I didn't take any pics & I wish I had because the venue is so fabulous! We went for their Neighborhood Night to promote & spread awareness for our rescue group, Old Dogs New Digs. They were so accommodating to us & so fun to work with! The food & beverage is also fabulous. I had the cider, so yummy as well as a grilled cheese. I have not had a proper grilled cheese in years and it was such a perfect, delicious treat. They also have pinball & skee ball! If you are looking for a fun night out, look no further, go to Banded Brewing! I can't wait to go back. read more

I finally got to check out Banded when I was in town for the Maine coast marathon. Really hip place with pin ball, mario cart and ping pong for entertainment. Beer was fantastic, of course but I love a brewery with character. Staff were friendly but service was slow because they only had a couple of people working. You can get pizza from next door but I highly recommend trying out their paninis/grilled cheeses. So fricken good. They have a nice merch selection too if you are in to that. read more

This is one of my new favorite breweries/bars. I'm not a beer lover, so that is the caveat of this review. However, I Loved the darker brews: nachtvar and daikaiju. Also, they have a fantastic selection of games including old school arcade games, indoor cornhole, ping pong, and cribbage! It was hopping on the Saturday after st paddy's day! Definitely a fun spot, and great that you can bring food in to enjoy while you taste and play! read more

I wanted to update my Banded Horn experience. Perhaps the summer visit was just an aberration, or I was having a bad night, I'm not sure. We made a day of Biddeford for Valentine's Day, including hitting the tap room at Banded Horn. Glad we did, because they were launching the bottle release of their The Jolly Woodsman, their coffee stout. It's been available for awhile on tap, but Saturday was my first taste--they were even serving donuts with it, which was a nice pairing. The tap room was hopping about 4:30-ish and we had a chance to chat up some first-time visitors to the brewery and Biddeford. I love their Pepperell Pilsner, and their Eldir, a German rauchbier makes you feel like you are drinking it around a smoky campfire. I had a growler filled of the Pepperell Pilsner, and it's sitting in my refrigerator at home. Biddeford's got it going on, and Banded Horn is definitely part of that new energy downtown, in the mill district. It's also a great place to experience the ambiance of the redeveloped Pepperell Campus, with its spaces that are finding new post-industrial uses these days. read more

Hands down one of the best, if not the best (I haven't tried them all), breweries in Maine. A bunch of mad scientists that never fail to create a unique and delicious beer - both on their own or when doing a local collaboration. The mill atmosphere only adds to the mystique and the smell of yeast when you first walk in the door will elicit a Pavlovian mouth watering if you visit more than twice. The rotation of beer, the atmosphere, and the employees are all on point. read more

Top notch place with some delicious beer, can't believe that I'm so impressed with the beer offer at this brewery.. great mix of awesome beers with very cool staff pouring the beers for you.. we are coming back Banded!! read more

The tasting room is open! Judging by the smell of urethane it is brand new. The beer is fresh and served by the owners/brewers. Good stuff! Worth a visit. read more

Banded Brewing - This is where the magic happens! - Breweries Near Me - Biddeford, Maine

This has to be one of the best brewerys in the Portland area! Not only is the beer great but they have board games, decks of cards, baggo/cornhole and even a few vintage arcade cabinets (we didn't bring nearly enough quarters). We went on Thursday 4/21 and then again on Saturday 4/23. The plan was to try things in Thursday and make final decisions before we had to drive back home on Saturday. We were hugely disappointed that on thirsty we tried an AMAZING stout called the Jolly Woodsman. When we came back satuday hoping to buy growlers, they had sold out. Other things we tried and loved are called The Mountain, Daikaiju, Resolution, and Wicked Bueno. Ok the other hand, Saturday night, Banded Horn paired with a local food place called Locally Sauced for a 5 course dinner. I can't say enough good things about the dinner. Food was great, we sat on the brewery work floor at long community/family style tables and made friends with everyone sitting around us. We spoke with a few of the owners and really appreciated the passion behind what they planned and the attention to detail in everything. Our favorite beer at this dinner was called Reclaimer, which turned out to be a very limited run because they had messed up a previous batch of beer and "reclaimed" it by fermenting a second time with large amounts of local fruit. I don't think I could completely encompass how awesome this place is with just words so hopefully the pictures I posted help. read more

Heading up to Portland for a weekend of food and booze and thought we would hit this place on the way. Tried a flight, nice selection on trap. Great little place, board games and old school video games. Worth a visit need to bring your own snacks if your hungry. read more

