Decent spot to stop when traveling but I'm not excited about it given a few consistent drawbacks. There's now always a wait which takes away from the experience too. The location isn't ideal in terminal C vs main terminal, the bar lines are consistently long and are slow to move. The food selection is hit or miss, sometimes its great other times its pretty meh. Nice views overlooking the terminal and outside.
Is it still crowded, yes! Do they try to minimize the amount of people there, to some degree yes. The food is pretty good, definitely more robust options than the "snacks" offered at most lounges. They also have two bars and plenty of coffee! They try to keep it pretty clean with lots of staff. Overall plenty of seating for eating and relaxing.
Worth the visit if you have a layover in DEN and an Amex card that gets you in. Big space with plenty of seating variety, bar height, dining tables, couches, and lounge chairs, so you can find something whether you want to work or just zone out before your flight. Two buffet setups, including a made-to-order station, and the options skew healthy without being boring. Coffee stations, sparkling water, and yes, a Coke Zero dispenser, which sounds small but matters when every other lounge only has regular Coke. Bartenders take their time and actually talk to you instead of slinging drinks like they're punching a clock. Showers are a real perk if you're coming off a redeye, but get on the list early or grab a staff member when you walk in. The toiletries are high-end and smell great. Buffet servers and front desk staff were friendly every interaction. One real gripe: not enough power outlets. Plenty of tables have zero chargers nearby, and when the lounge fills up you end up hunting for a spot. Bring a portable battery if you're depending on a charge before boarding. Go for the food and showers, stay for the bartender pace.
Guest Experience Feedback -- Denver Centurion Lounge, Concourse C I would like to share feedback about an experience my sister and I had at the bar in the Centurion Lounge at Denver International Airport. My intention is not retaliation or revenge. I am sharing this because I believe American Express has a responsibility to ensure that every Card Member is treated with dignity, consistency, and respect. My experience with the bar attendant, Lindsay, was particularly concerning. I felt that I was treated differently and unfairly in a manner that appeared to be related to my accent, language, or background. I am an American citizen who was born in Europe, and I am proud to be an American. Because of this experience, I was left with the impression that I may have been subjected to linguistic and/or racial discrimination. I recognize that I cannot know another person's intent, but the way the interaction occurred made me feel singled out and unwelcome. During our visit, my sister and I were apparently restricted to a very limited number of drinks over a period of hours, without what I understood to be a clear or consistently communicated explanation. Later, after a male bartender, Jessie, served me during the last call before the bar closed, Lindsay followed me to my table and removed the drink that I had in my possession while I was tasteful savoring every drop of the exquisite ambiance in my slow nocturnal travel after a long day driving and morning flight with consecutive another overnight flight. I found this interaction humiliating and inappropriate. I want to make an important distinction: Jessie provided excellent service. He was professional, courteous, and respectful. In my opinion, Jessie is a top-of-the-line bartender and deserves recognition for his professionalism and bartending skills. His service demonstrated exactly the type of hospitality I would expect from an American Express Centurion Lounge. After I raised the issue with Jessie and with the lounge supervisor just asking what is her name due to missing name tag, Lindsay subsequently came to my table and handed me a piece of paper apparently intended to make sure I knew how to spell her name correctly. Regardless of her intention, the way this was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational and added to an already uncomfortable experience. My recommendation to American Express I am not asking for revenge or punishment. I would instead encourage American Express to review this interaction and consider additional training for lounge staff regarding: Consistent and transparent communication of alcohol-service policies. Equal treatment of guests regardless of accent, nationality, ethnicity, or language. Appropriate ways to address a guest when service is being restricted or a drink needs to be removed. De-escalation and respectful communication when a guest raises a service concern. Maintaining the high level of professionalism demonstrated by employees such as Jessie. The Centurion Lounge represents the American Express brand, and I hope that future guests--regardless of where they were born or how they speak English--will feel equally respected and welcome. I am providing this feedback in good faith and with the hope that it can be used constructively to improve the guest experience. Revenge is not my objective; respectful treatment and better service are.
