Chicken Samosa and beef samosas
Fran P.

Right off Michigan Ave and 275 in Canton is this cute place with tasty Pakistani food. I had a chance to sample a lot of their menu items and had a chance to hear the story of the restaurant amd how it came together. Some of the dishes are spicy but they have a yogurt sauce to help with the heat if it's overbearing. The service was fast and pleasant. The decor is inviting. They also have a separate private duning area. The chicken biryani was delicious and my favorite dish of all that I tried.

First time here and I'm thoroughly impressed! I loved learning that this is a family-owned restaurant using treasured family recipes. You can truly taste the love and care in every dish. The variety of flavors in each dish was outstanding! Every spice worked together perfectly and created a full, flavorful moment with every bite. The service was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the food did not disappoint. The chicken samosas were crispy and delicious, and the chicken and rice had just the right amount of spice and flavor, everything was perfectly seasoned. I also enjoyed the Papri Chat, which was refreshing and delightful. The way the spices blended together, paired with the homemade yogurt sauce, created such a satisfying balance. Overall, this was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I would definitely return to try even more items from the menu!

Naan Plain and tikka paneer

Bar-BQ nite was so kind to host this awesome event. My wife and I love all of the flavors of India and had high hopes from the pictures for our first Pakistani experience. The staff were lovely and inviting. The decor in the banquet room was super cool. To begin we had some appetizers. There was a beef somosa, that was pretty good, didn't blow my socks off. There was a veggie spring roll, that was not too bad. The fattoush salad was nice and refreshing. However, the star was the Chaat with chickpeas. The Chaat was creamy, crunchy and full of flavor; would definitely recommend. For dinner we had a Tikka paneer that was very nice. If you didn't know it was cheese it could be a great meat substitute. The Bar-Bq platter was good with a mix of chicken tikka and beef kabob. My only complaint was that the chicken tikka was too soft of a texture for me. And then there was a star in the Chicken Biryani. Maybe I was hungry, but this was super tasty. It was probably the best I have had. Thank you to Bar-Bq Nite for your hospitality.

The food was excellent! The employees were so friendly and the decor and paintings were welcoming and aesthetic. I absolutely loved the crispy but filled chicken spring rolls and the sauce it comes with is very delicious. The spicy zinger burger also phenomenal, it wasn't too spicy and was so crunchy. The biryani, karahi and seekh kebab were all good! The garlic naan was very delicious! I definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Service was immaculate, food was delicious, vibes are high! I will note the spices also incredibly high. I was profusely sweating while eating all of my food and drinking water like my life depended on it. Would absolutely come back though, worth it!

Tried the small platter and it was great! The chicken tikka was super juicy, seekh kababs were flavorful, and the rice pulled it all together. Everything had that perfect smoky char. The portions were generous, and the raita was a great touch. Definitely coming back to try the biryani or goat chops next time!

I've been meaning to try this place so I was excited when Yelp collabed with them to do this event. They pulled out all of the stops and they had a phenomenal spread with great food. I was really impressed. Everything was fresh and the service was great. I don't love the temperature of the lighting but it's what you expect for a desi restaurant. I definitely have to come back and have it again!

This was a great experience. The food was fresh flavorful and exceeded my expectations. The staff provided detailed answers about any questions regarding the dishes. The fattoush salad had fresh ingredients with the right amount of dressing. The garlic naan was perfect. I wasn't disappointed with any of the items. I would definitely come back.

Had a great time trying this restaurant out. The decor on the inside is so beautiful and the food was so flavorful. All the staff were so kind and helpful. It is so great to have a Pakistani inspired restaurant in the area.

Very nice event with very nice people. Nice big selection of food. The variety of everything was beautiful. The environment was warm, and inviting. Definitely a delight to say thee least. I don't eat beef so I couldn't try that option but did try the chicken option and salad.

Fun, family run restaurant serving amazing dishes from Pakistan. Nice fusion dishes with tangy spices.

It's worth the wait people. I do hope they figure out a faster way to make and serve food when they are packed. Nice and spacious place. They were busy so the floors were slightly dirty but started cleaning immediately as they slowed up a bit.

