So happy Bambu has the halo halo back. I miss this drink so much that I literally try to find another place that makes it, but it only just gave me disappointment.  They also had the mango halo halo, but of course I had to try that too. Bambu Halo Halo A Filipino drink comes with jackfruit, red tapioca, pandan jelly, egg pudding, coconut meat, and crystal boba. Mango halo halo: green jelly base with nata de coco, mango jelly, and mango ice cream  Ube halo halo: red bean base, coconut meat, rainbow jelly, topped with ube ice cream  They give so much pandan jelly But I think my new favorite is the mango halo halo.  But i was a bit disappointed with the pandan waffle

Bambu is one of my favorite places to go for Vietnamese dessert drinks. The drinks are filled with fruit, puddings, Jellies, or Boba. Everything is fresh, including the coconut Che, which is refreshing and delicious on top of a drink. You can also have basil seeds or mung Beans added if you like. The menu has drink selections, so you don't have to create your drink. Service was fast enough as they made my drink to order. It is a busy place, but there is seating with a relaxed, chill ambiance. I recommend that you try the strawberry smoothie or Bambu favorite; enjoy!

My stepdaughter recommended me this place to get avocado smoothies because she said they make the best. I trusted her, so we went there, and I ordered exactly what she suggested. Amazing! The smoothie came out perfect! The service was okay, but I expected it to be more upbeat because the place attracts youngsters, and they have lots of energy, ha! We also ordered something to go, a summer roll and Banh Mi. I loved my summer roll and avocado smoothie!

I've been coming to Bambu regularly for the past 1.5 years and to this day, Bambu is still one of my top food spots in the area. Bambu serves bubble tea, desserts, Vietnamese food (rice bowls, vermicelli bowls, banh mi). Their food always hits the spot. The portions are generous and delicious. My go-to foods are Chicken Banh Mi with Jalapeños and Grilled Pork Rice Bowl. I haven't too many of their drinks but the few times I've tried their Vietnamese coffee, it was delicious. They have tofu options for their bowls and sandwiches for anyone who is vegetarian. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Very happy with this place. We need more great spots like this on LI! Their quality makes sense since they're originally from San Jose CA. They also have successful spots in the city. VIET ICED COFFEE Strong Vietnamese iced coffee, its signature fragrance and bitterness come through. Stronger than I'm used to but still very much enjoy it. Boba were squishy and very easy to chew, typical quality of bubble tea shops TARO MILK TEA Strong taste of taro! You can actually taste it and the sugar/milk do not overpower its flavor. One of the much better done taro milk teas I've had. CHICKEN AND PORK BANH MI Crunchy, freshly toasted bread with an airy, easily torn quality that give way to a nice bite of the sandwich which is a textural improvement from more traditional Banh mi where it's hard to rip off a bite. Radish, carrot and cilantro are present, but not as in dense quantities to traditional Banh mi to make room for the meat. Overall the sandwiches are not as densely packed as normal Banh mi but that's not due to a lack of meat but more thoughtfully proportioned level of veggies. I liked the chicken more than the pork which was a bit drier but had a really nice sweet and mouthwatering bbq flavor to it. The chicken was nice and hearty, tender and crispy. PORK SPRING ROLLS Meaty, with a Thai chili dipping sauce and not the typical fish sauce from viet places. Skin is the thin crispy kind and not the thicker one that has a more bready quality. Enjoyed these - meaty, salty, little bit of carrot and mushroom. How can you go wrong? Will def come back, this is the best spot to eat in its plaza. Please stick around - we need great Asian eats like you guys! Desperately going to try your che next

If you are in the mood for some boba and are in the area you definitely should stop by this place. The boba here is very good -chewy and sweet. You can taste the tea flavor heavily if you order the milk tea here which I like a lot. I would come back for the boba here!

I really enjoyed this place pre-pandemic, but recently the quality and customer service has gotten worse. I still kept going because it's one of the few places to get decent banhmi and bubble yea. My brother recently got a banhmi and a bandaid rolled out of the sandwich. He thought it was chicken and was about to put it back on and realized it was way too soft. This is disgusting.

Dessert drink, banh mis, and fries? What's not to like?! Things you should order: Classic banh mi- I'm usually not a classic banh mi kind of person but my husband really enjoyed it. Chicken banh mi- I was actually expecting a lemon grass chicken but it was more of a fried chicken sandwich with spicy mayo. It was actually quite tasty with that crispy chicken crunch. While everything was great, i just wished the cucumber was cut a bit smaller and thinner. I got a huge wedge in my sandwich. #6 Fruit Addict- this was really good. It had so many toppings in it that I wasn't sure what I was eating. Definitely get this after your meal. Viet iced coffee- yums, can't mess this up Banh mi fries- The fries were so crispy. Loved the double fried texture. Daikons and carrots were placed on the side but some of the fries were soggy because they were touching it. Verdict? Everything was delicious. Banh mis were big enough to share and still be full. We saved the other half for dinner and placed it in the toaster oven, still so good!

