I never had too many complaints about their beer other than discontinuing a favorite or two over the years so for this review it was time to get a refresher and have one of their beers again. I got a New Belgium classic which is their Fat Tire which is a blonde golden ale. Flavor highlights in this particular beer are malty, sweet and hoppy. All very well balanced. The beer is smooth and light bodied. So you can have more than one with relative ease as it goes down easy. Nice location for the traveler whether they be weary or not to sit down and have a meal and some cold, refreshing beverages.

The fries looked good, but unfortunately, they were soggy. The mac and cheese was decent, though nothing especially memorable. Our server was friendly and checked in on us periodically. I think the reason I keep coming back is that the restaurant does not feel cramped. The tables are not packed on top of each other, and after spending a couple of hours on a crowded plane, I appreciate being able to sit down and eat without feeling like I am fighting for space.

When we asked if we could order it ahead of time and receive it at 11, she snapped, "NO, we can't even ring it in until 11," and then told us to wait outside. We complied initially, then sat quietly at an empty table near the hostess stand, completely out of the way. Shortly after, my friend informed us that the manager had approved placing the poke bowl order before 11. We paid, tipped, and sat back down briefly while waiting for the food. Within two minutes, the same bartender aggressively approached us and yelled for us to leave and wait outside. When my boyfriend calmly explained that we were simply waiting for food we had already paid for, she responded, "I don't care, you can go wait outside," and essentially kicked us out of the restaurant. This happened despite us being seated out of the way and not disrupting service, and in a high-traffic airport area where her reaction caused more disruption than our presence ever did. To make the interaction even stranger, after we waited outside, a male bartender brought us our food, handed it to us, and said "peace out" in a sarcastic and dismissive tone. This was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional food service experiences I've ever had. I've worked in the food industry for 12 years and attended culinary school, so I understand pressure and policy. This was not that. I got their voodoo ranger which I'm no stranger to and it was just cool to get it from the source itself. I also got the chicken tacos which I forgot to get a picture of but they were okay. They came with fries as a side and those were pretty plane in seasonings. The bartender was awesome and on top of it especially for running the whole bar herself at the time. Really cool laid back restaurant/bar and basically what you'd expect for an airport bar. Will be checking it out again!
