I tried this place for the first time recently and overall had a good experience. They have a fun menu with lots of drinks and desserts that are both yummy and interesting. Everything smells amazing when you walk in, and there are so many tempting options to choose from. The drinks were really good, and the açaí bowls, were fresh and tasty. The halo halo was absolutely scrumptious and definitely a highlight for me. The service was just okay. It wasnt bad, but it could be a bit warmer. A more welcoming vibe when greeting customers would really elevate the experience. That said, I am looking forward to going back and trying more items on the menu. The food and drinks alone make it worth another visit.

My husband and I got the Bambu Special less ice and 75% sweet and Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie. The Bambu Special is usually my go to. It's so refreshing on a hot day! It is coconut juice with toppings. In the future, I would get 50% sweet or less because it was still very sweet. The Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie is basically Vietnamese yogurt with strawberry blended together! The worker was attentive and friendly!

Bambu knows how to make these dessert drinks. I get extra shaved ice because I like to stretch out my drinks. Plenty of seating and parking. However, some characters that loiter around could be a bit annoying and/or scary so location could be an issue here. I usually get the Bambu Favorite so I can have the chewy goodness of all the ingredients. I also like their Thai iced tea. Service is quick and easy. Seating inside, very cozy hanging out.

1. The drinks were refreshing and not sweet! I really like the density of the mango smoothie! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! It has a high ceiling! 3. There were many indoor tables! One of my favorites place for desserts! They have a variety of concoctions for smoothies, Chè, fruits mixed with boba and milk tea drinks. The mashed avocado with durian is da bomb! Avocado mixed with all sorts of bobas and a scoop of durian into the mixture. Served with shaved ice and condensed milk! The Chè ba mâu(Tri color) is quite good as well. Not overly sweet and just enough hint of coconut milk within the mixture. Order at the counter and they will call when ready! Cute little place to sit and enjoy your dessert drinks!

The crunchy ice mixed in the ube ice cream was good. The rest tasted like vietnamese Che ba mau.

I was craving some Pandan waffles with coconut inside of them. I decided to come here since this was the first place that came into my mind. I walked in here, and ordered what I wanted. Didn't take too long. Went back home, and did the dishes and laundry. They did it in a short period of time. They also informed another customer that the macarons were just out of the freezer so it's soft as long as you don't expose them to higher temperatures. The canvas pictures of the meals are genius, especially people who are visual learners and don't understand Vietnamese. The image is even enhanced for people to understand what the contents in their drinks are. They're labeled really good.

Used to go to Bambu in Irvine until it closed down. Stumbled on this place while in Garden Grove. Located across the Regal Movie Theater. Looks like a hole in a wall from outside but is actually quite nice and spacious inside. Decor modern/trendy with lots of comfy bench seating. Ordered my go-to #1 Special with Lychee instead of Longan. About $10 for a Large. Tasted just like I remembered. Sweet, refreshing, lots of soft green jelly, coconut, lychee, basil seeds, coconut water, shaved ice. They have a kiosk for orders as well but no option to sub items. No complaints.

my friends and i were craving bambu and decided to come to this location instead of the one in westminster. the aesthetic of this location is extremely cute and clean. upon entering, we noticed that there was only one worker doing both front and back of the house duties. i ordered the awesome trio while my friend ordered #10. we waited around 5-10 minutes before receiving our order, which is pretty fast for a one man team. the dessert was delicious & i would definitely come back!

Walking into the place, the decorations are warm and bright. Beautiful decor of city and nature settings. Plenty of seating with bright colored booth seats. They have so many photos of the menu items that lists ingredients to help make a decision. We ordered #2 (Bambu Combo) and #10 (Bambu Favorite). The decision I tried to make was to avoid coconut meat since I'm not into coconut (but the milk is good though). You order at the kiosk and staff is friendly, we asked if they serve just the ice cream itself (since I saw mango and ube flavored ice cream) but they directed us to packaged ice cream in the freezer at the front. We ordered and got a number, sat down to wait, and once we got our order we decided to take it to go and explore a nearby Asian supermarket! The drinks were delicious, I very much preferred the Bambu favorite but both were great. Usually, after mixing everything, I would eat it with a spoon. But instead I waited for the ice to melt and used a boba straw to drink everything.

I love Bambu and try to search for a location whenever I travel. Recently ventured down South for work and found this place. The decor is so pretty, plenty of seating and parking. I ordered my usual favorite, 3 color drink. It was delicious.