They keep the area pretty clean. It was very full when we went. Wide selection of food with decent taste. Pretty easy to find on our way to our gate. Nice staff and fellow travelers in the lounge is a bonus. Bathroom are definitely a lot nicer to use than the ones in the regular airport part
I'm a fan of the Centurion club. If you can get in, sometimes the waitlist can be over 30 minutes. It is an oasis in an airport. Some of the things I like about this location over others, it has two bars. So the capacity is much greater than the Houston Centurion. They also have a cook to order grill, that delivers freshly cooked specials each day. Today it was a customizable Mac and cheese. The regular trough food is pretty good as well. Did I tell you drinks and food are included? If you fly more than twice a month, and there is a Centurion club in the connecting hub the Amex Platinum card will pay for itself. Everyone here seems to act like they are the reason this club is here. Is that entitlement? With connection flights, the crowd is constantly turning over. There is much seating with bar, high table, low table, and a 'kids' area to keep the noise down. It took me 33 minutes to get in on the waiting list today. The clubs secret seems to have leaked out. Highly recommend!
Airport lounges are heaven sent for me. I travel for work and to be able to sit at a lounge with fast Wi-Fi and delicious food and drinks makes business traveling somewhat better. I hate waking up super early and rushing to get to the airport. But once I check into a lounge, I can finally breath and relax. Love all the Centurion Lounges, they have everything I need.
The Centurion Lounge is in the C gates area, which means if your flight is departing from the A or B gates area you will need to plan for extra time to take the train to your gate. It is always busy every time I visit and one of my favorites here is the omelette station in the morning. You get to build your own omelette with a choice of green onions, green/red/yellow pepper, mushroom, bacon bits, turkey, and cheese as its fillings. The chef is very friendly and enjoys chatting with you while you are waiting for your omelette cooked in front of you. This station turned into a mac and cheese station after breakfast hours when I was here last week.
If you're here in the mornings and considering the omelette station, make sure you're allocating about 20 mins for the wait as omelette take time to cook. Hint: there's typically bagels and lox by the second bar area without a long queue if you're in a rush.
Long waitlist. At $850 a year I can sit at the snack bar at the bottom of the of the escalator for free. Why do I need "Membership"?
Absolutely NO complaints about this lounge! The line was a bit long coming in, however it moved fairly quickly and check in was a breeze! There was ample seating for your layover needs! Whether you want to nap, eat, socialize, or work, there's something to accommodate that. Everything was super clean and the servers were ON IT when it came to clearing tables for guests. The food was absolutely scrumptious! I had a combination of pasta, potatoes, tomato bisque, baked chicken and spinach, and for dessert I had a mini tart and a slice of cheesecake. I paired my meal with some chia tea which was YUMMY! I truly can't complain about any facet of the food! Bathrooms were in tip top shape, and I didn't find the place to be too crowded. It did exactly what I needed for my layover! 5/5
Always a great place - especially when your flights are delayed because some moron stole a plane in Vancouver and circled the airport causing your outbound - and connections - to be delayed !! Enjoyed French 75s and amazing food - their BBQ Tofu was excellent and kids enjoyed the made to order Mac n cheese bar! Thank you Centurion lounge for saving us during flight delays
I'll start with cons: -The wait was crazy, we had to join a virtual line but it was glitching so we had to wait in a line to have them add us. Then once you're notified, you have to stand in another line but there's a timer! So if they're too slow to check in others and it runs out, you have to re-check in smh. -It was SO hard to find outlets at this lounge, and the one we did find ended up not working. -There were tons of flies everywhere -Bussing was slow compared to other lounges I've been in but I do understand it was busy -no to-go coffee cups available -half of the drink station machines did not work, including the water fill station? Pros: -food was pretty good for a lounge, and a nice spread of healthy options -I enjoyed that our corner had a smaller bar, smaller snack station, and smaller drink station as a satellite area from the main stations -make your own pasta was pretty unique and fun! the line was long and it would take a few minutes so probably not the most conducive thing ever but it felt a little more elevated. I just wish they had more customization options (since it takes a while anyway) -I did enjoy the fun desserts like the cheesecake cup with the chocolate spoon -- cute! -Coke Zero on its own tap was GENIUS and I was very happy to sit directly next to it lol