The banded horn is awesome! We go in every week or so to have a draft of their super delicious beer and fill our growler! One day we forgot the growler and He let us take one on the honor system! We returned it the next day, and we're so grateful :) they're constantly expanding the tasting room and the brewery, it's so fun to go in and see the progress :) Also I heard Ian took up welding just to build stuff for the brewery which is pretty cool! read more

Huge taproom, outdoor deck, good beer, video and arcade games, ping pong, and some good snacks. What else could you ask for? The staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions about their beer. The only drawback is that it does get warm in the taproom during summer as it's located in an old mill read more

I came here with friends who drink beer. I don't drink beer but I was able to get a gin cocktail from next door and bring it over, which everyone who worked there was cool about. They have games and a fun relaxed vibe. read more

Top notch beers- low to high ABV- so something for everyone! Go outside your comfort zone and hit this place. Staff will not beer shame you, they want you like their product and are more than helpful. Come as you are and have a great time with some great local beer. read more

The fourth and final stop on our Maine Brewery Crawl on Saturday. Banded Horn Brewing Co. is located in a brick mill building and they were offering at least a dozen different beers on tap in their open, industrial-looking tap room. I got back on the flight bandwagon at Banded Horn, as they had several intriguing options. I went with: Norweald - stout, Pepperell - German-style pils, Wicked Bueno - Mexican-style lager, and Nordri - lager with bitters. I wasn't crazy about the Nordri, the bitters didn't work for me, but the other three choices were all excellent. I particularly loved the Wicked Bueno. As of our visit, Banded Horn offers only a small selection of snack food, nothing substantial, but their website notes that they're planning an on-site kitchen so it looks like greater food options are coming. The staff here were pleasant and efficient and the space was open and inviting. Banded Horn Brewing Co. was a hit with our group. I look forward to returning. read more

Banded Brewing - My flight at Banded Horn Brewing Co. - Breweries Near Me - Biddeford, Maine

Really nice place! we were passing through town and luckily found a parking spot. I got the blueberry sour and it was very nice. We sat outside in great weather and inside folks work having fun playing games. Nice vibe. read more

We checked this place out on a recommendation from a friend and it was pretty good. My boyfriend and I both tried 4 beers each in a flight. Neither of us are IPA drinkers so we were pleasantly surprised that the large majority of beer selection were not IPAs. The beer was nice and cold, however we drank probably 2/4 due to personal preference. We'd definitely like to try some of their other selections when the menu rotates out. We wanted to snack with our beers so we got the "House Pickles" and the pretzel. The pretzel was quite small but absolutely delicious. The pickles were a mix of cucumbers, cauliflower and carrots with spices and were great! Small portions, but great flavor! We were disappointed at the limited food options as it is advertised to have a full kitchen. Overall, if you're in the area and want a cool atmosphere for a flight of beer and a snack, it's a good place to stop. Enjoy! read more

This is a spot I have been meaning to check out. Really nice guys working behind the bar. Beer is very good, especially Daikaiju and Veridian which are delicious. Love the space, relaxed atmosphere and pinball. Solid all around. read more

We stumbled upon Banded Brewing when going for a walk after dinner in Biddeford, what a great find. It's not fancy but they brew some great beer. We arrived before the crowd and were able to get quick service at the bar. It got crowded later but that was likely due to a festival that was going on in town. read more

Coffee stout is delicious! I've never had any of their beers before. Will look for other kinds!

Best brewery in Maine. There, I said it. I really hate to write that because I'm afraid people From Away will hear about it and start crowding the place. I don't care that they don't serve food or have convenient parking. I don't care that the seating isn't top-shelf. I don't care that the atmosphere is one of being (literally) in the brewery itself, in full view of the operation in progress without so much as a single pane of glass between you and the brewers. What I DO care about is how PHENOMENAL the beer is. Once you've had it, you'll know why I said that. And the guys who run the joint are awesome - very down to earth and great to hang out with. If you want food, walk next door to Portland Pie. If you want kick*ss beer, go here.... read more

Have been to Banded Horn in Biddeford a few times. Can typically find parking close by, and the space is pretty cool. The beer selection has been a little heavy on the IPAs and stouts for me, but that's a personal preference, and they typically do have 8 or so beers on tap. Having cornhole and ping-pong available makes it a fun hangout. Feel free to bring your dog as well- there have been several each time we've visited. read more

We stopped here because of Yelp reviews and were not disappointed at all. The beer samplers were great. The Wit and the Charms & Hexes were our two favorites. We had tomato soup and the Margherita grilled cheese with the homemade chips. Both were delicious! They have games to play including Nintendo. We highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! read more

I love the beer and food here. Both are delicious. However, the girl with the long blonde hair and the side shave is extremely rude every time we come. She is very short with customers and becomes upset when you do not know the menu by heart. We have heard this from multiple people We will not be coming back when she is working. read more

