My daughters and their huge riding class come here every couple Saturdays to eat together as one big family. The staff is great about putting tables together before the group arrives to the restaurant. The staff is quick with taking orders and delivering the food. Food is also delicious! We order delivery or take out from this place ... often. Love their food. However their in person customer service SUCKS. They were closing at 9:30 and we walked in at 9pm wanted to eat there and they basically said I could only get take out because they want to get out in time. I work in retail and if we are closing at 9 and a customer walks in at 8:58 we don't tell them "we are open but pls get out so we can go hone in time". They have a "open" sign and hours till 9:30 ... but we're rude and won't serve you. It's called false advertising. And just down right wrong. read more

The husband and I decided to give this place a try tonight for dinner. The atmosphere was great - clean and modern interior with friendly staff. It was a little hard to understand some of the staff bc of heavy accents, but they were all very attentive. We ordered crab rangoons and pot stickers (fried) for appetizers. The crab rangoons were very good. They had a little thicker shell than I'm used to, and seemed to have some flour on the outside, but it was still good. The pot stickers had a very thick shell, and it was a little chewy - I didnt enjoy them, but my husband did. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken which was very good, but the fried rice was lack-luster to me. A little undercooked and under seasoned maybe. My husband had the chicken and vegetables, which were steamed and very good. It was good chinese food. May come back and try something different next time. read more

The food is good. I call and have it delivered. Always delivered quickly and correct order.

They do try to deliver an inexpensive, nice Chinese dinner experience. I am not expert on Chinese cuisine, but this is a decent example. I will return to try another entree. The decor is fresh, modern. The plentiful (masked) staff is attentive and accommodating. Hand sanitizer pump is offered upon entry. Menu is extensive ( maybe a bit overwhelming and descriptions lacking)) and staff is willing to do substitutions although their ingredient knowledge is lacking. The portions are generous enough to share or for a 2nd meal Entrees include White rice, other two rice options will add +$1.00 The masks do interfere with communications with staff whose English is obviously not their native language.. Iced-Tea is surprisingly good. I did like the Hot ' n Sour Soup flavor but would prefer more "solids". The fried rice was pretty bland. For the 1st time ever, I ordered Kung Pao Beef.. With this entree, they provide a v. generous portion of (tender Med-rare?) sliced beef, but devoid of vegetables. Upon request, they did substitute Cashews (plenty) for peanuts. I do like spicy, but I did not care for this sauce;. I have nothing to compare to; you decide. They offer delivery, pick-up and sit-down service. NO in-storee WiFi read more

We've eaten in and ordered delivery from here a few times. When it first opened, the food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Over the last year the quality of the food has severely declined. More than once our delivery order was missing items and/or incorrect. Dining in (more recently) has not resulted in better meals. Unfortunately, I'm no longer excited to have them nearby. read more

This place is great. Menu is the same as T-Jin's(also great) and the food tastes the same. It's closer to my house so that's why I choose this location. The food is great, and the service is fantastic here as well. Even when busy you can expect to get pretty good service. We eat from here at least once every 2 weeks and I'd recommend it if you like this style of "Chinese food". read more

I've ordered Kung Pao Triple (Chicken, beef, and shrimp) Delight on the lunch menu and couldn't believe they use jumbo-sized shrimps on lunch items. Food came out very quickly and it was fresh and delicious. Staffs were friendly and professional. I hope we have a Chinese restaurant like them in Katy, TX. I will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and will definitely go back to try out all other dishes. read more

If I could give no stars I would. We were greeted at the door of an empty restaurant. No hello or welcome, just a point to hand sanitizer and told to clean our hands. Waitress rushed us through getting our order. Had to ask repeatedly for sauce, etc. Dumplings were hard and overcooked. Beef and broccoli was swimming in too much sauce. If you are afraid to serve customers please close your restaurant or offer delivery only. Noticed team was drying and sorting silverware but not wearing gloves. Seems a bit of a conflict to all of the masks and gloves for sale at the front door. This is our last visit to Bao's. read more

I understand we are in Covid and I do take this into consideration. But this doesn't give the restaurant a free pass to cook up food and not try the food to make sure it's prepared properly. This was my first time to try and we got a togo order. We had crab Rangoon's they light tan not golden brown and weren't cooked thoroughly. The fried rice was still firm it was brown but under cooked. There were burnt spots in the rice. I guess I'm use to Hunan Garden in Rosenberg off of 90. If the cooks at Bao's could go and eat and taste the food there. They have been in business many, many years. They would learn how to cook food Chinese food. I am not trying to be mean but I think some of these restaurants are just out for your money and do not try the food for quality control. Because soon they will run out of first time customers and then they won't be in business. Also they tried to enhance their food's flavor. They dumped a lot of MSG into their food. Which gives us a headache immediately after eating the food. I hope the owners and cooks review this to improve their food quality. read more
