Service - Tight. The space is really small and I was bumped a couple of time by the server. If you can ask for a booth, that would be the choice of seating to get! It felt a bit chaotic with the servers coming by with their own tablets; wishing there was a better ticketing system. Great All You Can East Sushi Spot! I find the price of the all you can eat to be extremely reasonable and you will definitely get your moneys worth! Lots of options on the all you can eat menu - plenty of apps, raw fish, hand rolls, signature rolls, hibachi, and ramen!!! All the fish was fresh and the food was served quickly. Service was quick even through the busy rush of dinner service. There is no reservations for small parties so be sure to get there early because you may have a decent wait time. This is not a serve yourself buffet. A server comes to the table to place your order and I recommend ordering a few items at a time. I really liked the wide selection on the menu and I didn't expect for the fish quality to be that great but I was pleasantly surprised. Nothing tasted old or fishy. The rolls were normal sized rolls with balanced ratios of rice and fillings. My favorite was the tsukiyo roll. The kitchen appetizers are small and comes with 2 pieces per order which was great because we got to try multiple different items. You get a bang for your buck, come check it out! read more

Had dinner here this evening, and was utterly disappointed. Its a very lovely restaurant that is cozy inside but that is where the positives end. The food quality is poor at best, the sushi was fishy and the service was non-existent. When we could get a server, they made us feel like we were bothering them. Its extremely hyped up because its new and has a cool All You Can Eat concept, which would be awesome if tje food was actually good. The desserts cane to the table frozen. Not cold, actually frozen. I felt robbed once I left here. If you want good sushi, try Tomo or Minihana for quality restaurants. If you like AYCE, go to JBBQ in Smithtown This is a mess, it likely won't last once people realize the less than stellar ingredients. I would not return here. read more

First off it was a little hard to find a parking spot but that is good for them they were very busy and mind you the parking lot is pretty small, try to make reservations or go during a less busy time to get a overall great experience. We waited at the sushi bar while waiting to be seated we noticed the chefs at work making sushi and other delicious foods. I wish we could of saw them better making the sushi's, maybe if they had the display of fish on the side and had the table higher so we can see them freshly making the sushi which could be cool aspect to add to the bar. But overall a nice welcoming environment decently loud because it was busy but it was cool to see the chefs busy making the food at the bar. Service: Very quick and kind service we did the all you can eat and we started our 90 minute all you can eat journey at 4:30ish. It was amazing honestly how fast they were at first they slowly got more crowded so they slowed down over time I believe but overall such quick service. Food: all right so let's get to the nitty-gritty the food itself. I saved every delicious bite of those spicy tuna rolls and I really like the crunchy ones too some things that really stood out to me on the menu where the green tea ice cream it was very delicious and unique and nice traditional Japanese flavor. I also thought that there was a cool variety and item such as the spider tempura as well as the eel I also tried the Oreo dessert was really good and the banana which was OK. It was very interesting though. but the thing that I liked, the most was my favorite the spicy chicken rolls and that's really probably gonna be the best things that you get there which are the Sushi's. This place was phenomenal. I think it was well worth the 30 bucks for unlimited food and I really thought that they were really fast and generous with their portions. Ordered Naruto rolls - they left the skin on the cucumber. Also, I ordered a rainbow Naruto - no crab no avocado. Instead of giving me more fish they just filled it up with chopped up cucumber strips. Other paces like Aji 53 will put a white fish in there. They cheaped out. Check my photo. read more

Zushi has only been open a very short time, so it is expected that it will improve with age. The place is attactive stand alone building on Jericho Tpk in Smithtown. The inside is new and clean and welcoming. The servers were very amiable but not yet seasoned and knowledgable about the offerings. I visited the Sushi Bar to peruse the fish and spoke to the Chef about what was available. He was very helpful and worked with me to choose the best of what they had. For an AYCE restaurant they are very conservative on the servings. The kitchen choices, mostly hot, came one or two pieces at a time and they were small in size. The menu under Sushi has extra charges for shrimp, scallops, toro (they had none), Ikura (was inedible) et al...Their rolls were predominitly vegetable based and over sauced. I believe after enough customer comments they will improve on these items and be a more enjoyable meal. Given the other venues in the area I would not return until I see more favorable reviews on Yelp. Kira Sushi in Ronkonkoma is still our favorite ayce and would be a good model for Zushi to embrace. read more

I'll tell you what you need to know.... Was told 30 minutes, Waited 1 hour 25 On a monday night. Only popular due to videos online. Food was average... if that but for this price that's expected, But was NOT worth the wait at all. I've been to almost every AYCE on Long Island and this is the worst or 2nd to worst. Kira is by far superior and best bang for ur buck locally thanks recommend, don't even drive here. But on the bright side atleast the customer service was good....... and $5 extra for sashimi? ... So let me start by saying they don't have a full liquor license yet. Little disappointing. I don't eat sushi, but enjoy kitchen entrees from Japanese restaurants. My food was horrendous. The texture of the chicken was bad and it was behind chewy! My husband enjoyed his sushi, but I definitely would not order anything other than seafood. read more