I came here on New Years Eve with some friends and had a lot of fun, the music was great and the drinks were good. However, I found the customer service to be absolutely terrible and was extremely disappointed in the staff that night. I have worked in the restaurant industry before and understand that it can be stressful at times, but this was no excuse for the way that we were treated. It was our first time there and we were very excited to try out a new brewery so close to home until we were greeted with unwelcome comments and eyerolls. I truly hope that this was just a misunderstanding and hope that the servers are not like this every night. read more

This is a great brewery! They had a great selection of beer (eight beers at the time) and there were several that I thought were really delicious. The price was also great; this was our fifth brewery of the weekend and the cheapest. The vibe was relaxed and fun. They had badminton, card and board games, and corn hole and the tasting room was industrial and wide open. I only have two small complaints. First, I like when a brewery has munchies. These can really be anything but when you are drinking sometimes you just need something. My other critique would be the lack of outdoor seating (although, in fairness, they could have had seating that wasn't open yet). Either way, it was a great place to go and we will definitely go back. read more

I think I am totally done with traditional bars. I love the vibe of breweries. Especially Banded Horn. The environment feels more like a hangout place. Not a dive bar. Not a polished brew ha. I'm personally not into plasma tv's and wings n things bars. I'd prefer beers with friends and lots of games. That's Banded Horn. Corn hole, foosball.... galore. Plus the space is amazing. High ceilings and very industrial. Oh and the beer is great - had a few Pils last night. read more

A very cool space, opened up in an old, converted mill. Biddeford is not the most happening place ever but now if you want to get up close and personal with the way a local beer is brewed you can make a stop here and take it all in. It's like a factory inside, and, since it's a tasting room rather than a bar, you won't get all the seating you might have expected, but rather a more "let's stand up and chat around the bar" kinda vibe. I really liked the little sample I had and should be headed back there any minute really. Also, ask for Alexis. She is a beer expert. read more

My new favorite brewery by far! I wish we lived closer because I would be there weekly! The beers were SO good. They had an abundance of board games which is one of my favorite things to do at a brewery, as well as pinball, Nintendo, and ping pong. My favorite thing of all was the esthetic of this place, from the beer menu, to the ombré tree walls, I loved all of it! Especially loved the orange glitter tap! I can't wait to go back! read more

Fun place! Definitely recommend the sampler for just $10, I think it's called a beer flight? You can easily share with a group and then decide which ones to get. I prefer the Ghost Window, which is a French Saison and leans more toward the fruity/citrusy variety with some malt undertones. Similar to an Oktoberfest beer, but with much more complexity. read more

First heard of this place when I was in NY for work from a beer rep, met by coincidence . The guy raved of the place, but was sad that the brewery could not keep up with the demand he needed for distribution. Fast forward a few months when I am in the area, this place is more than one could anticipate. The brewery/tasting room is industrial, hip and cool. Brewery's are a dime a dozen today. This place is a gem. Normally, all these "craft" breweries creations reek of the same yeast, notes, head and style(despite their names). Banded horn is one of the beautiful exceptions. The corn hole, retro video games, and the pisser decorated in cat art is the icing on the cake. read more

Fantastic. They just opened the outdoor patio. One of my favorite breweries anywhere. The heart of Biddeford.

My neighborhood brewery! A great place go grab a quick beer, play some ping pong or grab a quick bite (they have food now!). They offer video games, old arcade games, and card and board games, too. Great atmosphere and located right down town. You can also grab a pizza from Portland Pie and enjoy it in Banded! read more

Great little brewery. Awesome atmosphere. Good selection of craft beers. Highly recommend!

Banded Horn is a local brewery with seating to try their brewed on site masterpieces! Staff is friendly and the beer great! Enjoy a flight or a pint. I love this place! The beer is amazing. It's clear these brewers know what they're doing and take great pride in their work. I stopped by their tasting room over the weekend with my husband and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. I love to support small businesses and this is definitely one that will be on my regular list. Of all the breweries we've toured in New England (and my husband and I are brewery-obsessed!), this one left us with the best feeling. Talented people, amazing beer, great vibe. Banded is a local craft brewed in the old Mills building. Their atmosphere is excellent with an industrial feel. There are several things here to occupy your time while drinking such as Nintendo, ping pong, and corn hole. The outside deck is nice as well. The reason for the low review is we have been here several times and tried most of their beer for us not to care for it. I like most craft brewers but not this one. I don't feel the beer is to par with the rest of the country. read more

The staff is friendly and helpful and there are lots of games to play and incredible beers to drink! One of my favorite places!
