Sitting here, eating my pad Thai lunch special and writing my review. 3 stars because the food is quite good with decent pricing. That being said, service is extremely slow, the servers hardly speak to you, and the hours are all over the place. Half the time they're closed during their open hours. As well. My prawn pad Thai had only 2 prawns in it. Will continue to dine here as the food is good and it's the only Thai restaurant close enough to my work to go on my lunch break, but seriously guys? I included the picture of my pad Thai with the 2 lone prawn tails

Love this place! Great service and great tasting curries. They are very accommodating to gluten free diners. Keep up the great work!

Red curry wasn't bad, not impressed with the portion size for lunch. Wish they had yellow curry.

    Review Highlights - Bangkok Kitchen

I've had both the Red and Green Curries, which are great, but the Pad Thai is my go to.

What a wonderful Thai restaurant in the downtown core of Langley! I made a reservation for a group…read moreto celebrate a graduation, and the staff were very communicative about their table layouts and what they could do for us. It was quite busy on a Monday evening, which makes me think it would be even more packed on a weekend. For that reason I would definitely recommend making reservations! The restaurant has a lot of dark wood, which isn't a bad vibe, but it doesn't make for the brightest, most welcoming atmosphere. Now for the food: excellent flavors! I thought the pad Thai was among the best I've had in the lower mainland, and the BBQ duck lychee curry was both sweet and wonderfully smoky and savory. The prik khing stir fry had lovely crunchy green beans and hearty tofu. And the biggest thing to note: the portion sizes. The dishes are expensive, but you WILL have leftovers. Just think of it as you paying for 2 meals with one dish! Great spot for group dining, but definitely call ahead and empty a spot in your fridge for what you'll be taking home!

Honestly, pretty underwhelming. The Thai iced tea was good and the pork skewers were tasty, but…read morethat's about where it ends. The fried rice was mushy, the pad thai was bland and forgettable, and the Thai basil chicken was way off -- overloaded with veggies, barely any basil, and absolutely no spice even though we asked for spicy. For a Thai restaurant, I expected more authentic flavors. Not worth coming back. Server always keep checking on you tho! The ambiance was homey and authentic too

Ordering was super easy and the food came out fast. I ordered two #8 banh mi which is the classic banh mi that comes with 2 viet ham and pate. This is more of the traditional banh mi you see. I liked that Obanhmi also has a variety of other flavors including chicken lemongrass, beef sate, etc. Within the shop, there is a little bit of seating if you choose to sit inside and eat. The overall ambiance is cute for this small shop. I really like the newspaper wallpaper that incorporates the history of the banh mi. The banh mi itself was delicious. The toppings on top (cilantro, pickled vegetables, etc.) helped to add a nice crunch and helped to balance the whole entire sandwich. It was a good ratio of vegetables to meat to bread. Obanhmi is definitely is a solid option if you're in the area to get a banh mi!

They have different options for banh mi than I've seen before; honey garlic chicken + beef sate. Just the right amount of sauce. The Vietnamese coffee was pre made mixture, which tasted okay but fresh would be better. I get it though it's a fast food style place. They don't give you a plate so when you sit down it's in a paper bag cover and all your French breadcrumbs will fall on the table. It's very small inside but has a few tables to sit in and eat. The service is friendly and while I was their the customers steadily trickled in. Will definitely go back!!

First red flag. $60 of Thai food is NOT cooked fresh in under 10 mins. So we googled. This is a mall kiosk, NOT a restaurant. Worse yet, the mall has been closed for 2 1/2 hours. Second red flag. The food was hot and lots of it, so value wise for the amount was ok. Opened it up, peanut sauce that's commercially made "For Thai Express". How hard is it to make good, fresh peanut sauce? This stuff is peanut-sauce-LIKE at best. A kind-of peanut flavour gelatinous goop. (See pic) Tried to un-wrap a "wrap". I use the term "wrap" loosely. Almost as loosely as the wrap. The rice paper didn't even wrap all the way around, and was stuck to the cling wrap. It tastes ok, but has to be eaten with a fork. (see pic). The mains were all quite obviously left-overs from the day of sitting in the mall food court, and had a bit of an odd let's call it an 'aroma'. The items in it that were deep fried were soft and slimy, not crisp and fresh (at least not for a few hours). Out of 3 mains, one was eaten half, one was eaten a few fork fulls, and the last was 2 fork fulls (chicken. Does NOT smell right). It's your choice, but I would move on if I were you.
