I came here with my friends and her family. Haven't been to a Golden Corral in years!! But I really…read morelike the added sections taco and baked potato!! The corn wasn't so great, I think from being under the warmer for a while. But overall, it was pretty good. The server was awesome! I forgot her name but very nice and fast!! She was on top of it. The place looks like it needs a bit more cleaning. Especially around the ice cream corner. Why is it always wet?

When the extended, extended family arrives in town for any reason, Golden Corral pops to the top of our list. Bountiful variety, buffet pricing, long tables, service enough to keep everyone decently satisfied with extra napkins, drink refills, take away used plates and the other small needs of a table full of diners of all ages. March 29th, 2026 a herd of humans gathered to feast. A Sunday, the after church crowd was present in their finery. Other families were in for a Sunday supper. Our crowd gathered from Albuquerque, Northeast Arizona, Deer Valley, Central Phoenix and? Remembering our deceased. I sat next to a lovely woman in her 70's, and two seats away from a six year old. My modest beginnings of spiced beans, cornbread and select salad parts was ultimately supplemented and completed by wings, mashed potators and greens from my left, and a hot dog with one bite gone and a giant helping of mac and cheese. The six year old ran off with my frozen yogurt cone. Such is life. Our service was excellent, a young woman successfuly dealing with her crowded section of The Corral. Our last time here was pre-Covid. Prices are higher, crowds are crowder, the busy food steam and other trays emptird and filled from the busy kitchen. Will we return? I am sure we will.

Thank you very my Nicole for your warm welcome and attentive service, and with a smile no…read moredoubt~this restaurant was clean, family oriented, and ready for a busy mid day round. My hubby ordered a huge Belgian waffle with eggs made exactly to his liking, with home fries and sausage. Coffee was hot and my cup never empty. I had the fish plate with zucchini, cottage cheese, side salad and a dinner roll. They are big portions and everything was hot and cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be back. P.s. I forgot to take pics of everything when it arrived...but here's what I did capture.....of what was left. I'm full - completely....thank you Country Boy's and Nicole ~

Service was pretty good in terms of care and getting me the food I desired. The only problem I had was when I looked online the prices on their menu was different than what I was charged. When I addressed the concern I was just told menu prices changed. I did mention online is what I ordered based off of and showed the price and mentioned some people may come in and not be able to afford the difference and planned ahead to eat here. I felt they should have honored the price online. But they didn't. Overall the burger was good and so was the peaches but I wouldn't go back because i felt I didn't know what to expect to pay and I had a budget to stay within. Ambience inside was cool. Reminded me of old school dinner.

Those people got unseasoned, undercooked food. No salt at the table and their waiter would be so rude and aggressive, you were afraid to ask for some. (Clearly intentional.) After a while, friends from the office would go just to report back so we'd all have a laugh about it. Tragic history. Crazy experience. Welcome to Phoenix. At least you have a story to tell.

Popped in before a Suns game, an easy walk past Chase Field. It was good to get away from the usual pregame options. The place was clean and inviting, and had a little bit of a "back in time" feel without being dated. Quickly and pleasantly welcomed and seated. Then came the hard part, making choices. We had fried chicken and fried catfish, with sides of Mac and Cheese, macaroni salad (yep, Mac two ways), greens and mashed potatoes with gravy. All were great, obviously home made from longstanding recipes. Especially into the greens, which were bursting with flavor. The catfish was delish, and my wife called the fried chicken the best she ever had. Saved room for peach cobbler, which was served smoking hot. The perfect sweet end to the savory meal. Next time I'm all in on pork chops, which looked amazing. And we will come on a Sunday, the only day dressing is available as a side option. If you're looking for a meal that feels like a friend had you over for supper, go here! Thanks Mrs. White's family!