Delhi Hut Indian Cuisine - Vegetable Samosa

Delhi Hut Indian Cuisine

The other night, craving Indian food but uninspired by my usual rotation of local spots, I found…read moremyself thinking back to a place I hadn't visited in ages: Delhi Hut. What would I have. Ah, yes. Indo‑Chinese sounded perfect. I called in an order for Manchurian Chicken and Hakka Chicken Noodles, making a point to request the dishes hot, truly spicy. When I arrived, my order was ready right on time. Delhi Hut operates as takeout‑only, so I grabbed the bag and headed toward my truck. I thought, wow - This bad is heavy. Since, I was so hungry, I need to sample some food before I got home. Right? The portions were astonishing. I'd ordered two entrées out of habit--too many restaurants serve portions that barely qualify as a meal. They are more like an appetizer. Delhi Hut, however, delivered enough food for dinner that night and two generous lunches the following days. Both dishes were deeply flavorful, the kind of Indo‑Chinese comfort food that hits all the right notes. My lone critique: the spice level. Despite my request, the heat landed squarely in "white‑man hot" territory. Next time, I'll be explicit--Asian‑man hot, please. And yes, there will absolutely be a next time.

Oh man, this was rather disappointing. Perhaps it's because we ordered delivery, but my meal was…read moreinedible and ended up being tossed. My husband ordered CHICKEN CORN SOUP and CHICKEN MANCHURIAN, and I got to try both. His response when I asked how he liked him said, "fine." That's how I felt also. The soup tasted like canned cream corn with ground chicken. Which, I suppose, is basically the description so I cannot fault that. The chicken was cloyingly sweet with a bit of heat. I agree with the description. It was fine, but not memorable or something we'd order again. I ordered VEGETABLE SAMOSA and TANDOORI MIX GRILL. The Samosa were excellent - packed filled of veggies and accompanied with delicious mint and tamarind sauces. Probably some of the best Samosa 's I've had, if I'm being honest! My entree, however, was dismal and extremely disappointing. The description was "A combination of marinated chicken, seekh kabob, boti, and shrimp cooked in the tandoor." There was exactly 1 shrimp in the entire box and I could find zero Boti (I honestly forgot this was supposed to be in the box until just now when I re-read the description. Clearly it wasn't missed, but also why was it not included!?) Disappointing, but whatever. The chicken and kabob were dryyyyyyy and so overcooked. The meat tasted like it was cooked on the tandoor yesterday and microwaved before packaging up to serve. It was awful and inedible and I ended up tossing it out. The GARLIC NAAN was fine. Nothing noteworthy either way. We ordered the 4oz Indian Pickle, but it was omitted from the delivery. We were not refunded for the item. It was only $1 but still annoying. A+ for their packaging and A+ on their prices. D+ on the food. Sadly, we will not be repeat customers.

Pakwaan Fine Indian Cuisine - My friend enjoyed her Tikka Masala with white meat chicken. She was glad she got it at mild spice level.

I got there around 1:20 and they closed the buffet right at 2 - clearly eager to get out of there. The selection was good: I liked the fact that they had a standard green salad. I had some tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, butter paneer, and naan. I also tried bites of the aloo gobi and some vegan dish that I can't remember the name of but it was basically cauliflower and potatoes. I was a little disappointed in the dessert selection; I love gulab jamun and was hoping they would have it but all they had was a mango custard (it was good but I wanted something sweeter). All of the food was good bordering on great; my standards for Indian food are pretty high and this place met them. I thought the spice level was good - not horribly spicy but definitely had a kick to some dishes. Would have been nice to have a lamb dish but understand they have to cater to vegetarians too. The place itself is nice although the lighting was a little dark in my opinion. They were great about refilling water, clearing plates, and checking in. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Would return!

It's well worth the drive too! We were staying at a hotel in Ypsilanti and after careful research I found this place in Canton. They have a simple straight forward menu but they can make anything for catering and the like. This is a quaint little mom and pop place that's serving up the best Lahori desi food we've had in a long time! The sesame naan tasted like roghni nana with real ghee on the top and brought back my fond memories of having it in Lahore long ago. This was the closet to Lahore roghni naan we've had ever in over 25 years!! They was so good we ordered 20 to take back home with us as you're not going to find this flavor and quality anywhere in US! The tandoori chicken was melt in your mouth magnificent as they make their own spice blend that I won't forget! The goat biryani and chicken karahi was so good that we couldn't stop eating even though we were full. The goat was plentiful, tender and flavorful. The owners Ali & Aisha are very welcoming and you almost feel like you're at your Auntie's or at home. They make everything themselves. Very generous portions of everything at a really good price! The chutney was a nice accompaniment to the entrees as well. When was the last time you had a true authentic samosa with jovaan (carom seed) in the crust?!! Nothing was a bit oily but packed with unique and familiar flavors. Aisha just made a fresh batch of rus malai desert and it was like biting into puffy light delicious pillows. I sure wish they had their place in my state. This place is one for my record books of "Best Pakistani food places in the USA"! Small place but mighty Desi Daag!
