Bamburger with bamsauce on the side
    Christy P.

I didn't realize this was a local chain when we came by this weekend. This is a more modern restaurant where you place your order at one of two screens--so if you input your order wrong, it's your fault. The menu is very concise and consists of burger, spicy burger, chicken sandwich, vegan burger, plus sides. They do have a kids menu and a small selection of milkshakes as well. We both ordered smashburgers with a single patty--they charge extra to add lettuce, tomato and pickles. Raw onion is not an option on the menu. The burgers come with caramelized onions, cheese, and bamsauce. We also got an order of fries and the cookies and cream milkshake. Everything was flavorful overall, and the fries were very hot. I added lettuce and pickles, so my burger had a nice balance of meaty cheesiness along with some freshness. The food did take longer than I expected for it to come out--so don't expect fast food speed. The milkshake was so good, I had a hard time not consuming it right away, but I was also pretty hungry. It's a pretty bare bones place from the menu to the service to the overall ambiance. For anyone who prefers to keep their distance from others, this is a dream come true. For me, that slightly detracted so I'd probably get it to-go next time.

We went in on a Saturday evening and they weren't busy. They have touch screen ordering which was my first time to order this way but easy. I chose the Spicy Bamburger with one patty , white American cheese, no onions, spicy bamsauce, and pickled jalapeos on a potato bun, as well as fries. If you are hungry I would recommend getting a double on the meat. There were a lot of jalapenos but they had a little heat and good flavor. The burger was good but not as great as I hoped it to be. What I will give them credit for is the fries. I like salt and pepper on them and I needed neither.

Since going vegan I haven't had a cheeseburger but Bamburger has options for vegans. It was amazing and tasted even better than a regular meat burger. Flavors are meaty and cheesey with underlying tones of plant plus food stays warm. Patties are smashed making them bigger than the bun, got vegan cheese plus sauce however fries are cooked in beef tallow. Service is quick and the ambience is plain like a regular burger shop but a great place for a vegan burger and any burger.Upfront and kind establishment.

Baby Bam-tastic! Love their burgers just as much as the soft opening. That speaks alot for consistency. I finally tried the Bamchick and it did not disappoint! I never get it because I love the beef. The chicken is fresh juicy and the sauce compliments. I also appreciate they are apart of Toast, so I get points . I will be back soon to redeem my $5.

I have to say what really made the experience were the staff/ likely owners. So kind and welcoming. Burger was perfectly smashed with crispy freshly made fries!

I came across Bam Burger on Google Maps and decided to give it a try, glad I did. The burger was excellent, and the service matched. I ordered the Triple Spicy Bam Burger with fries and a mango cooler, and everything hit the mark. No complaints at all, definitely worth the money.

This place was amazing! Like Freddy's but better! The lady working the front was super helpful since it was my first time here. You can order at a kiosk or the front. She came over and explained the menu and what made up spicy vs regular. The ordered a bamburger double with the bam sauce on the side since I wasn't sure if I would like it and no carmelized onions. You can add lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and extra cheese. I also got the plain fries that are cooked in beef tallow. Not too bad! I really liked the bam sauce! Not sure what it is exactly - more like a Freddys fry sauce than a thousand island but it has a hint of something in it that gives it a little extra something. I'd buy it if they bottled it! Good parking out front and the restaurant is on the corner of the shopping area. I was here for work but if I'm ever back on the area I'll definitely come back!

Tried this place for the first time today for lunch. I was in Spring for work and we decided we wanted burgers for lunch. The place we were headed to was closed so I looked up burger places and Bamburger caught my eye due their high rating. I got the Double Bamburger and Bam-Fries. Both very delicious and full of flavor. This place is small but full of flavors. Definitely try them if you want a great tasting burger. Service was quick and friendly. You order from a kiosk and get your cups from the counter. Food is delivered to your table. The restaurant was clean and well as the restroom. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered for the first time for pick up. The restaurant is very clean and you can submit your order on the pads when you walk in. There is also someone at the front that will take your order as well. I ordered the spicy Bamburger with lettuce and tomatoes! I have to say....if you want a good, decent priced burger this is the place! This place is like a secret gem! I will definitely be making this one of my staple burger joints!

This giant ball hanging from the ceiling reflects the sparse, clinical environment of the dining area.

I came in and ordered at the kiosk, then looked around...no one at the counter...no cups to get a drink...so I just sat down. First impressions, not warm nor inviting. I didn't see anyone who worked there for about 7 minutes and waited 13 minutes for my burger which I thought was a little long. The fries were solid and honestly the best part of the meal. They were cooked well and very tasty. I have to say that I hate using ketchup packets at a sit-down restaurant. I mean, I'm not at a picnic, just give me a bottle of ketchup. I did not particularly care for the Bam sauce which just seems like mayo and ketchup but sweeter, so I just opted for ketchup. The spicy Bam burger wasn't particularly spicy but it was fine. Not great, but fine. Overall, I wouldn't come out of my way to eat at Bamburger. It's clean and you can tell the owners care about providing good service - but the atmosphere isn't great and the burger is just ok. So as much as I was hoping the like it more, I can only give it 3 stars.

