Within a few minutes our waitress came to take our order and answer questions. The waitress was really nice and helpful. We just stopped by for drinks today and no food. We ordered a Bacardi and Coke, Old Fashioned, and a cocktail called Heart Beatz. The Bacardi and Old Fashioned tasted normal. The Heart Beatz was a very unique tasting drink, it wasn't a strong drink nor was it weak. It had a very pleasant taste of pomegranate as well, I could've drank these all night long. Overall, the atmosphere was nice with the live music, the decor fun, service wonderful, and drinks delicious. The drink prices are on the expensive side but everything else was perfect.

You can also order some light bites and entrées from the restaurant pecan. We did order the pork belly Al Pastor and it was phenomenal.

Back for a birthday brunch. It is really a nice convenient venue for a gathering or celebration…read more The area offers a car garage very close by. There is always plenty of parking available. I made a reservation in advance. We were seating right away. The decor is fun and upscale. We opted to order several appetizer to share. Started with a zero violet 75, sparkling sangria and a no kids tuesdays. All drinks were great and perfect for brunch. We then shared a Parm to Table Experience cart, a Crab Dip, a Beet & Goat salad, the Chicken Tostones and the Burger Sliders. I was pleasantly surprise by the Parm Cart. It's a sharable portion of truffle fettuccine alfredo prepared in a permesan wheel. Fun for the celebration and tasted delicious. Our waitress, Jordyn T., was polite, attentive and offered great dish suggestions. We loved everything she recommended. I've had a great experience every time I've been here. I will make a bigger effort to return more often.

It's such a gorgeous spot in Lake Nona and the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion! We had a group of us celebrating a birthday, and every single dish we tried was delicious. The lamb sliders were incredible, the corn fritters were SO good, and the beet salad was fantastic. We also tried the tableside Alfredo, where they prepare it in a Parmesan wheel, and it was absolutely delicious! The lamb chops were another highlight. Everything we ordered was amazing, and everyone in our group loved their meals. On top of the incredible food, the service was wonderful. The staff was so nice and welcoming, which made the entire experience even better. Chroma is definitely one of my favorite spots in the Lake Nona area. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, going out for a nice dinner, or just looking for a great restaurant with amazing food and a beautiful atmosphere, I highly recommend it!

This is a review for the Chef's Counter experience at Nami. While the restaurant itself is…read moreextraordinarily beautiful, the intimacy of the Chef's Counter is a level above. The intimacy isn't just all about size; it's about the one-on-one connection with Executive Chef Jason Beliveau. I've been to many omakase experiences, but I've never had one where the chef knew everyone's name before he even arrived on stage, and that one-to-one connection continued throughout the dinner. What a dinner it was: 21 courses of meticulously assembled food presented with clear intent, where every ingredient was there for a reason. There wasn't a single miss in the entire sequence, and the pacing and camaraderie were phenomenal. Well, I could describe the courses one by one, but I'll let the menu and the photos do the work, because I'm sure that Chef Justin's creativity will have made any descriptions I could provide obsolete by your visit. This is definitely an omakase, but that is not to say it is Japanese. There are influences from all over the world. Just put yourself in Chef's hands, knowing you're in for an extraordinary experience, undoubtedly the finest dining experience in Orlando. The meal also includes a round of outstanding sake and a spectacularly created cocktail (think LN2). In addition, an extensive wine list and thoughtful availability of wine by the glass or cocktails mean that you'll have plenty to accompany that wonderful food. Equally flawless service is personable while remaining unobtrusive. If you're looking for the best Orlando has to offer, whether you're a resident or a visitor, this is the place to encounter it. Note that the restaurant is not entered from the hotel lobby. There's an exterior door on the west side of the Wave Hotel, and valet is available there, or self-parking is right across the street.

