I went with my family who is not into that concept, and so I had to choose just one dish that I would not be sharing, as no one else wanted to share theirs either. Some of the dishes were quite small, but mine was not! I ordered the octopus which was cooked to perfection and had a mix of potatoes and greens underneath. Would definitely order this again! It was one of the best octopus dishes I've ever had. The one thing we did share was the croquettes. They were delightful, but kind of expensive as they were 1.70Euros each and were literally one bite, but a very flavorful bite at that. I also had a few glasses of their summer sangria which I rather enjoyed. I would return here when in Cascais again, but maybe with a different group of people so that we can treat it as tapas as it should be instead of individual dishes. My partner enjoyed the vegetables that accompanied his meal, but he found the sea bass somewhat underwhelming and not particularly memorable. For two people, including food and drinks, our bill came to about €89, which I felt was a moderate price for Lisbon. While the food experience wasn't the strongest part of our visit, Peixola is still a great place to relax, enjoy a drink, listen to good music, and spend time with friends or a partner. For us 6 people, we ordered two steaks from the grill plus the Bife Olivier (OMG the Olivier sauce was the best! We dipped everything in it!). All the meat were cooked perfectly as we asked for and not salted. They come with salt and sauce on the side so if you have someone watching their salt intake, it will be perfect. The meat without any seasoning was still amazing! We did one appetizer which was the octopus. Seafood in Lisbon has been amazing and the octopus here too was very soft and well seasoned.
