Deccan Bawarchi delivers bold, authentic Indian flavors with a menu that celebrates the richness of Hyderabadi and South Indian cuisine. We stopped in for a quick bite and were impressed by the depth of flavor and warmth of the service--this spot is a hidden gem for anyone craving true-to-roots Indian cooking. We ordered the Chicken Achari, and it was nothing short of a flavor bomb. Tender chicken pieces were simmered in a tangy, spicy pickle-style (achari) masala that was beautifully layered--bold with mustard seeds, fenugreek, garlic, and chilies, yet balanced enough to keep you going back for more. The spice level was just right, bringing heat without overwhelming the palate. To scoop it all up, we paired it with Garlic Butter Naan, which arrived fresh, warm, and pillowy with crisp edges and a rich, garlicky aroma. The butter added just the right touch of indulgence, making it the perfect partner to the punchy achari curry. Overall, Deccan Bawarchi hits all the right notes--authentic flavors, generous portions, and a focus on traditional recipes done right. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back and explore more of the menu, especially the biryanis and tandoori specialties they're known for.

Food is great ! My husband said it was the best liver he has ever had ! We were in a rush and they were able to accommodate us quickly. They were very prompt and understanding - ensuring everything came as quickly as possible. Ambiance was very nice with plenty of seating. Great for large crowds and families.

This is one of the best halal chicken spots in America. You must try it when you're in the area. Abdul Majeed is one of the most professional and friendly staff members at this restaurant--be sure to ask for him when you visit!

Tried a new place (to us, at least) off of DoorDash tonight. My fiance and I chose this place because they were offering $5 off (20% off your order, up to $5) and also they had Gobi 65, a fried cauliflower dish he likes. Disappointingly, they gave us chili paneer instead of the Gobi 65, although I actually ended up liking it a lot even though it was super spicy and I can't do spice. We ordered butter chicken, which was fine but I've had better; chicken korma, which was a bit spicy for me and neither of us liked; garlic naan, which was huge and nice and fluffy; and two mango lassi. The lassi was smaller than other places I've been to. Prices were on par with other places in the area, perhaps even a little cheaper. I'd order from here again but would probably pursue other places first. I'm not sure when this actually opened AKA why they're not on Yelp yet but they have a lot of Google reviews and the oldest I saw was 7 months old. My guess is that they probably have been open earlier than that though.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! DO NOT BELIEVE THE 4.5-STAR RATING! This has to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I ordered a mild Chicken 65 Biryani to-go and everything was a complete disaster. I went in to pick up my order and was completely ignored for a full 10 minutes. The staff was too busy on their phones to even bother asking why I was there. When someone finally got around to me, they had not prepared my order and said that they dont have my order. I showed them the receipt the they to make my food, but it's clear they just gave me someone else's, because when I got home, the "mild" biryani was so spicy it was totally inedible. So I called, and they told me to come back anytime for a new order. I went back the SAME NIGHT, hoping to just get the food I actually ordered, but the nightmare continued. Again, no one acknowledged me. The host, the guy in the kitchen, and another guy were all on their phones, completely ignoring customers and just being busy with themselves. It was unbelievable. To make things even worse, I watched them eating with their bare hands and licking their fingers right in the middle of the kitchen. I can only HOPE they washed their hands afterwards. Disgusting. After all that waiting and frustration, when I finally got my food. They gave me just the Chicken 65--NO BIRYANI. They didn't even have the decency to tell me they were out when I called them earlier. I've attached a picture to show what a complete joke this was. This place is a joke. The staff is unprofessional, the food is wrong, and the whole experience is just one disappointment after another. DO NOT TRUST THE REVIEWS. MOST OF THEM ARE NOT TRUE. This place is NOT WORTH your time or money

By far the best Indian I have ever tried in Michigan. Goat Dum Biryani, Mandi and Marag are just exceptional. I literally go every week at least 2-3 times, to go spot for me.

Food is good, buffet especially, didn't like dessert much but rice biryani and other various items were good.

Pakwaan Fine Indian Cuisine - My friend enjoyed her Tikka Masala with white meat chicken. She was glad she got it at mild spice level.

I got there around 1:20 and they closed the buffet right at 2 - clearly eager to get out of there. The selection was good: I liked the fact that they had a standard green salad. I had some tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, butter paneer, and naan. I also tried bites of the aloo gobi and some vegan dish that I can't remember the name of but it was basically cauliflower and potatoes. I was a little disappointed in the dessert selection; I love gulab jamun and was hoping they would have it but all they had was a mango custard (it was good but I wanted something sweeter). All of the food was good bordering on great; my standards for Indian food are pretty high and this place met them. I thought the spice level was good - not horribly spicy but definitely had a kick to some dishes. Would have been nice to have a lamb dish but understand they have to cater to vegetarians too. The place itself is nice although the lighting was a little dark in my opinion. They were great about refilling water, clearing plates, and checking in. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Would return!

Small dining area. We were told to sit down…read more This is a franchise Indian restaurant. That's a first. Went up to get our own menus. Order at the counter or they will take your order at the table. We got a small cup of complementary veggie soup. We ordered Gobi Manchurian, lollipop chicken, dry, butter chicken, Chana masala. All spicy level, which is medium+ spicy. They are out of Dal Tadka today. :/ $58.82 Our waitress made sure to check our order and our spice level. The soup is watery, oily, nice and spicy. It's surprisingly refreshing and good. The Gobi has decent flavor, just slightly spicy, not crispy. The lollipop chicken was too gristly and fatty for my tastes. My husband ate the rest. I was done with the chicken. I didn't mind the cabbage, cilantro, carrot and red onion slaw that was the bedding of the lollipop chicken. The butter chicken sauce is okay, the chicken itself is overcooked. I had a few harder, chewy piece in my portion. The Chana masala is good, that was my favorite dish out of everything we ate tonight. Upon our receipt of the bill, I was bit bothered to be informed then that they would give us an 8% discount if we use cash. Would have been better to mention that ahead of our order, no? They do charge 3% administrative charges or the credit card fee to me. I expect to pay the sales tax, always.

If I were to guess my guess would be this location just opened. They were doing a DoorDash deal, 25% off up to $10, so we tried them last night. We ordered: -Gobi 65: This is one of my husband's favorite dishes and theirs was very good. For this and all of our entrees, we were able to select a spice level, as well, which is good because I can only handle mild spice. -Butter paneer: also delicious. -Chicken Tikka masala: very good, although I'm not a fan of when Indian places include veggies in these types of dishes. -2 orders of garlic naan: very garlicky, buttery, and a bit thin. Delicious to sop up the sauce with. Portions were very large also, the sauce was literally overflowing from the containers. As for pricing, it was a few dollars more than Aahar, also in Farmington and another of our go-to ordering places, but I feel like the portion sizes make it worth it. I usually order a mango lassi but since it was about $50+ for all that food, I did not, this time - hopefully next time. Overall everything was very tasty from here and hot and fresh, so I would order from here again.
