Recently visited for Oakland Resturaunt Week and their amazing 3 course prix fixe menu for $45! Started off with a delicious and sweet cocktail called the Saturno. My first course was the Guacamole, which was light tasting with a hint of spice. The second course was sautéed prawns in the garlic butter sauce served with toasted baguettes. The third course was a flavorful birria plate of Mexican rice, beans and homemade tortillas with some salsa. Everything was colorfully presented but the birria was tender and warm, so my favorite course for sure! Our server Miguel was kind and attentive for our first time! He explained each part of our meal thoroughly and offered smooth Tequila to top off the Friday night! Definitely recommend for an intimate dinner with friends or a date night!

Street corn is so yummy they started eating before I could snap a pic!

We are regulars at Bar Cesar. It's always friendly, with a local neighborhood feel, staff are always friendly and attentive. Games are on screen sometimes which adds some excitement. The drinks are tasty and the food consistent. We love their chicken enchiladas, street corn, tempura fish tacos, and don't forget to try the churros or tiramisu!!

We have been coming here with friends for a couple of times now and we consistently have a great experience. We enjoy sitting at the bar, the staff is super friendly, the food is very tasty and the cocktails are great.

This review is all about updating the happy hour pricing images. ;) Happy hour food costs have doubled since my last visit. (No judgement! Food costs are up everywhere. ) Great food. Love the environment, staff and location too!

The bar was a very nice place to catch up with my friend! Although bustling, it was not too loud, and there was a lot of available bar seating. The service was nice as the bartender helped us decide what shots to take and what drinks were the most popular. I enjoyed the Paloma a lot! It was crisp, refreshing and light. I would definitely order it again.

A pretty awesome happy hour! Beer, wine, house cocktails, small plates, tacos, $1.50 fresh oysters, and coming soon: half off all bottles of wine! 3-6pm and 9pm to close every day (including Saturday and Sunday).

Such a beautiful interior space vibrant in celebration for AAPI Heritage month, and a super fun cocktail menu that was the perfect post-meal moment (both photo-worthy and tastebuds approved). We also noticed they have a cool food menu too filled with yummy and innovative dishes like Cheesy Char Siu Tots, Szechuan Salt & Pepper Wings, Korean Fried Mapo Tofu, BBQ Char Siu Ribs, and more. They also have nice swag ~ we took home a hat that resembled a Kirkland hat that spelled out "Oakland Viridian" (IYKYK). Drink-wise we ordered the Soy Sauce Old Fashioned and the Café Sua Daddy, which essentially is an espresso martini with a fun twist with black sesame and an egg cream foam. Both drinks were outstanding and presentation was beyond..I wished we could have stayed for round two, but duty calls! Ride-share and or BART suggested in this area, it's just a bit congested downtown to park. Service was fun, prices fair for the whole experience. Loved it!

Service was really prompt and friendly. The food was great we ordered all the classics such as the tater tots and the cucumbers, and we also got the salt and pepper wings, and the special mapo tofu. Portions are great and it's definitely a lot of food to share. There are also extensive cocktails on the menu running at $16-$20 each, which is expected for the creativity and expert craftsmanship of each cocktail. They have a large number of cocktails that are special and seasonal, and then their classics on the bottom. I don't think you can go wrong with anything that you try and I love that they have Asian fusion options for the cocktails and savory and sweet. I got one of the seasonal cocktails that was passionfruit forward and it had a nice tart crisp taste that I really enjoyed.

From the moment I sat down, the warm glow of the dining room, lively energy, and inviting aromas drifting from the kitchen set the tone for an exceptional evening. The cocktails were outstanding. The Ojos Así was beautifully balanced, with bright, refreshing notes layered over deeper, more complex flavors that unfolded with each sip. Its vibrant presentation and fragrant aroma made it as enjoyable to admire as it was to drink. Equally impressive was the Y El Hombre Caimán, a bold and expertly crafted cocktail bursting with character, combining rich flavors and a silky texture while remaining remarkably approachable. Both were the kind of cocktails that make you slow down, savor every sip, and appreciate the artistry behind them. For the main course, the Costilla Negra was the star of the table. Perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy, the short rib featured a beautifully caramelized exterior that gave way to tender, flavorful meat. Each bite delivered a satisfying balance of richness and refinement, while the thoughtfully plated accompaniments added contrasting textures and complementary flavors that elevated the dish even further. What truly elevated the experience was the service. Rhi, tending bar, was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the cocktail program. Her recommendations were spot on and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. She is a true master at her craft. Jackie, our server, was equally fantastic--warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel like valued guests throughout the meal. Parche combines exceptional Colombian cuisine, creative cocktails, and hospitality that leaves a lasting impression. Between the vibrant atmosphere, beautifully presented dishes, and memorable flavors, it's the kind of place that reminds you why dining out can be such a joy. I will absolutely be returning. The Plantains: Perfectly executed with that ideal contrast of texture and rich flavor. The Branzino Salad: A total standout. The fish was beautifully prepared, light, and paired wonderfully with the crisp, refreshing greens. The Comunitario Rice: Deeply flavorful, comforting, and perfect for sharing across the table.