When I asked my daughter, "when did that get there?" She responded, "it's new and I hear it's pretty good. We should try it if you're in the mood for bubble tea." Once inside, there is nice seating if you are looking to sit a bit. Looking up at the many choices on the board, the folks behind the counter immediately asked if we were ready to order or needed assistance. As I inquired about the differences between the drinks I was torn between, my knowledgeable server thoughtfully explained the drinks and how I could also customize my sweetness level. The high level of customer service for a mall shop was quite refreshing and more of a reason I would come back. I ultimately chose Sweet Sunshine: mangos and lychee mixed with jasmine green tea, with lychee jelly. If you're in the Smithhaven mall looking for a bubble tea, I'd recommend stopping in and giving Black Pearl Bubble Tea a try. My drink was served up quickly with a smile. Upon receipt, it looked so yummy and I was so excited to try it that I forgot to take a photo. It wasn't till I was half way through and in the car that I remembered.

Yaaas Tea is my go to for boba because no other place makes boba like them! Their boba is made fresh every hour on the hour, is flavorful and therefore, tastes amazing! I was recently in the area (end of January 2026) for an appointment and had gift cards for Yaaas Tea purchased from Costco ($25 x2 gift cards for $39.99 - and there's sometimes sales on top of this!) so why not? I initially used their self serve kiosk to order but then realized the way the card scanner was placed, that there was no way to swipe my gift card into the reader which was kind of annoying. The employee who was there however, was more than kind enough to take a picture of my order and manually put in the order with the regular cashier at the front. I ordered a Strawberry Lemonade with Mango Popping for my son and he loved it. For myself I ordered a Taro Milk Tea with Boba which was delicious. For our food, I ordered a Turkey Egg and Cheese Croffle and an Egg and Cheese Croffle (for my son). Both were delicious, made fresh and very filling. Last time I had also gotten their cookies (very reminiscent of Tate's cookies) but when I inquired about them this visit, she said they were in the process of baking fresh cookies on premise! Super excited about that! There were a few tables in the front of the store and the whole store itself was clean, spacious and brightly lit. Plenty of free parking in the lot at the front as it's located in a huge strip mall. I will definitely be returning any time I'm in the area and craving a bubble tea and/or croffle sandwich!

I had stopped in to grab a menu from the place next door and discovered this gem as I was pulling out. Peking Duck??? The sign caught my attention and I just had to check it out. Sometimes you just don't know where you find the next great place. Anyway, I met the owner June. What a lovely person. We talked about their take in regional Chinese cuisines and their strict adherence to authentic ( Sorry no beef with brocolli, egg rolls, or orange chicken). Instead it was a menu pulling from the best of Beijing, X'ian, Hunan, and Szechuan cuisines. Oh my goodness, where do I start?? Ok..first time time..had to try the X'ian Spicy Lamb noodles. Where do I begin??? All of their wheat ( not rice) noodles are hand pulled right there. That makes a HUGE difference. Chewy, springy, and so delicious. June told me the traditional version came with lamb intestine too ( not a fan of intestines so thank you for the heads up). These were so damn good. Spicy and tingly, hearty and delicious. The spice was the good kind, the kind that encourages you dig back in inspite of the heat ( much like the first time I had real Pad Thai at the old Jai Ya in Elmhurst). It was an explosion of flavor. I was hooked. I went back later that day to order the Peking Duck Dinner for my friends and got the Spicy Beef Noodle soup to take home for my son. Again, those same amazing noodles and the most flavorful broth plus soft and melt in your mouth beef shin and tendon. Another keeper. 2 days later I brought in the Peking Duck dinner for my friends. First out of the gate...these came with homemade pancakes like they should. Bao are for roast pork, not peking duck. The duck was expertly sliced, and was juicy not dry. My friends were blown away. The full dinner came with scallion pancakes, cold poached chicken in a chili oil and vinegar sauce, cold noodles with sesame sauce, and sauteed bok choy with garlic. I've ordered it twice already and really want to get it right at the restaurant when the crispy skin is at its crispiest. Everything I ordered from here hit the authenticity I crave and were so on point. Gotta recommend the spicy lamb burgers too. If you've had at X'ians famous at any of their locations, you will be so happy to not have to go the Flushing for this delight. I promise to post pictures. Trust me on this...you want to go here.
