Very good Pakistani restaurant with delicious butter chicken as well as naan. Their mango lassis are also very good. Smaller space with a few tables/chairs inside and outside, so I imagine the majority of patrons take their food to go. Service also excellent. Highly recommended!

Okay I have been eyeing this place for a while now. Finally got the try it. Before I go in this place does not really have a seating area. They do have like three tables but I think those are for people that are waiting or I guess you could use them to eat quickly and go. More of a take home and enjoy vibes. We order the beef bihari roll in naan and chicken sheek kebab in naan and an order or chicken spring rolls and mango lassi. Mango lassi was FRESH! The food was amazing, it was fresh, and the rolls were so flavorful. Little spicy but so so so good. I'm honestly excited to go back and try the other stuff off the menu. Didn't get any pictures of the rolls as we sat in the car to eat. Chicken spring rolls are sooooooo good two come in an order Total was around 27.00 which you can't beat! Friendly and fast service Plenty of parking

This is a takeout restaurant. Highly recommend calling ahead as it takes time to get your food. We are not from the area so we tend to stop here when we need to be in the metro Detroit area. We ordered the large BBQ platter which had a little bit of everything, including naan and raita. I do think it came with too much rice especially when compared to the amount of meat but everything tasted great, despite us driving 2hrs back home to eat it.

Kolachi Kichen has a more limited menu, but it packs a flavor punch! My coworker picked up lunch for us during a busy day. They were out of the item I had initially wanted, so I opted for an order of beef samosas and chicken seekh kabab. The smell was heavenly! I'm surprised my coworker made it back without diving in! The seekh kabab was full of meat, so flavorful and perfectly spiced. I asked for mild spice. The beef samosas were packed with beef and super crispy. They were a bit greasy but the flavor was strong and delicious. Those were a bit spicier. Even with a limited menu, I was really impressed with their cuisine. They also have a Ramadan menu for the holiday which I think is perfect. I will absolutely be returning!

Chicken Karahi with lots of oil. 4/5 star reviews of this restaurant are definitely fake

The restaurant opened late 11:10 am as opposed to their stated time of 11am. They mentioned they were short staffed because one of their employees quit. All in all the person behind the counter was very courteous. However, the food came out super slow. Ordered at 11:19am and received at 12:15pm. I ordered two Halwa Puris, Bun Kabab, and Chicken Karahi. The chicken karahi, halwa and the aloo ki tarkari were swimming in oil. The oil to tarkari ratio seemed 1:1 (see attached picture). The shami kabab in the bun kabab was undercooked (see picture) and didn't taste very good. The naan that came with Chicken Karahi was not from the restaurant tandoor but from a Desi super market (see picture). The Chicken Karahi also lacked in taste. Almost seemed like they had boiled chicken separately and then used tomato paste etc to create the dish. Not really how you make Karahi. If the owners of this restaurant are to present authentic Pakistani food, the quality needs to improve exponentially. The food needs to be made with love and without a ton of oil and super market naans are a definite no-no.

I originally came here thinking this was Afghan food because of a sign I saw up front. Turned out it used to be one, but has since changed ownership and serves Pakistani food. It's a family owned operation from what I gather, and the space is easy to miss since it's not visible off the main road. I figured I would try a basic beef kabob with rice and "salad". I put the word salad in quotations because what actually came with my order was a moderate amount of sliced red onions. I enjoy red onions with my meal, don't get me wrong, but when it says salad on the menu I expect an actual salad. Having said that the food was delicious and I found the lady who took my order to be quite friendly and helpful in navigating the menu. I do want to warn anyone who decides to order from here that it is wise to call ahead and place it. When I ordered in person it took a half hour to get my food and I was the only one there at the time. They make everything from scratch and take their time so this ain't quick in-n-out, but the results are worth it.

I drove over an hour in heavy rain to eat at this place. The staff was wonderful and attentive. Food took a while since it was so fresh. The only thing was issues with seating but i guess that's mainly due covid

Super delicious. Paratha roll with chicken. I ate half before I snapped the pic.