I'm not a lounge expert. But most of them have not been that great. I got the AMEX Platinum card to get perks like this lounge, as well as others that help with travel. This is an airport i have a layover at until my final destination. I couldn't use the lounge in LA because it was in the wrong terminal. Here, it's on the other side of the airport. When I arrived, I had to scan a code to get in the waitlist. Then I couldn't do that because my flight left in 4 hours, even though it was less than 3 hours from boarding. I get that they're trying to limit access. But that was a drag. Even one minute before 3 hours before departure I couldn't get on the list. I finally did and it was about 10 minutes. Then you have to go up to another line. The getting in part was less than stellar. The place is big and pretty nice. There's a bar and a buffet. the buffet food didn't look great. But i had a salad and sone chicken. It was free. They have plenty of people cleaning up, clearing dishes, and restocking the buffet. They were all pleasant. It's very busy. But Denver is a hub airport. It's a pretty good place. read more

"Denver Amex Centurion Lounge: A Mile-High Escape! Walking into the Denver Centurion Lounge feels like hitting a VIP jackpot -- with cozy seating, mountain-inspired decor, and killer views of the Rockies. The breakfast food and craft cocktails turn airport downtime into a great relaxing time. My wife absolutely loves it! Find a comfy spot by the window, sip on your champagne and watch planes taxi while dreaming of mountain hikes. The speedy Wi-Fi and spa-like showers make it perfect for a quick refresh before your flight. In short, it's a stylish, scenic escape right in the airport--fun, relaxing, and totally worth the upgrade! There is a lot to love here!!! Beware they changed the WiFi password recently. read more

An adequate Amex lounge by amex standards. Not large enough for an airport of DEN's size but has good amentities, clean bathrooms, decent food, and is a nice place to stop during a layover. Just be warned that it is likely to be full inside at any hour and you may be stuck outside for a bit in a digital queue. We had to do the digital wait as it was at capacity but the wait was only about 10mins. read more

This Centurian Lounge sucks. Sooooo overcrowded. Does everyone in here pay $900 a year for the card? If they don't, they need to get out! No more guests, it's annoying. Or if you bring in a guest AmEx should charge them! Adults only lounge too please. Or expand! No kids running around wild. This isn't Disney. It's getting so ridiculous that all of them are getting way too overcrowded! Food is just okay. They have a Mac and cheese counter where they make it fresh but it's just okay. Not cheesy enough. Only thing I liked was the corn chowder soup. Bartender was rude about my id. I think he saw panic in my face because my drivers license was supposed to be on top of another ID but it wasn't there so I had to go back to where I checked in to see that I left my drivers license there. That was what the panic on my face was for. Not because he asked for my id. He said the other one would be fine but I gave him my passport instead. He mentioned all ids I have were suspicious but that's none of his business. Nothing illegal but I have ids for multiple different jobs because nowadays you need more than one job! Most of them are JOB IDs! That's not gonna be legit at all bar! DA! Other than that, none of his business. Rude. Hello! I'm freaking old okay?! Cranky ol' bartenders! When I asked for a second wine (I had only had one) they said it had been less than 15 minutes and I would need to wait. It had been 15 minutes or more because I ate a whole dinner plate in between! It seemed sexist because if I had been a man in a business suit they wouldn't have even questioned. So way to make a female solo traveler feel welcomed. Being shooed away. They really had something against me. So I waited 15 MORE minutes and got my second glass of wine and only had 2 total because then I had to run to my gate! All the way in A! Plus by the time I went to get a second glass there was a LONG line now because the other mini bar closed. They should have just served me the first time. Ridiculous. The DEN centurion lounge is tied with ATL for my favorite. I was sold by the made-to-order build your own Mac and cheese bar. Amazing. The ollipop fridge was awesome- 5 delicious flavors. 2 bars in the lounge, but pro tip- the bar in the back has 10+ local beers on tap. Great experience , no wait during the high season. read more

Centurion Lounge in Denver = absolute layover glow-up. I had a 3-hour layover and decided to be responsible and use the amenities instead of rotting at the gate. I reserved a shower and omg... the shower suite was actually clean and stocked like a mini Sephora tons of toiletries and little extras. Then I grabbed breakfast and the drink situation??? Coke Zero on tap (we love to see it) and they even had chai lattes. They also had a mac & cheese bar but I was already full so I had to show restraint for once The staff were sooo sweet, it wasn't crowded at all on New Year's Day, and the lounge is huge big U-shaped layout so it felt spacious and chill. 10/10 would come back read more

