Since we always eat here, we decided to stay and order a sandwich. I ordered a BLT and asked to add one egg to the BLT. The waitress said no, that eggs were a breakfast item and they cannot add it. Ironically, if you order a salad you can add an egg. Or a hamburger, you can add an egg. But you cannot add an egg to a BLT. So we paid for our drink and went to Pops where we were greeted with a smile, a very clean dining room, very friendly staff, and delicious food. This anniversary weekend, we began a new breakfast tradition- we will eat at Pops.

It's three medium-sized meatballs (at best) with sauce and three pieces of garlic bread. The meatballs were solid, and I usually don't love garlic bread but will eat it, but this might have been the best garlic bread I've ever had. I don't know why I liked it so much. If you're in the Maggie Valley/Cherokee area, definitely go. Also, a couple of other tips.... One, the food in Maggie Valley absolutely blows away the food in Bryson City. It's not even close!