Triple with bacon and Bam Fries with no jalapeños

Why 5 stars? Because this was definitely my favorite smash burger in the area, to-date. --- --- --- I feel like smash burgers became a really popular thing in recent years, but there actually aren't that many places around that are doing them. Or at least doing them well. So when we found out about Bamburger opening soon, my wife, an even bigger fan of smash burgers than me, vaulted it to the top of her list. I had just come from playing a couple hours of basketball and was in a state where I felt like I could have eaten every piece of inventory that was in the kitchen. So I went with the biggest and baddest thing available: a triple with a bacon patty. And the Bam Fries (no jalapenos.) It really hit the spot. I would probably give it a 4.5 with the only note being that it just felt a tad too salty, but I would happily eat these again any day of the week. And I'll definitely round up to 5 because of the fries. The bam fries were fine, but I actually liked the regular fries even more. They looked super basic in the photos, but they were about as ideal as fries could be. We arrived about 15 minutes after they opened on a Saturday and were the only people inside for about 10 more minutes after that. By the time we left, the place was full of people, which I was really happy to see. They make a great product, even if the vibe of the place is about as sterile as the office space in Severance :)

Want the best burger around? Come to Bam Burger; food so freshly cooked, fries too hot to touch, when served. Love the bun and meat. I would not pay extra to add lettuce and tomato again; burger is fine without it. The combo is the way to go, for good value. Burger cooked perfectly. Clean, spacious and comfortable spot; staff is helpful and welcoming. Simple menu, and that's a good thing! We'll be back soon!

Bamburger definitely has down some good burgers. Everything came out hot and fresh. The bacon patty... just get it! You're getting bacon in every bite of your burger. The place was nice and clean. Bright white walls. There is seating for dine in. They have kiosks to where you can order or you can order at the counter. The service was great and although counter service, they still came to the table to check on us to make sure we didn't need anything.

It's noted on the menu that is must be served medium rare, no exceptions - that's my preferred temperature anyway, so it was perfect for me. It was indeed juicy and tender. The cajun fries were a nice pairing. We enjoyed our experience overall. Was it a top notch, amazing burger? I wouldn't go that far, but it did its job and I'm happy we came and tried it out.

At least not enjoy spending it. But with prices these days getting way out of hand what can you do. I got the rattlesnake because I saw it touted as their award winning burger. Not sure from where the award came. But this and their trash can tacos had the emblem next to it. You also get a veggie pack with your to-go burger which has chopped lettuce, pickles, raw onions and 2 slices of tomatoes. That's nice so you don't have to put on the required latex gloves to use their veggie bar to get these yourselves. It's in a separate bag. I thought this was the buger at first and was secretly getting a bit concerned when I saw the cook toss it onto the counter like a bean bag. The cashier was super nice. He offered me water as I waited. They had another guy working in the back cooking the food. You also get a thimble of ketchup in your Togo bag along with a packet of mustard and mayo. The bun was a little burnt. And I couldn't taste any of the mixed in jalapeños. Also I kinda wish they had whole lettuce rather than chopped just because it kept falling out of the burger. But other than these issues the burger was pretty tasty. Definitely not a McDonald's burger like one person posted. But also not the best burger ever as many other posters swear by. Definitely glad I went. But don't know if I'd be willing to spend another $20 on one of their Burgers either. They're closed on Sundays according to Google maps which is old school nice to see.

A quick Google search brought this place up first with 4.9 stars, which is practically unheard of these days, so we decided to try it. Wow. What a meal. We started with the onion ring basket and a half order of beer bread. The onion rings were fantastic--huge, thick-cut rings with a wonderfully seasoned batter that actually had flavor instead of tasting flat or bland. Served piping hot, which matters to me because I like my food HOT. The ranch dressing was a great addition, too. The beer bread was decent. You could definitely taste the beer, but it wasn't the best loaf I've ever had. Mom, Mark, and I all ordered the grilled ribeye steak sandwich. I'm the only one who got it as designed on the menu. I originally expected more of a slab-of-steak sandwich, but it was actually closer to a Philly cheesesteak style sandwich, which honestly I prefer. Mom and Mark skipped the peppers, onions, garlic aioli, and pepper jack cheese in favor of lettuce, tomato, and mayo instead. Our waiter, Evan, was wonderful! He was friendly, attentive, accommodating, and clearly proud of the restaurant. He even offered to tell us the history of the building and restaurant, which added so much to the experience. The story is also printed on the back of the menu, and it's definitely worth reading. Evan mentioned he's only been there a few months, but he is absolutely an asset to the restaurant as a server. My brother Mark is blind and autistic, and it's honestly not often a server addresses him directly. They usually look to mom or me and ask, "What does he want?," but Evan asked Mark directly. Kudos to him. We had to finish the meal with the historical whiskey chocolate cake, and I'm glad we did. It's served warm with whipped cream on the side, caramel sauce drizzled across the plate, and pecans on top. Absolutely delicious and huge! There were four of us who shared it, and it was more than enough for each of us. Also worth mentioning: the sweet potato fries are an extra $4 but absolutely worth it. These are NOT frozen Ore-Ida fries dumped from a bag. They're clearly fresh cut and homemade, and they were delicious. For nearly two o'clock in the afternoon, the place was packed--at least three-quarters full--and the entire atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everyone we encountered was friendly. I live in Katy, so Old Town Spring is definitely not nearby for me, but I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area or just passing through. It's easy to see why people love it.
