#35 Cashews ( Pad Mamuang) #55 Drunken Noodle

Quality of food is always consistent. I've been going here for a few years now. The staff are hardworking and very friendly. Seems to do a lot of take out so it's not usually busy to dine in. It's also very clean! I typically order the same things because I love them so much. I tried their Thai iced coffee for the first time and it was strong! My drunken noodles with chicken is perfectly seasoned and they always give lots of cashews with the chicken. Definitely try this place out :)

Skeptical at first due to this restaurant's location, but when you walk in, you are greeted by the friendly staff, maybe owner and although it doesn't look like much this restaurant served some of the best Thai dishes I have tried. Delicious, exotic and full of spices! Relaxed ambiance with some traditional music. I would highly recommend!

I've been here many times/years ago when this was strictly Thai restaurant. Now it's more of southeast Asian cuisine and I really like it. Their prices are much better compared to other similar places in the area. In particular; the Kao Piek (which is chicken soup with homemade noodles topped with crunchy scallions, cilantro and ginger) is outstanding. This soup is the perfect warm comforting meal. Also tried the app sampler and everything was delicious. And Bubble tea. Seems like they've really made themselves stand out. I ordered delivery and prices were 5% lower than other places with the same food.

A good place for pho at a very good price $12.. Everything we have had has been tasty. They have both Thai and Laos style papaya salad. I prefer the Thai. The staff is very friendly.

We love this place and finding out I had never reviewed it I knew that needed to be changed. I love the homey feel low lit ambiance with the very attentive and friendly staff. The head waitress is a bubble of energy as well as great at recommending dishes when you're looking for the most authentic tastes. My go-to drink is a coconut bubble tea so of course I started there. We had the curry puffs, chicken larb salad and Tom ka gai soup. My only drawback was the chicken larb because I did not expect the chicken to be cold so I was off put. It was delicious just as everything else was, I'm just not a cold chicken eater. The curry puffs are simply devine and the accompanying sauce I could just drink. The Tom ka gai soup was perfect. Coconut lemongrass cilantro scallion and tender slices of chicken with chunked mushroom. The marrying of flavors in a myriad tapestry across the tongue. For our entree we wanted duck which is on the special board at the front and I'm assuming not many people order it as it's not posted on any of the table menus. We love duck and the crispy sweet crunchy yet tender way they prepare it is one of the best. We ended up with Mongolian duck and I think it's going to be our go to every time. The sauce is sweet yet spicy and also a gravy type consistency for loose gravy. The vegetables were perfectly cooked with the right amount of bite.

Just recently returned from Thailand and I was craving some Chicken Satay and Peanut Sauce and I came across Bangkok. They had the same items I saw out in Thailand - a little more Americanized with some of the spices. The Chicken Satay was great, awesome thick peanut sauce to pair. I ordered a chicken & pineapple fried rice and spring rolls. Delicious!! The atmosphere when I arrived was quiet, dark, and peaceful. A lot of colorful decoration and cool table settings. I definitely would like to sit and dine here one day soon.

The article references the Savoy Hotel, Danny Meyer's hospitality group, "the pursuit of excellence," and repeated commitments to quality and consistency. So I thought perhaps, at long last, the espresso situation had been resolved. Reader, it had not. I ordered a Cortado to stay. "Would you like that in a mug for here or a paper cup?" An encouraging start. I then positioned myself beside the espresso machine like a wildlife documentarian returning to observe a rare but persistent behavioral phenomenon. The barista dosed the portafilter, then tamped the coffee while holding the portafilter in midair, applying what appeared to be approximately the amount of pressure required to test whether an avocado is ripe. He locked it into the machine and pressed start. Brown liquid immediately exploded from the spouts with absolutely no delay whatsoever. The shot was over in roughly four seconds. For those unfamiliar with espresso, this is generally considered suboptimal. The resulting Cortado tasted primarily of hot milk and faintly burnt coffee sadness. After two and a half confirmation sips, I quietly left the remainder on the counter and departed. At this point I no longer review Ross's espresso. I monitor it.

I will say it can get quite loud in there when full which it was on a Saturday night. We shared a salad to start- it was some sort of winter salad with spinach. For mains he got a steak- the steak itself was well cooked and flavorful. The mashed potatoes normally his favorite side were quite bland. He had me try them and I agreed. I ordered the mushroom ravioli. I went to take my first bite however and found they'd brought out the lobster ravioli instead. After awhile of waiting they brought out the correct meal. They did comp the ravioli which was very nice and aside from the small mix up we had great service throughout. We'll definitely come back but it is pricier than our average meal out. Hoping to try their brunch soon!

Waiter was friendly and gave us some time to make our selections. I chose the egg roll, tangerine beef. Hubby chose the orange chicken. I asked the waiter if the soda came in a can. He said yes. We then waited for our meal. He returned quickly with my soda, in a glass with lots of ice. Not what I expected. But I guess I wasn't specific about my drink order. My egg roll was good. Cut decoratively in half at an angle, piping hot. Our food arrived shortly. Both plates were generous and came with white rice. Cut a portion in small pieces to taste with rice. Tasted so good, burned my tongue a little it was so hot. Ate a bit more, and that's when my mouth started burning up! The dish was a little more spicy than I expected. Tried to eat more, but it was too much for me. My hubby on the other hand was in his glory. He Loves heat. The spiciest the better. He tried mine and said it was just as spicy as his, which he loved. So, I just thought we would take mine home for him to enjoy later. I have to say it was good, before I had to cry uncle. So would definitely have to return for another try and let them know I can't take the spiciness. I did notice that the restaurant was busy with takeout orders. So I guess that's their main business. So I wouldn't say this was a cozy place. But the food is good. Lots of parking outside since they're next to a supermarket and liquor store. There weren't any 'lunch' specials, so this was over $50 with tip. By the way, lots to choose from the menu. I only took pictures of some pages.

We went at 5:30 expecting to wait because it was small and "cozy" and it was Chinese New year. (1) no problem eating in during dinner hours (2) not a stitch of celebratory anything for Chinese New Year.. not even a place mat. No chinese noodles at the table and there was one continuous plain bench and brown tables (no table cloths) on the opposite side aka cafe style and cafeteria style seats. Hardly "cozy" at all.
