I have been in Seville for two weeks. I eat vegetarian with a whole foods slant. Tapas were not really "working" for me until we wandered into this place. Very no frills, right next to two popular touristy tapas places. I was there with two meat eaters and a vegetarian. Everything we ordered was delicious, well prepared, and fresh. The waiter was extremely charming and amicable. I ordered the salmorejo without ham, and he very kindly thought to check with me as he set the bowl in front of me, whether the chopped eggs on it were in my diet style. Thoughtful! I loved the salmorejo.
The spinach croquettes were surprisingly delicious and wholesome for a fried thing. Best of both worlds. My son enjoyed his blue cheese/sausage croquettes. He had a chicken rice curry that he and his friend said was tasty, and the salad with goat cheese tapa was fresh with a nice light dressing. Great prices, mellow friendly ambience.
