The staff were delightful! As soon as I walked in, they were happy to have me. I found this place on musing yelps surprise me feature a while back but kept it in my notes to come and visit if I was ever on that side of town! I'm pleased I did. The space was wide with plenty of seating, parking wasn't an issue because it was an open lot out front! The menu is all digital, you go up to a screen and order via a computer tablet. Your food is made fresh to order so be careful not to burn your tongue. I loved the burger!!! When you go, I would recommend you order their Bamburger! It has a smashburger patty to which you could make it a double, cheese, caramelized onions and their signature bam sauce! The sauce along with the seasoned patties is what made this burger pretty elite! The sauce had sort of a tangy taste and it was slightly sweet! I saw her making the sauce from scratch in the back as the door swiveled open. I could see vinegar, mayo and some other unknown items she was putting in! I wish I knew the secret!! It was okay for a smash burger. I didn't like the presentation of the burger, overflowing on the sides. Also, it needs more toppings. Just onions and sauce is not enough. It needs pickles, tomatoes, lettuce. The sauce was very good though. The fries were very plain and not crispy enough. Also fries need more seasoning . Overall, it was a good burger, but not great. It sort of reminds me of Trill burger in Houston with the sauce and onions. However, trill burger has more toppings and better seasoned fries. I had the single bam burger combo with sweet potato fries. I really enjoyed my food. I like that the patty wasn't that big. Portions were sized for a normal human. My daughter had the bam-fries. She said they were better than McDonald's, and not because they had cheese, bacon, and bam sauce on them. She loves McDonald's so that's high praise. Great service. The menu is simple as well but it has all you need for a really good (and quick) burger meal. As an adult, you definitely want double and up. The patties are thin (duh, smash burger) but they have a good taste. The bam sauce is ok. It has more of a mustard like taste which I don't care for so I opted for good ole fashion ketchup. Wow. While I was leaving my office downtown on Monday, 01-20-2025, my wife called me and said that she wanted a hamburger for dinner. I opened Google maps on my phone and searched for burgers. A new hamburger restaurant on FM2920, Bamburger, popped up. I decided to give it a try. The location is at the end of a strip mall on the north side of 2920. The interior is still Spartan but the owner said that they are still working on it. The theme of the restaurant is a little kitschy, but in a cute and fun way. It has a UFO theme (the burgers are so good because they were brought to earth by aliens. They are Out of This World!") The menu is super simple and you order through two touch screens. The only items are smash burgers: one, two, or three patties. Although they do have a chicken sandwich. You can get fries or loaded fries and soft drinks and milkshakes. The milkshake machine wasn't there yet, so milkshakes weren't available when I was there. Before I ordered for my wife, I ordered a single burger and an order of fries to try it out. I got a single patty, cheese, onions, and bacon. It was the best smash burger that I have ever eaten. The hamburger patty and the bacon were both crisp and exploded with flavor. The cheese was all melted and perfect. The onions were perfectly caramelized and the BamSauce was nice (simple mix of mayo, ketchup, and mustard). The bun was a Martin potato bun and was soft but chewy and absorbed all of the flavor of the beef and onions. It was burger perfection. It wasn't greasy and was packed full of beef flavor. You can tell that they did their homework on selecting the perfect meat blend. The fries are made with beef tallow and reminded me of McDonald's fries from 20 years ago, but thicker. They were great. I then ordered another burger for myself and one for my wife. She loved it and was hoping that they were open on Tuesday evening (but they weren't due to the snow storm). She really wanted it again. I will be back (a lot) and am very happy that there is a new burger place available. I would give Bamburger 6 stars out of 5 if I could. read more

I ordered online and the projected time of completion was pretty spot on because my food was still hot and ready to when I arrived. The lady at the counter was warm and welcoming!
