We enjoyed a few beers on the balcony as we planned out some of our adventures. The property was very clean and modern. Our suite had 1 king bed (very soft mattress) with two closets, a dresser, and a full bathroom. Another room had 2 twin beds (no windows - which was actually really nice for sleeping as it was often light out when we went to bed). We also used the pull out couch as we had 5 people in our party. It was very easy to communicate with the company via text and we really appreciated their speedy responses. We used the hot tub once, which was really nice. Make sure you make a reservation though. We used the in suite washer and dryer a few times as well. Very happy to have that! We took advantage of the parking lot, which was very easy to get to. The only thing that would have been better was another shower. Overall, LOVED this place! Highly recommend!

From the heated tile bathroom floors to full-sized organic, natural bath products, personal barbecues on the porch, a clean and large hot tub with stunning views and the perfect location to walk to town, Rundle Cliffs went above and beyond to ensure an incredible experience. The next time I come back to the Banff area I will absolutely stay here!

We stayed here in February 2026 and booked two 2-bedroom suites. Overall, we had a decent…read moreexperience with some great amenities, along with a few areas that could use improvement. The suites themselves were clean, cozy, and equipped with the typical amenities you would expect from a timeshare. Each unit had a working mini kitchen with a microwave and stove/oven, along with appliances such as a toaster and coffeemaker. Utensils, kitchenware, and bakeware were all provided, which made it easy to prepare meals. The layout worked well for our group -- each suite had one king-sized bed, one queen-sized bed, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Everything was functional and comfortable. The best part of our stay was definitely the amenities. We loved having both an indoor and outdoor hot tub. The outdoor hot tub was very popular in the evenings and was usually busy when we wanted to use it, but fortunately the indoor hot tub was available and just as enjoyable. A great surprise was the dry sauna located near the indoor hot tub. We took advantage of both daily after long days exploring Banff -- especially appreciated since temperatures during our stay ranged from -13°F to 11°F. The pool is mostly outdoors with a small indoor section that connects to it. It is slightly heated, but not very warm. Given the extremely cold February weather, it would have been much more enjoyable if the water temperature had been warmer. The location is convenient, especially being close to the Canmore area. However, the property overall feels dated and could use general updating. The hallways are quite dim and would benefit from improved lighting. There were also some frustrations with the check-in process and communication that affected our first impression. Overall, while there are areas that could be improved, we really made the most of the hot tubs and sauna -- those amenities were definitely the highlight of our winter stay.

We booked a studio here, very comfortable and close to Safeway. We will definitely visit again.read more

Absolutely do NOT waste your money. On all the booking sites they have photos that make it appear…read morequaint and decent, but it's a shanty town. I cannot fathom how these "cabins "even pass any kind of codes.... They are ramshackle and falling apart. There is a horrible musty old smell in every room and you can't open the windows. There is an old rusty fan in one of the bedrooms and while the linens might be clean, the mattresses look like they were at least 20 years old. If you're 18 and backpacking around Banff, go for it! But for anyone else stay far away ! We were charged $350CA for one night and turned around and asked for our money back - poor kid at the desk gave it back without a fuss and mentioned that our reaction is pretty common.

We got charged an extra $25 dollar cleaning fee because we have a dog. Our dog is 10lbs, non shedding and hypoallergenic...there's nothing to clean up after, but its their policy I suppose. We wouldn't have minded if our cottage was actually clean. There were several dead bugs and dirt on the floor throughout. I don't think the floors have been mopped since they were laid. I was looking forward to a hot shower after a long day of travel from Van Island but upon seeing the standup shower in the bathroom, my hubby and I both decided nope! Positives are there is a full kitchen, a wood burning fireplace, two (small) bedrooms and a nice gazebo in the main yard with pretty lights and BBQ's. At $300 a night, there are nicer places to stay in Canmore when availability isn't an issue.

The resort is very mountainous looking resort on the outside, in fact very inviting. This location is on the outskirts of the busy Canmore Town. With hiking trails to town or by the river. The staff very friendly and accommodating upon checkin. There is 2 levels of underground parking for guests. Upon arriving to our suite as we entered it was like entering a apartment full kitchen with counter seating for 4 and huge table, 2 bedrooms, 2 huge bathrooms, washer and dryer, living room with fireplace, a balcony with BBQ. Looking over the courtyard and pool. Considering how full this resort was with guests, it's very quiet inside the unit. There is a cafe connected to the resort called Black Dog Cafe. Note: stay away it's very over priced below par food with very slow service. Better off going to Tim Hortons down the road for half the price and fresh hot breakfast. There is a cute Deli called Bohemian smoked meat Czech Deli across the street highly recommend! Freshly made sandwiches and soups. In the Garden centre of all places is a Tea house with gourmet Japanese breakfast or Lunch made fresh everyday called Wagashi. This resort is very well situated amongst the mountains and away from town. Will be back in the future had a fantastic stay.
