a plate of skewered food and a glass of water

Solid three. Nothing special, service 3, green curry 3, white rice 4, chicken satay 3 -. I never tried Bangkok Cuisine before because there was no island buzz about it. No friend ever suggested try it - even for a change of pace on an island with few options during the off season. The price was a tad high for the quality and portion. The service sub par. Yup, a solid 3.

green curry

We have tried this place many many years ago, and I remember my pad thai was extremely sweet, so this time I ordered different dish. My husband ordered green curry and he loved it. My dish was so so , ( misunderstood my order) as I was eating I found a pice of metal ( like coarse steel wool to wash dishes), the waiter suggested to bring another one, but no way I wanted to eat again. how it ended up in the dish ??? my dish price was removed from the bill, but I wouldn't go back.

Friendly and fast service - and large serving portions! Great spot for take out and dining in once you're tired of seafood on vacation. The dining room is small so be sure to call ahead for a reservation if you're with a big group. The fried tofu was delicious. Highly recommend the Thai iced coffee!

We ordered and paid for shrimp to be added to this dish. As you can see, the dish arrived with two shrimp.

So incredibly fresh and delicious! The best food we've had in quite some time. We weren't avid Thai food eaters before, but now we are!

Legit the BEST pad Thai my husband and I have ever had! Can't wait to go back to the cape and revisit this place.

I actually ordered takeout while I was traveling and it was such an easy ordering process. When I…read morearrived the staff were welcoming and professional. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and yellow curry with duck. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. I love that food so this meal really hit the spot! The duck was tender and flavorful. The feel and decor in the restaurant is very homely and what you would expect from a Thai restaurant. I wish there was a location close to me.

There are a lot of good Thai restaurants around Newport, RI, but Siam Square Cuisine really stands…read moreout. There's a ton to choose from on the menu. We started with the Tofu Triangle. It was good crispy, nicely cooked the sauce really was a stand out for me. Well, a few of my other family members would have preferred soy sauce but a bit pricey for what it was. Not amazing, just decent. Good portion though. Everyone at the table loved the Tom Yum soup. It's not really my thing since I don't love coconut-based soups, but everyone else was raving and said it was the best they've had. I ordered the Crispy Duck and it was the highlight of the meal. The duck tasted very fresh, and CRISPY the sauce was sweet and spicy, and the greens tasted more like baked kale than fried light, not greasy, and full of flavor. Really excellent. However, it can get quite heavy as my boyfriend really liked his food, but the sauce was a bit much for him with the heaviness of the duck so just keep that in mind I thought it was fine. I liked it so personal preference. There was a small mix-up where my food was accidentally taken away and thrown out, but the staff handled it well and made me a smaller batch to go. I was a little bummed not to get all the extra greens I'd saved, but they genuinely tried to make it right. I also kept changing my mind on my main dish once I realized something was coconut-based, and the staff was incredibly patient and kind the whole time. Great food, great service, and definitely worth coming back.

This is a beautiful shop. They have a really peaceful vibe and the girl at the counter (sorry I…read moreforgot your name) really knows the menu well; not just what the dish is made of but what really makes it different on the levels that matter, which for my mom is which noodles are rice, which have gluten, which do what in the where and I have no idea but I waited for her to get through the whole thing and we got our food. I had the Tom Kar soup and honestly it was mainly just mushrooms and broth with a couple shrimp, it's a very simple soup which O always loved, but this one just isn't as good as Krua Thai. The stir fry noodle dish is a good portion of a little light on chicken, but the way things are in 2026 who can blame the business for doing what they need to do to survive. I want to support the small shops in these hard times when I can. The spring rolls were the best part in my opinion, very light and crispy. I could honestly eat anything on a Thai menu and I'd probably love it, but the one thing that was a bit stressful is the shop refuses to print menus to look at and wants everyone to go online. They just have one small menu on the counter and my mother is 70 years old, she is too cool to carry an iphone around and the print is too small for her to read. They seem to have a bit of a take it or leave it attitude about the whole thing. Listen, some people aren't online all day, not everyone carries a 'smart'phone, and some people can't read that tiny print. If you're only going to display one menu, make it big enough for the oldies to read it. You're on Cape Cod, the biggest nursing home in the USA. You gotta cater to the oldies. Otherwise I hope they have a great summer.