I've been wanting to try Bambu for a long time, but I haven't had the time to go to the one in Westminster. I'm so excited that a location opened in GG! My family and I ordered the Summer Delight (number 4), Awesome Trio (number 3), and Bambu Favorite (number 10). I got the Bambu Favorite. It doesn't come with mung bean, but I asked for mung bean with my chè. The owners and employees are totally accommodating to your desires (you can adjust the sugar level, ice, etc.). Amazing variety of ice blended fruit drinks, Vietnamese ice coffee and waffles. I was down here for the holidays and basically got my coffee fix and other drinks from here everyday trying all the different drinks. I like the coconut based drinks and the Bambu Special and Fruit Addict are my favorites. The Avo Coffee was good as well as the Vietnamese coffee. They'll make it to your taste of really strong coffee. read more

This was our go to boba place, my kids and I have been going there for a while. We went a couple of days ago my son ordered a new drink and he didn't like it. The girl at the counter offered to put more sugar in it, and it still didn't taste good. I asked if we could get a new drink and the girl said yes but you'll have to pay for it. I told her that my son didn't like it. She said there was nothing she can do about it. I thought that it was unreasonable since he just had a taste and didn't like it. This location just recently opened, so I decided to try it out. First impressions were that the owners were very nice and patient as my boyfriend and I decided what to get. Their menu has a large variety of fruit teas, milk teas, and smoothies. So far, we've had some smoothies, fruit teas, milk teas, and coffee. The drinks taste very good and fresh; you can tell they put effort into their drinks. My boyfriend and I LOVE their Vietnamese iced coffee. My boyfriend, who is from Vietnam, says this place is one of the very few in OC that serve authentic Vietnamese iced coffee. Would definitely recommend this place! read more

I come and redeem my point in five star for free drink however the lady's attitude there is really bad. She tries to speak loud with other lady in kitchen about my FREE drink. This is my new Bambu location when I'm in OC. I stopped going to the Little Saigon location for multiple reasons. The shop is spacious and welcoming. The owners are pleasant too! Same high standard of quality like most of the Bambu locations I've been too. I almost always get the Bambu special but I got the Bambu favorite today. Great tasting che with a pandan waffle. I'll be back next time I'm in OC. read more

One of the best spot for Vietnamese desserts and sugar cane with Vietnamese kumquat aka calamansi in OC. This is the only Bambu spot I go to because the owners are always so welcoming and take great care of preparing my orders. The place is really well decorated and clean. My very first experience was impressive. Cute and comfortable interior (Paris street scene) with friendly staff. I ordered the yogurt combo w/ mango, strawberry and blueberry. Went here to catch up with one of my friends, we both had dinner so wanted something light. We both got the #1. It was super refreshing, highly recommended if you want something thats not too sweet but still yummy. Nice ambiance, very decorative hahah. Its interesting. Owner is also super nice. My friend and I didnt realize that it was past closing by 30 minutes and no one ever came by to kick us out. Overall, good place to catch up with friends or grab a quick dessert. read more

Came here on a Friday, they have a nice and spacious store, which is nicer than the location on Bolsa, and is a perfect location for a meet up with friends. I ordered CHÈ (not boba duh because they're known for chè, a Vietnamese dessert). I ordered chè đc bit (number 3) with ice on the side and one sugar cane juice. Their chè is good as always, pandan jelly was delicious. Sugar cane juice was made fresh. The service was good too. I got my order in less than 5 minutes. This store puts a very modern spin on your traditional Che dessert! I got the fruit addict and loved the variety of fruits that come with it! Bambu serves Asian-inspired dessert drinks including authentic Vietnamese Che and coffees, boba milk teas, and real fruit smoothies. Besides being both dairy and gluten free, our Che ingredients are prepared daily in our full kitchen from cutting fresh Thai young coconuts and capturing the fresh coconut water and meat, to preparing a fresh batch of Bambu's one-of-a-kind pandan jelly, red tapioca and fresh taro paste. Established in 2019.

In 2008, four Vietnamese sisters - Anh, Kelly, Jenny & Julie - open their first Bambu Shoppe in the heart of the Vietnamese community in San Jose, California. Their exceptionally friendly service and large menu of fresh, healthy, and authentic Ch® dessert drinks, crisp boba milk teas, signature Vietnamese coffees, real fruit smoothies, and exotic juices captured the attention of the entire San Francisco Bay Area. Today, there are over 70 Bambu Shoppes located in 22 states and Canada, including our very own unique shop in Garden Grove. Maybe what makes them stand out is that they offer more flavors and different mix-and-match combinations. The main downside for me is the wait time. Whether you order in person or online, it still seems to take quite a while. Sugarcane juice is usually pretty simple and quick to make, so waiting more than 10 minutes for one drink feels a little too long for me. GG has 8.75% tax but we were charged double the tax price. the owner/ customer service is so poor , I asked politely how they compute the tax and the older guy came out and responds defensively and rudely with a condescending voice.
