, and everything was topnotch. Ambience is wonderful, love the vibe you feel as soon as you walk in the door. Staff and servers were very knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. My group ordered around 8-12 items for the table and dug right in! We loved everything we had, especially the wild board ribs, along with the octopus. They have prosecco on draft, which I have never seen before and was so delicious. We can not wait for our next visit, see you soon Cerdo! read more

We went to this place the first week it opened. We were very excited to try this restaurant as Bar Lucca is one of our favorite places to go. I'm glad to report that the service, ambiance, and food were spot on - which is impressive since I think there is normally a learning curve in service when a restaurant first opens. The tuna crudo was especially good - the fish was incredibly fresh and thinly sliced (so texture and size were perfect). I ordered the sardines for my entree which come whole with bones, head and all. I grew up eating whole fish so the bones and preparation didn't faze me. Another great dinner at Cerdo. This one turned out extra special because we had a slight problem with one of our small plate dishes and had to send it back to the kitchen. I'm always uncomfortable doing this, but the entire staff and especially our unbelievable server Marisa took such great care of us. Everything turned out perfect and we had a great meal and a few drinks to take the edge off. To Top at all I left my credit card back at the restaurant but Marisa found my phone number using my reservation called me on my cell and I was able to come back in five minutes and get it save me a lot of time today. Think it was an off night (Tuesday) ... dishes tasted like nothing. Lack luster, oily, bland. Under developed flavor. 2 dishes of Gummy and partly soggy octopus, oily sauce, watered down (not even salt or pepper to season it before leaving the kitchen), trout atop a very bitter/sour "tomato vinaigrette", and a small, dried out boar shank in a watery soupy mess with almost raw potatoes. Yikes. Shank- especially wild game- calls for a well developed thicker sauce or gravy. No knife should be needed (this shank had to be sawed with a butter knife). A shame... menu looks fantastic on paper. Not executed well to say the very least. Hope this place doesn't turn out to be an inconsistent hit or miss. read more

The service was horrible for a non fully booked restaurant on a Saturday night, we had three appetizers cheese trío good charcuterie plate was ok the octopus was terrible under seasoned, my friend order the spatial fish with it was terrible. Cerdo is a great spot! A few months ago I bought tickets to their pasta and pizza dough making class. The pricing was great and they kept your glasses and plates full as you learned the chef's ways. This past weekend I finally went back for a sit down dinner. Everything was delicious! We had four great appetizers to start (cheese board, octopus, chickpea panella, and lamb meatballs), the appetizers came out as they were ready like we asked! I had the pesto crab pasta and another couple split the paella (there was plenty for two), both great choices! We also got a few desserts, the fried churros and gelato was to die for! They threw on a second gelato and limo cello for the table, on the house. The waitress was super friendly and overall had a great experience! We will be back! read more

Went here last night with 3 others. The service was on the slower side, generally friendly, but could've been more engaged for the price you're paying for a meal here. We tried the chick pea panella which was ok, Jamon croquettes which were pretty good and pick-3 off there meat/cheese board...had 3 meats, 1 of which was disgusting, the other 2 were good...spread also included bread, jam, dates, olives and mustard. For dinner we had boar burger which was ok (I only ate 1/4 of the burger), mushroom flatbread had a funny taste, boar ribs which were ok but a little dry, and pork loin- the only thing that was delicious! The drinks were decent. The atmosphere was very nice, but food not worth coming back for. I don't believe the waiter asked us how our food was..maybe afraid of the response? I'm not sure how much the total bill was but my husband and I paid for our portion which was over $100. I can think of many other places I'd rather eat for this price. read more

Decor is great. Menu very interesting. The dishes were just okay - my overall experience was tainted by some over-the-hill salami on our salad. The biggest problem though is the fly infestation. There were over a dozen flies in the restaurant and they were swarming in the way they do when they were hatched together. So there are likely maggots somewhere. Yuck. read more