Robata Grill Highlights: Cooked over binchotan charcoal, the skewers and proteins take on an incredible, smoky depth. Don't miss their wagyu or seafood options--the char is absolute perfection. Wagyu Selections: If you want to indulge, their A5 Wagyu preparations are mind-blowing, offering a buttery richness that lingers in the best way possible. The Cocktail Program & Service The bar program at Nami is just as thoughtful as the kitchen. Their mixologists are true artists, crafting Japanese-inspired cocktails featuring artisanal sakes, rare Japanese whiskies, botanical gins, and house-made infusions that complement the menu's complex flavor profiles. The service is the definition of white-glove hospitality. The staff is deeply knowledgeable, guiding you through the menu with genuine passion, ensuring your wine or sake pairings are spot-on, and maintaining a flawless pace throughout your meal. Elite Pro-Tips for Your Visit: Reservations are Essential: This is one of the hardest and most sought-after tables to secure in Orlando. Watching the master chefs craft each piece up close elevates the entire evening into an immersive experience. Dress to Impress: The crowd is stylish and vibrant. Lean into the upscale vibe--you'll want to look the part for this venue! Final Verdict: 10/10. Nami is a crown jewel in Orlando's dining scene, delivering flawless execution, incredible energy, and unforgettable flavors. I came back to canvas with moderate expectations because I didn't particularly enjoy my experience…read morethe last time I was here, this time it was for magical dining. The wait staff was way more attentive this time, filling my water every moment it was even half empty. They walked us through any items that we had questions about and was very thorough in their explanation in case there were ingredients that we might've not enjoyed. As part of my magical dining experience, I got the calamari, the meatloaf, and the bread pudding, ALL of which were fantastic. The calamari came crispy and stayed that way even though we sat outside in the humidity. It was dressed in a sweet sour spicy sauce - this was the standout appetizer of the 3 that we ordered. The calamari came with spicy chilis that the waitress asked if I wanted on the side minding my spice tolerance, I asked for it to be as the chef prepares it which is right on top, I should've asked for it on the side because it was very spicy. Fortunately, the spice does not permeate through the sauce and I was able to pick around the chilies. The meatloaf was ok but I can't really complain about a dish that is boring to begin with. Everything was good but nothing innovative or interesting. Very hearty and a lot of food, but if this dish was a paint color, it would be agreeable-gray - a crowd pleaser, filling, and no fuss. I will preface the dessert with the fact that I love bread pudding, i compare all bread puddings to Ohana's at Disney's Polynesian resort, and this definitely met or exceeded that bar. The portion was perfectly served in a mini cocotte, the bread was toasted on the top, gooey on the inside, full butterscotch flavors throughout, it was heavenly as we watched the sun set behind of the beautiful lake where the restaurant sits. The food here has definitely upgraded but my main complain that I had before was the attentiveness of the waitstaff and they turned that completely around. A great place to check out that I will return to many times.

We visited Canvas Restaurant & Market for Magical Dining and it was definitely a good choice!…read more We started with the Crispy Point Judith Calamari and Spinach & Artichoke Dip, and both were delicious. For our entrées, we had Joe's Mac & Five Cheese with grilled chicken and the Braised Short Rib Meatloaf. That mac & cheese was rich, cheesy and absolutely NOT interested in being a side dish. And the short rib meatloaf with the mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy was great. Then came dessert because apparently we still had room. The Bread & Butter Pudding and Nutella Donuts were the perfect ending. We also tried the Blood Orange Cosmo and Nona Sunset, and both drinks were really good. But I HAVE to shout out our server, Samuel. He was PHENOMENAL! Attentive, personable, knowledgeable and just genuinely added to the entire experience. Great service can take a good dinner to another level, and Samuel absolutely did that. Everything we tried was awesome, the portions were generous, and Magical Dining was a great way to experience the menu. 10/10; good food, good drinks, great service and the restaurant was nice and quiet.

My Chipotle Griddled Cheese looked very appetizing, loaded with onions and slathered with sweet, smokey, tangy sauce. It was yummy, but the chicken texture was fibrous/stringy. Didn't keep me from devouring it, though. The fries were perfectly crisp and well-seasoned. The bartenders were friendly, but the regulars present seemed to get a higher level of attention and care. The only issue was that they use to make hand cut fries and now you can tell they use frozen. Also the ranch was homemade and now it's from a bottle but other than that the meal was good.
