Came in on a Wednesday 5:40pm and I could tell this place was good because of how busy it was. We got the outside table as the weather was nice. Ordered Smokenouse platters Sliced Brisket with two sides $18.99. Sliced brisket was huge! Very tender and tasty with many sauces to choose from. I liked the ketchup based brown sauce, I believe it's the normal BBQ sauce. Fries were delicious and crunchy on the outside! A little bit like Checker's fries. Coleslaw was okay, but mashed potatoes were good according to my colleague. Good and fast service, nice ambiance and quality brisket with good portion! Recommended!

I'm very glad I stopped by, it was a quiet mid-afternoon. Service was as quick as I've had, I was in and out with lunch in no more than five minutes. I tried a pulled pork plate with macaroni salad, potato salad and cornbread, and two spare ribs. The cornbread was moist and very tasty with a hint of sweetness. The pulled pork was slightly dry and needed salt, but once salted and dosed with their house-made bbq sauce it made for a great lunch. The potato salad was great, very creamy with a little crunch and tang from red onion. The macaroni salad was OK, a bit bland. The ribs were the high point of the meal. Very large, meaty, juicy, tender. They did need just a touch of salt. All-in-all a very satisfying lunch. It won't be another two years before I'm back.
