The Bihari kebab is thinly sliced, tenderized beef marinated in yogurt, raw papaya paste, mustard oil, and a mixture of smoky spices. This is grilled in the oven or charcoal grill to get a very rich flavor and smoky taste. It was delicate, and very tasty. The halwa puri was also very tasty and had rich thick puris with chickpeas and potato curry. I would have liked more halwa, the quantity was very less. The rest was great!

They have done a new remodel to their restaurant and the inside has been greatly updated. Prices are reasonable and does not disappoint. We will return again and again.

First of all, I hate writing these negative reviews because people are trying to make a living but…read morewhen a restaurant does things like this, it is just unacceptable. This place deserves zero stars. Naans are store bought and heated at the restaurant on a Tawa (flat top pan), In my case the regular Naans are costco bought. How do I know this, I clearly seen the lady take them out of the packaging and heat them up, see pics. $2 for a small tiny bite size Keema Samosa, that is just ridiculous and greedy. Oh and the best part (drum roll...) also store bought frozen ones, deep fried at restaurant. The Haleem, barely had any meat, mostly consisting of lentils/wheat. The so called "Best Veal Biryani in the City" is anything but, 2 out of 10 in my opinion. To top it off, gentlemen (which I believe is the owner) standing at the front counter is very rude, acts like he's doing you a favour by heavily marking up store bought food, reheating and serving it to you. Another Windsor Desi restaurant fail.

Bringing infant sized servings to the table is not appropriate for grown adults. We were in disbelief. I specifically pointed to a picture on the menu which looked like a normal sized adult plate. Would highly recommend this place if you're looking for desi, vegetarian, or Mediterranean cuisine - the menu is vast! Also, I learned from my in-laws who are locals in the area that this restaurant has been around for a while and perhaps wasn't doing too well in the beginning (hence some not so great reviews from a few years ago), but they seem to have revamped it and bounced back beautifully with great service and food. There's also even an attached banquet hall now that is a good size and quite nice with catering from the restaurant available for events. The person waiting our table was named Meena and she was wonderful and very helpful.

Their prices are average but the food is definitely worth the price. The only reason I have for rating this place four stars instead of five is that the service is only average and the inside of the restaurant leaves much to be desired. Their lunch specials are only $6 and include rice, naan and chicken, lamb or goat curry. This is a great buy for anybody and while you don't get as much food as you would buying the full price entrees, the food is still top notch.