Good food, decent service. We ordered Biriyani, it was good. A good addition to canton.

The pleasant surprises kept coming as we played everything up. Mild - was mild and full of flavor Medium - is great spice and full of flavor Hot - it's HOT! I'm so happy because I find when you order hot from other places, it's too tame. Here - it's authentic. Very nice in the phone. Very nice in person. Delhi Hut is replacing our go-to! Ah, yes. Indo‑Chinese sounded perfect. I called in an order for Manchurian Chicken and Hakka Chicken Noodles, making a point to request the dishes hot, truly spicy. When I arrived, my order was ready right on time. Delhi Hut operates as takeout‑only, so I grabbed the bag and headed toward my truck. I thought, wow - This bad is heavy. Since, I was so hungry, I need to sample some food before I got home. Right? The portions were astonishing. I'd ordered two entrées out of habit--too many restaurants serve portions that barely qualify as a meal. They are more like an appetizer. Delhi Hut, however, delivered enough food for dinner that night and two generous lunches the following days. Both dishes were deeply flavorful, the kind of Indo‑Chinese comfort food that hits all the right notes. My lone critique: the spice level. Despite my request, the heat landed squarely in "white‑man hot" territory. Next time, I'll be explicit--Asian‑man hot, please. And yes, there will absolutely be a next time.

I got there around 1:20 and they closed the buffet right at 2 - clearly eager to get out of there. The selection was good: I liked the fact that they had a standard green salad. I had some tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, butter paneer, and naan. I also tried bites of the aloo gobi and some vegan dish that I can't remember the name of but it was basically cauliflower and potatoes. I was a little disappointed in the dessert selection; I love gulab jamun and was hoping they would have it but all they had was a mango custard (it was good but I wanted something sweeter). All of the food was good bordering on great; my standards for Indian food are pretty high and this place met them. I thought the spice level was good - not horribly spicy but definitely had a kick to some dishes. Would have been nice to have a lamb dish but understand they have to cater to vegetarians too. The place itself is nice although the lighting was a little dark in my opinion. They were great about refilling water, clearing plates, and checking in. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Would return!

We walked in thinking it was a café, but it turned out to be a proper vegetarian restaurant. We came in without reading any reviews, so our expectations were neutral I ordered the Chikku shake and Dahi puri. My friend ordered Pav bhaji, Rava onion dosa, and a cold coco shake. My chikku shake and dahi puri were decent, nothing outstanding, but enjoyable. The Pav bhaji was just okay, but the pav wasn't fresh, which took away from the dish. The Rava onion dosa was the biggest letdown, it looked appetizing, but the taste didn't match. Even the accompaniments didn't pair well, which was surprising. The cold coco shake tasted more like vanilla ice cream with a light sprinkle of cocoa powder rather than a rich chocolate drink. Overall, the place has a nice atmosphere and is well maintained, but the food didn't live up to how good it looked. With better execution and fresher ingredients, it could be much better. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend considering other venues. We hosted my sister's jago party here. During the venue selection process, Punjab initially offered us a flat food rate and stated that alcohol pricing would be state minimum plus $10. After we explored other venues, they agreed to reduce it to state minimum plus $5. We also specifically discussed timing, and were told we could stay as late as needed because "they understand how Punjabi parties go." However, just a few days before the event, I requested the finalized alcohol pricing and was shocked to see it was nearly triple the state minimum pricing we had discussed. At the same time, we were suddenly informed of food service timing restrictions and told the kitchen would close at 10 PM. None of this had been clearly communicated upfront, and there was never a reasonable explanation for the pricing change. Unfortunately, the issues continued on the day of the event: * The bathrooms were dirty, had no soap in the dispensers, and several stalls did not have functioning locks. * Appetizers were served about 20 minutes late and then picked up early. * Service staff were rude to guests and even attempted to charge guests for ginger ale. * Staff attempted to stop dinner service at 10 PM, and our family had to intervene to keep food available for guests. The constant last-minute changes and lack of professionalism made what should have been a joyful celebration unnecessarily stressful. We are a family of professionals, and this is simply not how business should be conducted.
