Such a cute shop in the heart of downtown! A huge selection of locally crafted teas, mugs, etc. there are boxes of loose tea and bagged tea in various sizes. I opted for a sampler of 4 types of teas for my visit. I've only had the New England Maple so far and it's delicious!

It's cute little shops like this that stop me in my tracks. Who needs another t-shirt shop in Bar Harbor? I got a small box of the Maine Wild Blueberry Black Tea. I didn't want to write a review until I've had a chance to seep a cup. I just called it quits after work and am now sipping this delicious blend. It's delicious! I taste the blueberries and I love fruity teas. This also came in green tea but I like a little more caffeine in my teas because I'm not a coffee drinker but still want the caffeine. I'm really enjoying this tea and now I'm wishing I had bought a larger supply. But they do ship so that's a possibility.

Bar Harbor Tea Company was more a shop than a cafe. Only their most popular teas are sold individually. They did have one tea available for sampling and a honey. That did it for my companion, as she probably wouldn't have bought that jar of raw honey if they hadn't let her have that taste. I was looking forward to trying either their blueberry iced tea or chocolate chai, both of which were not available by the cup that day, so I was a bit disappointed, and thus the 3 star rating.

Stumbled upon this shop while I was roaming through bar harbor. They've got a variety of nice teas but the ones you really want are the blueberry teas, since that's what Maine is known for! They also sell tea cups and other accessories needed to enhance your drinking experience. Unfortunately they ran out of the 1oz ($8) pack of the blueberry herbal tea I wanted. If this happens to you, go next door to the other souvenir stores and I guarantee they'll be selling the exact product of tea you want at maybe a lower price!

My mom and I are HUGE tea fans. We stopped in this shop while wondering around Bar Harbor. They have tons of different types and flavors of tea packaged in really cute tins. I love the little magnetic tins filled with the tea above each variety that you can pull off the magnet, open, and smell. What a clever marketing tool. The store is very bright and inviting, and so was the girl working. My mom stocked up on a bunch of different teas for Christmas gifts, but I was too cheap, the tea is a little on the pricey side.

Wonderful selection of loose leaf teas. And just beautiful none China tea cups and mugs, both Bar Harbor themed, and just beautiful ones.

If nothing else, go in just for the good scents of the different kinds of tea. Cute packaging and little odds and ends for tea.

FANTASTIC! FANTASTIC! FAAAANTASTIC! little bakery in Bar Harbor!…read more While I was on holiday in Maine I stopped in wherever to get my usual...I plain bagel, with butter..and a bottle of orange juice. Some places were good, some...not so much. I mean, how can a plain bagel with butter...be bad? Well, very easily lol. Went to a place in New Hampshire and it was the worst bagel I had ever had. So when I was in Bar Harbor, I had gone to a few places every morning and none of them were as great as this place. It's super close to downtown and all the tourist shops. So I just figured....expensive. Not at all. The bagel was fantastic! they toasted it just right and didn't drown it in butter like so many other places had on that trip. AND! the bagel was just so damn tasty. I like me some bagels lol The staff was so friendly. Just a happy place. The restaurant/bakery itself is so homey. It's very small...so if you wanna get there in the morning like so many do...go as early as you can if you wanna sit down. It's very comfortable in there. It's like a cute little cottage and you just kind of expect to see your adorable little grandma come out with the most amazing breakfast ever with her acting all sweet and grandma-like lol. I only wish I had discovered this place the first day we had gotten there. I would have been a regular for sure. What a pleasant little spot. Seriously, I just loved it and highly recommend anyone and everyone go here for their breakfast. They also have lots of like cookies and shit. I was so proud of myself...I held back and didn't get any even though I could have easily bought one of everything lol. So if you are in the Bar Harbor area and want a nice little spot to go for breakfast...and you see this review...go here! You will love it! If you hate it...you know where to find me....on Yelp lol. I guarantee you will love it tho. If you don't...Ill buy you a cookie to make you happy because obviously you're miserable if you find something wrong with this adorable little bakery :) Thanks so much for reading, Yelpers! Cheers!

Visiting family in the area this seemed to be the best option for coffee and a breakfast sandwich…read morethat was open. We ordered ahead online and everything was already waiting for us when we arrived. Was perfect considering the beautiful weather and how busy they were. It had a rustic feel overall with lots of seating both inside and out. They have a little free library as well. My wife and I each got a create your own breakfast sandwich. I appreciated the amount of options they had including even two sausage patties. I ended up going with a croissant double sausage patties, pepper jack cheese and tomatoes. My wife got a bagel sausage egg and cheese with spinach. Good sized and value for the price. Although, speaking of prices I did have a local family member tell me they raise prices during busy tourist season. Drink wise I got their signature. Choco-latte and my wife got their honey lavender latte seasonal special. Both were well made and full of flavor. Would definitely frequently come here if I were nearby for a morning coffee! Due to ordering online I can't speak to the service fully but we did not have any issues with our food and drink and it was made quickly! Check them out if you want coffee or a breakfast sandwich. Will need to return to try their lunch tacos!

The coffee and bagels are also great. We tried the choco-latte, Maine maple, cafe de Oma, and pumpkin spice latte and enjoyed each one! Cons: sometimes friendly service, sometimes not so friendly service The maple oat latte was extremely sweet, much sweeter than the other drinks that we tried

Lompoc is one of the most vegetarian friendly dinner spots in Bar Harbor…read more They don't take reservations and offer three seating arrangements: the patio, the bar, and a small inside area with four or so tables. I would have liked to sit outside on their cute patio, but it was full and the hostess said it would be a long wait, so we decided to eat inside. At first she directed us to a table in the bar but realized it was very loud (music and patrons) so offered to seat us in the other inside section. We had a view of a bocce match and the patio--definitely better than the bar, but not as nice as the patio. They were playing classic rock and the people at the table next to us asked to turn it down, and they were accommodated, which made for a nicer experience for us as well. The falafel wrap and Banh Mi (v) were very good and the chips can be substituted for a house salad or fries, which we did. The dressing was light and I enjoyed it. The highlight of the experience at Lompoc was dessert. Although there was nothing vegan on the dessert menu, our server suggested an "off the menu" rhubarb raspberry sorbet, which was excellent! And doesn't it enhance the experience when you feel like they're letting you in on something special?! I'd definitely return and try to get there early (4:30) to be able to sit outside.

The staff is always exceptionally kind and forthcoming with their opinions on the food which makes it known they genuinely enjoy it too. The last time I was here I got the bang bang chicken and was able to even get the spicy sauce in the side so I could control my spice level. The true winner for the night was a chocolate carrot cake from a local bakery in town. It was decadent yet well balanced and a hefty portion that I would have regretted if I finished entirely. This place has a unique vibe compared to all the other spots in Bar Harbor and has something for everyone. Do not miss this place when in town.
