Impact Physical Therapy has been amazing so far. I was in an accident that left me with several…read moreinjuries, and being in my third trimester of pregnancy has made getting treatment extra tricky. A lot of places either don't have experience treating pregnant women or are super limited in what they'll actually do, which can be really frustrating, even with my OB's approval. I was going to another PT place before this and honestly felt kind of hopeless. They weren't very personable or confident, and I felt like they were too scared to touch me, like I just had to wait until after I gave birth to get real help. I knew I was capable of doing more and wasn't improving at all, it was starting to take a toll on my mental health. Deciding to switch to Impact was the best move I could've made. The care here is night and day. You actually work with physical therapists one-on-one, not just techs, and everyone is super friendly, professional, and knows what they're doing. They offer a bunch of holistic treatment options like cupping, massage, dry needling, stretching, and strength work. I've only been going a little over a week, and already I feel so much more hopeful. I'm willing to do the work, I just needed the right guidance, and they've absolutely given me that. They don't treat me like I'm fragile or extremely limited just because I'm pregnant, and that means so much. I'm excited to keep going and finally feel like I'm on the right path to recovery.

Long gone are the days when my hormones were once raging and I felt as if my body were invincible…read more In college I didn't work out as much as I should have and replaced my exercising with eating greasy food and considering taking the stairs as my form of exercise. That's too bad my extreme stair-climbing did not work out my lower back. Sometime in the spring I threw out my back. It was awful. I'm almost 23 and I hated being "that guy" who was always complaining about my sore back. Couldn't do this, couldn't do that, I just wanted to eat Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey and watch Netflix. It was a dark time. My girlfriend told me I should do something about it rather than rely on the 300+ calorie, pint-sized medicinal ice cream to eventually work. I eventually came to the good people at Arrowhead Physical Therapy. The first day they showed me two stretches that would help. And they did. I saw them for about two months over the summer once a week doing new stretches and ice packs. I had a chance to work with (almost) the entire staff and everyone was patient and had a way to easily explain the stretches in layman's term or would get on the table next to me and show me how to properly do the stretches. I was probably healed in less than two months but continued to go because I have bad luck and probably would have thrown my back out again as soon as I left. Upon "graduating" I received a commemorative water bottle and tee shirt to remind me how awesome it was to actually get back into physical activity; the guy at the rock gym noticed I hadn't been there in a while. I still miss those Chunky Monkey days though. Perhaps if I am lucky enough to throw another muscle out I'll certainly be back.

Went to this location ONLY BECAUSE it was close to my house. After my 1st visit with a Certified…read morePhysical Therapist, I never saw him again. My next 7 visits were held with an student advisor with everyone located in one BIG room. All they know how to do is give you written exercises to do at home. They put you through another set of exercises on each visit, none of which helped with my pain. I guess if I had them for another month (at my insurance's expense) something might have helped but I doubt it. I feel all they care about is seeing how many people for how long they can collect money from. As far as I'm concerned all they care about is getting your $$$$$.

I understand the five stars, and I'm so glad that I did. It was easy to schedule, they take close to every insurance, and they have a reasonable self pay option that is awesome to offer. They also offer massages there which is really wonderful. The appointment was for my son, and the front desk was able to get us into a cancellation pretty promptly (which I was so excited about) and when we got there, we filled out paperwork and went back within 10 min. Alex is who saw him and he was easy going, easy to talk to, and made my son feel comfortable, which is so important to both of us. He did some dry needling on him also and I think that helped a ton. We're seeing Alex a few times before the New Year and see how his progress goes. Overall, very pleased and appreciative of the care and communication from this practice. Thank you so much to Alex and his team!!
