I have been working with the care providers here for several weeks now…read more I have been working on recovering from a series of back, neck, and head injuries for several years now. My spine was finally healed enough to go back to working out, and I wanted to find a therapist who could work with me to rebuild the muscles to support my back and neck now that everything moving back in place. I primarily work with Kevin, and I have been very happy so far. I am seeing progress without overdoing it (Which is important for reducing recovery time after each workout). I am a competitive dancer, and my teammates and practice partner have commented on the difference they are seeing after just a few weeks. I have confidence in his ability to form a treatment plan for me, and I am happy that he listens to any additional personal goals that I have for the sessions. The office staff is friendly and welcoming. They are easy to work with call man and they are good about communicating with me. Everyone that I've worked with on the PT floor has been super friendly and helpful as well. My experience so far has been very positive, and I look forward to finishing out my sessions.

The staff is friendly, professional, and truly caring--they make you feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire recovery process. Highly recommend to anyone in need of quality care!

Eric and his team have been working with my client and her family for years, and when I came into the picture, I tagged along to shadow Eric's work. I was fascinated by the care, skill, and professionalism that was taking place. Immediately I knew my client, after her broken tib/fib (10mos) treatment, had been in great hands, and it really had shown through her results. She and I have been able to progress her recovery at lightning speed, which made both her and myself very happy! Eric and Sarah and the crew have done an amazing job, and it's very easy to see the reason for their success. They care about the patient, the community, and the process, and their access to a gym facility makes them second to none. Thank you IPT for all the work you've done in having such a great Impact on my client's lives!!!

Impact Physical Therapy has been amazing so far. I was in an accident that left me with several…read moreinjuries, and being in my third trimester of pregnancy has made getting treatment extra tricky. A lot of places either don't have experience treating pregnant women or are super limited in what they'll actually do, which can be really frustrating, even with my OB's approval. I was going to another PT place before this and honestly felt kind of hopeless. They weren't very personable or confident, and I felt like they were too scared to touch me, like I just had to wait until after I gave birth to get real help. I knew I was capable of doing more and wasn't improving at all, it was starting to take a toll on my mental health. Deciding to switch to Impact was the best move I could've made. The care here is night and day. You actually work with physical therapists one-on-one, not just techs, and everyone is super friendly, professional, and knows what they're doing. They offer a bunch of holistic treatment options like cupping, massage, dry needling, stretching, and strength work. I've only been going a little over a week, and already I feel so much more hopeful. I'm willing to do the work, I just needed the right guidance, and they've absolutely given me that. They don't treat me like I'm fragile or extremely limited just because I'm pregnant, and that means so much. I'm excited to keep going and finally feel like I'm on the right path to recovery.

I initially thought as a trail runner I had a slight tear in my hamstring, but thought that to be unlikely as I did not have a hard workout the weekend prior. I saw my primary care physician who referred me to Empower PT. Their office is conveniently located right off 59th Ave. close to the 101. Tons of ample parking and easy to find in a relatively large medical complex. I was contacted immediately once my referral was received and scheduled 1 day later. Their lobby / entryway is super clean and spacious. All of my info was at the front desk and they were ready to begin assisting me! I was introduced to Nikki Czekaj, my physical therapist. She took soooo much time to listen to me about my injury. She knew exactly what was going on iny body and her plan of attack to assist me getting back to 100% and back on the trails. She took time to explain the exercises, we did them together and she even did conservative light massage efforts and stretches. I've been to a physical therapist in the past where they print out some exercises and put you on a stationary bike or treadmill with no hands-on. Heck, the last PT I went to at another local clinic three years ago didn't even touch me! Nikki at Empower PT was the exact opposite and helped me incredibly. If it were not for her, I would not be anywhere near the condition I am right now. Nikki said 6 to 8 weeks before I'm likely back to feeling 100%. I'm heading into week 7 and am soooo close to being at the same condition I was prior to my injury in early-February. Aside from some numbness in my right hamstring, I am pain-free. I ran /walked for 80-min. yesterday and did approx. 5.3 mi. This doesn't sound earth-shattering, but 7 weeks ago I could hardly walk nor stand due to the pain shooting down both hamstrings. I am no longer seeing Nikki as she stated time will inevitably heal the numbness making it subside. I cannot thank her and the entire staff at Empower PT for their solid execution for the care I received. No scheduling issues. No billing issues. No referral issues. Highly recommended if you're a local athlete in need of physical therapy!

But, if you want to be treated like you're a human being with feelings & physical pain that needs actual, legitimate treatment, I would highly recommend ATI PT. I had a wonderful session with them. At least they remember their hippocratic oath over there. It was so lovely to be seen as a human being & treated accordingly with dignity & respect. If thats what you want, then go to ATI PT, which is conveniently located closer to the CVS. But, as I said, if you're looking for unfair & off the charts personal judgment, some sort of drama behind the scenes that impacts their ability to remain professional & endless pain that they can't figure out because they don't actually want to touch you & do their job, then Empower PT is perfect for you! Enjoy!

I was diagnosed with a serious neurological condition, and was in very bad shape mentally and physically. I didn't have much hope that things would ever get better for me, and when I tried to look into the future, all I could see was a dark void. I was over-prescribed with opiates, and many other types of pharmaceutical medication. I was told to go to PT by my doctor, and I reluctantly went. On my first session, I sat down with Bree, who was my Physical Therapist. She took the time to listen to me, where I've come from, what I've been dealing with, and my current state overall. She was so helpful in providing that first foundational step in the spinning chaos of my world, and it allowed me to focus on taking that second step, one after another. My doctors to that point had told me that they were not hopeful I'd ever get better, and that I might consider that THIS was the best it would ever be for me. Bree never had that mindset, and never even considered that I wouldn't improve. She believed in me when nobody else did, including myself. I dove in to our sessions, and looked forward to each of them - her sessions providing me the structure that I slowly built the rest of my week around. I truly believe that she saved my life, and I'll forever be grateful to her. Even more so, my experience was not singular. The entire clinic thrives when she's in the building, and the feeling lingers after she's gone home for the day. People - both coworkers and patients - feed off her energy. This is even more powerful when you consider that Bree has her own challenges, her own life, her own obstacles. She is the kind of rare selfless giver that never seems tire or allow outside issues effect her clinical environment. I love Bree, and I truly think you will too. She runs on a steady diet of Sunshine and Taco Bell, and can turn even a bleak situation to seem lighthearted. I've never been to a Clinic and heard the kind of laughter that I hear in her space. It's really amazing. As far as the specifics of the work done, I think her approach of using all available techniques really pays dividends. We've done the standard stretching, weight training, warm up/cool down, and exercise. We've also done stimulation with TENS units and heat/cold, ultrasound, and massage. My favorite is definitely the Dry Needling, and I pride myself on being her pincushion. She is so magical with her needling, and it stimulates the endorphin production that makes you feel wonderful, and I always feel compelled to give her a hug once my neurotransmitters are firing. Please take the time to meet with ATI Arrowhead. You deserve it, and you'll be better for it. Good luck to all of you in your recovery and your journey to your Best Self.
