Bangkok Wasabi - Spring Rolls - Thai Near Me - Orem, Utah

Best little secret in Orem! Atmosphere is a fun mix of Thailand and Japan (loved the cute umbrellas on the ceiling and the cherry blossom trees ). More importantly both Food and Service are GREAT! We've gone to multiple Thai places across the valley and so far this is my favorite. I'm the first to admit I'm not a big sashimi fan but I do enjoy a good fried roll and I LOVE their Go Rebel Roll- (shrimp tempura, crab, cream cheese, avocado, with eel sauce and spicy mayo) and presentation was on point. We had someone who said they didn't like sushi and tried a piece and was converted on the spot. The fish in the Pla Rad Plik was prepared perfectly and the sweet spicy sauce was so delicious we ate it with other dishes, too. Be advised- spice levels are typical Thai levels where mild still has a kick. Someone ordered the Mussaman curry with tofu and they practically licked the bowl. Rice was quality and served in a pretty silver tureen. I had the Pad Kee Mao w/ chicken and it was also very well prepared with lots of Thai basil, onions, and the perfect amount of spice. They have an extensive menu that's reasonably priced, especially for the quality. The chef/owner is a darling sweet lady who came out both times to thank us and gave us hugs! She genuinely cares about pleasing her customers which is kind of a rare thing days. Restaurant was very clean and our sweet waiters always greet you with the Wai and a smile. This place is a gem ! read more

Bangkok Wasabi - Go Rebel Roll and Pla Rad Prik (fried fish with spicy pineapple sauce) - Thai Near Me - Orem, Utah

Best customer service of any restaurant in the area! Great quality food with enough options to please the whole family. We get take-out here all the time. My one wish is for them to add panang curry to the menu. read more

Not sure if this place is even worth one star. Not sure how anyone could have possibly had a five start experience . I got some fried rice which had almost no flavor and tasted like it was microwaved. I also got the sushi which didn't taste fresh at all. Don't come read more

Food is so fresh and service is top tier. I love their big but easy sushi roll & their Thai soup. Crab rangoons are our fave app. You cannot beat their lunch specials everything is 40-70% off and comes with soup and egg roll or pot sticker. Ok folks I'm a picky Thai food person and let me just say buckle up. This Thai food was extraordinarily FANTASTIC! And FRESH! The restaurant was spotless. The service was so amazing I felt like a celebrity. I'm not lying. Get your date and go here. It's your new favorite Thai restaurant and you don't even know it. Pad Thai was unreal also. So unreal I forgot to take a picture before we ate it. read more

We were looking for somewhere good on Yelp and love sushi and saw the 5 star rating and wanted to try it for ourselves. This is one of the few places where we agree with the rating. The food was delicious (chicken yellow curry, salmon baked roll, crunch roll and spicy California roll) and it was all fresh and well done, cost was $53. The service sealed the deal as they are very happy you're there (a rarity these days) and the experience overall was excellent. We will be coming back and recommend it to everyone! read more

We enjoy this relatively new place to get both Thai and sushi. The food is excellent across the board and prices reasonable, but be aware that service can be pretty slow, especially in the evening and on weekends. That said, the presentation is beautiful and the food is always worth the wait! read more

Grabbed lunch here with some family in town. The service was excellent and the decor modern and classy. I'll definitely keep Bangkok Wasabi in mind when the hankering hits. read more

Bangkok Wasabi was yummy. Everything we ordered was good quality. Its not like mind blowing fine dining level, but its all very solid. Our table had Sushi Rolls, Sashimi Dinner, beef pad Thai, orange chicken, salmon with lemon sauce. All yummy! What takes Bangkok Wasabi next level and why I'm giving 5 stars. It's the level of service and the care they put into your dishes and experience. They are so nice! So on the ball. Well trained. And the restaurant is clean and well designed. Highly recommend for groups, a casual date with the wife or a first date. read more

The food here is AMAZING with authentic flavors! The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and right on top of filling waters and soda. We didn't have to wait very long for our food at all. The food, service and atmosphere are all amazing Peter and Lisa (the owners) are the nicest and their food is better than anything I've ever had. Every curry is amazing and the Pad Thai is to die for. Don't even get me started on the sushi it's so freaking good. Favorite sushi rolls: Mango roll Sunny Cali roll Strawberry kiwi roll Every menu item I have tried here was delicious and I highly recommend this place for any Thai or Sushi lover read more

What a find! Great flavors and textures. The light, bright and casual environment was so refreshing vs the dark, quiet, typical Thai hole in the wall. Everyone was warm, helpful, and courteous without being overbearing. The coconut shrimp was so tender and yet perfectly crisp on the outside. The spicy tuna roll was generous, and nicely-presented. The massaman curry was flavorful and loaded with chicken. We have a new favorite destination in Orem. Looking forward to coming back and bringing some friends read more

This is the best sushi I've had in Utah, and I've had it all over! It could even hold up to some of the California sushi I used to eat. This was also THE best service we've ever had in the state. All of the waiters and chefs were friendly, polite, respectful, and just on top of it! We were super impressed and are happy to find a fantastic sushi place to add to the rotation! We have tried so many others in the area only to be disappointed. Not here! The presentation was better than fancy places we paid 2-3x per roll in SLC (and tasted way better too). We also tried some of the Thai food, that was delicious as well. I can't wait to try another Thai dish and more rolls when we come back! read more

Bangkok Wasabi - Dragon Roll, Rock N' Roll, Kiss of Fire Roll - Thai Near Me - Orem, Utah

We ordered the Singapore noodles and I appreciated how large the shrimp were. We also ordered the yellow curry. All of it was delicious! We had mango sticky rice for dessert and the preparation method was the most authentic we found in the valley. It was stickier than a typical American Thai restaurant and we especially liked the flavor the addition of the sesame seeds gave. read more

This is a fairly new restaurant and one you should try out. We've eaten here several times and loved everything! The decor is new, clean, and pretty. The servers are very attentive and the food is fabulous. Not only is it delicious, but it's pretty! Make sure to stop by and try the salmon!! read more

My two favorite foods: sushi and Thai! This is definitely the best place for quality food in Utah county. The massaman curry was aromatic and the chicken was tender. The sushi was probably the best I've had in Utah county. I watched the sushi chef prepare it and she was very attentive and detailed with the process of making it which is good because one roll costs almost $14 which is expensive even for my California standards. The restaurant is big and clean. Plenty of space to enjoy a nice dinner with family. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the waiter. He was amazing! His attentiveness ensured I had everything I needed in a timely manner to enjoy my meal. read more

This place was recommended to me by my brother in law. I will tell you it did NOT disappoint! The service was outstanding! And it's very clean. We will definitely be going back. read more

Went here for a last dinner with the family before leaving, during a snowstorm no less. What a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, very fresh and tasty. I got the chicken Thai fried rice level 2 spicy (which I would have gone to 3 but I was sharing) and the Alaskan roll, my family got a lot of other food which disappeared fairly quickly. The service was absolutely amazing, I'm sad I don't live here cause I would definitely make this a frequent thing. The ambiance was amazing as-well, clean and welcoming. Just all around a great way to end this vacation. if you're looking for a nice dinner spot for any occasion I couldn't recommend this place enough! read more

Our dining experience here was better than most places. The staff was very kind and polite, and the food was so delicious. For an appetizer we got something like white tuna sashimi, what ever it was called I wanted more. For the main dish I got the pad Thai with shrimp and my wife got beef waterfall. Both were amazing. The Diet Coke from the fountain was dialed! The only weird thing was the appetizer came after the meal... but when it tasted so dang good I got over it. read more
