My training at the Thunderbird & 83rd location kindly let me know when I completed all my sessions. The kicker about this all is that I did my due diligence and emailed my request to EOS (memberservices@eosfitness.com) on March 19th and ABC Fitness Solutions responded. WHY?? ABC Fitness says they can't cancel training packages. Why are they responding/ have access to the facilities' email??!! I spoke with the manager on 3/20/2023 at the Thunderbird & 83rd location and was told I would only be charged twice and after that no more. Why the hell am I being charged $76 x4 after that?! I'm not even using the service. I don't like dishonest, misleading business practices at all. It's straight up fraudulent to financially benefit off service not being provided to the consumer. I strongly feel like dissolving the whole business relationship at this point. I will be going to EOS location first thing in the morning and I'm not playing. The email I sent to EOS in March 2023, them extra charges, and the agreement is on file. I only thing I'm interested in hearing is the solution that's it!

Rating: (1/5 Stars)…read more Unacceptable Facility Maintenance and Poor Management The primary reason I pay a premium for a membership at this location is for the recovery amenities, specifically the sauna. It has now been completely out of order for over a full month. Here is the exact reality of the situation: Zero Urgency A facility of this size should have a commercial HVAC technician out within 48 hours. Letting a core amenity sit dead for 30+ days shows a complete lack of operational management. Zero Communication:There have been no transparent updates or timelines provided to the members regarding when this will actually be fixed. Zero Compensation: We are all continuing to pay 100% full price for our monthly membership dues while missing out on the primary tools required for our physical recovery protocols. If you take your training and joint recovery seriously, or if you simply expect a business to actually provide the amenities they advertise and charge you for, look elsewhere. Until the sauna is fixed and management figures out how to maintain their own building, this place is not worth the monthly fee.

My trainer, Jonnie, listened to understand my goals and created a customized program without going so far as to make me want to give up like it's unobtainable. They've helped me improve my form, build strength, and stay motivated. The progress I've seen has been exactly what I was looking for--I'm lifting heavier, moving better, and feeling stronger, just feeling healthier in general- could be the meal plan they give you too ‍ The group classes are another awesome sales point that got me in. Whether it's HIIT or strength training sessions, the instructors are motivating, knowledgeable, and fun. The classes are challenging for all different fitness levels, and the music and energy keep everyone engaged. A lot of the same people consistently go to the classes so you build a gym community and that adds a little accountability to it all; they make working out feel less like a chore and more like getting together with friends, even if I don't know much about them. What truly makes this gym stand out, though, is the social atmosphere. People here are genuinely friendly and open. When someone recognizes you from previous workouts, they actually say hi and chat for a minute instead of just looking away or pretending not to notice. It creates such a community feel. The staff are all great too. The facility is clean, well-equipped, the price point is palatable, especially for having classes and all included, and people are friendly. Not much more you could ask for.

I love how friendly and personable everyone is every time I walk in - the owner, front desk ladies, and the instructors! Everything about this place is amazing and I love being a member of something like this! Update: I also love that it has a play lounge for my daughter to come join me, we make it a little girls time in our day! And I love that she has a view of me (always wondering what I'm doing) and it piques her curiosity for mindful movements and at home wants to learn some of what she sees me do in class. I was recommended by a friend to try Fitness 1 due to the quality of equipment as well as the old school atmosphere. The communication with Chad prior to visiting was great. He welcomed me when I came in and showed me around the gym, explaining how it was laid out and where I can find certain pieces of equipment. This included equipment like the pendulum squat, which can't be found in most commercial gyms. He also showed me where much of the power lifting equipment was and even discussed the childcare. I spent the next 90 minutes using amazing equipment such as Rogue, Precor, and my personal favorite, Arsenal. The culture in the gym was great. Everyone was working towards their own personal goals, all while supporting and assisting each other. They were even being spotters for others in the gym who they did not know, but supported nevertheless. Other gymgoers were not playing on their phones or hanging out in the gym, showing they were all there for a reason. After a good 90 minute workout, I went back and spoke to Chad. I told him I wanted to get a membership, paying for an entire year up front. Chad was able to do all this without pressuring me at all, which seems to be uncommon in the gym world. He lets the gym and the culture the staff at Fitness 1 has created, along with others in the gym, sell the product. All of this came with no hidden fees, which is just icing on the cake.