As I was coming up the escalator, I grew concerned as I saw a long line of a dozen or so people waiting to get into the lounge, especially with all those horror stories about overcrowded lounges in the back of my mind. Thanks to the efficient team of front desk staff, the line moved quickly. The staff saw that it was my first visit to this lounge and offered her warm greetings. Although the lounge wasn't too overcrowded, there weren't a lot of good seats available. I dropped off my luggage next to the larger bar and went to check out the food options. This was the first time I came to a lounge during transition time, so the kitchen team was ready to clean up the breakfast items from the buffet area. Therefore, I quickly hopped on the omelet station as I waited for the lunch items to come out. This was my first time getting freshly prepared omelet at an airport lounge. I wanted to save some appetite for the lunch items, so I asked the chef to make me a smaller size omelet. The lunch selection and quality was comparable to other Amex lounges, solid overall. I was mostly attracted by the desserts: panna cotta with cherry, tiramisu, and brownie. I had to try one each and each one was delicious as expected. Although the bar was also crowded, the bartenders were friendly and efficient. I was undecided between the Karwinski Lift and the Rocky Fence. The bartender made it easy by quickly recommending the Rocky Fence and it was tasty and complex in flavors. I ended up moving to a table with full views of the terminal below and enjoyed my meal and people watching at the same time. This definitely is a solid Amex Centurion lounge and I wished I had more time to enjoy it before my flight. read more
This is a very busy lounge as is DEN airport in general. The 3 separate times I've visited - only once have I been admitted before my flight. The place is nice and clean and bright - built in a donut like glass structure. Plenty of seating and felt open. Good food options and coffee/juice bar. There was a made-to-order omelette station. A nice bar for the drinkers. And quiet spaces away from food and saw a shower on the way out. Workers were polite and courteous. Quick to pick up empty plates. Would come back when I have more time during a layover. read more
Great lounge! Recently renovated and beautiful. Extra large to accommodate many travelers and centrally located within the DEN airport. Busy, but efficient bars and bartenders and the buffet served higher end food than most. I enjoyed a French rose, a nice chicken dish with couscous, salad and key lime tart. It was really nice to eat, drink and recharge my phone while taking a few business calls. I'll definitely plan more trips through Denver to enjoy this space! read more
I have been to lounges all over the world, and the Amex Centurion Lounge at DIA has by far been one of my best experiences. Was here long enough for both breakfast and lunch service and all the food was fresh tasting and in plentiful supply. The place was busy; but not too loud and there was plentiful seating. read more

Nice lounge at Denver International. Rather wait for flight here than at hotel or downstairs at terminal. Nice check-in staff. Full breakfast buffet, omelettes made to order, lox platters, full bar. Very clean dining room but not much room for your bags. Very clean restrooms. Huge staff constantly cleaning tables. Very relaxing. read more
I always love a good Amex lounge hang, but the layout at the Denver airport isn't my favorite. Located above the C Terminal, this lounge overlooks the main concourse area and the runway. The layout is in the shape of a "U" with the main bar in the middle and the buffet dining area on one side and the lounge area on the other. I did notice a second smaller bar being built in the lounge area, but it was under construction during my visit. The staff here is always super friendly and very attentive, always making sure the lounge is neat and tidy. The food here was also lacking a lot of flavor. I had to add salt and/or hot sauce to almost everything. To be honest, the food at the last few Amex lounges I've visited have been severely lacking in flavor and creativity. The shining light was the create your own mac n cheese station. I added jalapeno's, mushrooms, and roasted chicken to mine and it was delightful. I will always hit up a Amex when available, but let's hope they step up their food game soon! read more

This Centurion lounge is on the smaller side compared to others I've been to, but it's very easy to get to no matter which terminal you land at, as long as your layover is long enough. We had 3 hours and change in between flights and made the most of our time there. Despite the size and relatively crowded state we found seats easy and didn't have to wait for food, coffee, or the bar. We were there for breakfast and the buffet choices were pretty good; even though the eggs were clearly from a bag (or some other alternative egg state that does not include fresh cracked) that was easily solved by topping them with a generous ladle of the pork green chili. Early AM doesn't have a full bar but I was very fine with Prosecco and a screwdriver. There are showers (just two) and some smaller pod-like spaces to get a little privacy, and there were a few areas set up with plenty of charging (just not where we were) so it would be easy to get work done.
