Tried it a few years ago and thought it was good, but not exceptional. This one down right atrocious. If a New Yorker were to try this "New York Style" pizza I shudder to think what he or she would do to the owner. The crust was fairly thick and totally tasteless. No chewieness, no yeast, no nothing. Bomb!!! Aside from great food they have great service. My truck broke down in front of their restaurant and I needed to use the restroom. The guy in font counter taking orders was the only person in the whole plaza to let me use his restroom. Came back and bought 3 calzones just because of that. He also let me wait for the tow truck inside his restaurant. I waited for about 4 hrs before the tow truck came. Thank you! Hmm, I think pizza is a subjective situation, but I will share my experience. I ordered to go through their website and created my own pizza with ham, meatballs, and spinach. Unfortunately, the pizza was really thick (I think there was a lot of dough, a lot of cheese, and definitely generous toppings), and it was also soggy (noticeably wet on the bottom). I wonder if part of the issue is that I couldn't eat it for about 20 minutes due to having to pick it up and travel to my destination. Maybe it steamed inside the container? I can't imagine I'm not the only one who doesn't eat pizza instantaneously, though. The whole thing felt out of balance. It wasn't my preference, but I'm glad to see many other people like this place and hope everyone finds their own perfect pizza place =p read more

Found this nice little spot while looking for lunch on a Saturday. I saw the advertised slices so I had gone in, they told me it was only MON-FRI but quickly went to ask the owner if they could make some for me! They immediately came out and said yes. When I realized that they'd make an entire pizza just to sell me some slices, I returned and buy the rest. Passed them out to my coworkers and some homeless around work. Don't judge a book by its cover because this place may not look like much on the outside but what it serves up is amazing. Ordered a mini cheese pizza and a garden salad. The pizza was oozing cheese...the crust was perfectly cooked...the perfect soft/crunchiness. The salad was huge and packed. All in all I couldn't finish my food and for the ten bucks I paid for everything I had food left for dinner. The service was great and I love how the gentlemen put my salad in a different bag and didn't put it on top of the hot pizza. It's the little things. read more

Usually i wouldn't do it but today i had to make an exception. Ordered a great amount of food for my family, the special number 2 with all nuggets also with a 12 pc nuggets and 2 salads and a bbq chicken calzone... pizza was good. Calzone was good... but, the nuggets and fries weren't so good. Fries were mushy and soggy indicating that they aren't done fully and the nuggets which by the way are usually better than mcdonalds was chewy and very mushy along with watery. Im glad the owner asked if i wanted more or a replacement but the fact he called back and tested it himself ensuring i was wrong.. didn't sit well with me. I have to order it well done next time as it was advised to me. Either way, support this place. Great prices, fast service and still tasty. But, make sure you get it well done. read more

This is my second time getting bad food I ordered lasagna and they gave me hamburger meat rolled in lasagna noodles like a pinwheel it was awful. I'm not sure if it's under new management or owners but that's my last time going. Too bad it was a favorite. read more

I've been a loyal customer for more than 4yrs. Lately, they've been messing up my order more than three times. I've been giving them the benefit of the doubt, plus my complaint, none have been met. Not even a call back. What led me to speak my mind out tonight about their lack of customer service is that whoever cooked my son's Alfredo pasta, basically gave him milk with noodles. I have been ordering pizza from them for my kids for about three years.. There has been some issues but they always fixed the mistake.. Lately the last three orders have been a dismal and they refused to fix their mistake. I ordered pizza that did not show after they said multiple times that it should be there after multiple times and then they stopped answering the phone.. I ordered the last time because I thought I would give them one last chance because they actually know me but they for got one topping out of a four topping order along with a order of a 4 large order of nuggets and cheese sticks. Picked up my Buffalo Wings from Bambino's Pizza...opened it up in the car to check my order...and BAM! FLYING KICK TO THE FACE! The Buffalo Wing Sauce was unleashed! The fumes went straight to my nose and I almost teared from its awesomeness! I knew this was not going to be a boring meal. Got home and started to chomp. Nom Nom Nom. 1min in I started to sweat a little. Mind you...this was NOT a spicy hot sauce taste that burns your tongue. It was just a beautiful symphony of Buffalo Wing Sauce slathered on Naked Chicken Wings. The sauce naturally sits on the bottom so you want to re-soak the wings for extra KICK! KAPOW! After my last experience, I got a message and a hand delivered letter from the manager Sean apologizing for sending the wrong order and offering a credit to order again. I gave them a shot again and just fished eating. I ordered a pizza and spicy wings and this time I could see what everyone was talking about. The pizza was cooked very well and the wings were spicy and looked like the representative picture. I was very pleased. This place was close by so I thought I'd order some pizza. Though this is a pizza place, they sell a large variety of other food: salad, pasta, sandwiches, chicken, seafood, cheesecake, and burgers. They got a good amount of specials such as two extra large one topping pizzas for $26 or an extra large one topping pizza and 2-liter Pepsi for $16. I got the two large one topping pizzas for $22 special. When I came to pick up my order, I thought I had come to the wrong place because the inside felt more like an office than a sit down restaurant. Some middle school and high school kids like to loiter inside. The pizza was quite average. There really wasn't anything special about it. We literally called at 10am knowing how long the delivery takes. It is now 12:19pm and the food just arrived, when we specifically stated an order time of 11:30. I will say this is not the first time this has occurred. HIGHLY disappointing! When we called at 11:45 to see where our order was, we had a rude and annoyed man answer the phone. He then said, 10 more min. As 10 min passed and then another 15- we all became quite frustrated. Literally 2 hrs and 15 min we waited for food!!! . At this point, i demanded some sort of discount. The best calzones outside of the Northeast, hands down! I've been coming here for a little over a year and they have yet to disappoint! The pizza is great, but I always come here for the calzones! The beautiful taste of ricotta cheese with tomato sauce, yummy pepperoni (or any topping of your choice) inside the soft dough it's baked in, you're left with wanting another one once you get through your food coma! Always cut it & let it cool for a bit once you get it, because they are made fresh & are hot! They have them in mini, small, medium, & large -- a mini is perfect for lunch, a small when you're really hungry (expect a coma), the medium is good for two, and the large can def be split between a party of 3-4. I always get a small -- have some now, have some later for when I'm craving it while watching Netflix in the evening. The owner & staff are very great and attentive, and they will correct your order if it comes out wrong (they've corrected a previous order before for me). Wait time isn't bad at all nor is the price -- usually around 15-20 mins & less than $20 for two small calzones (one had a specialty topping). read more

If your looking for whole in the wall pizza, look no further. Bambino's pizza is a tiny place with big flavor. Right from the first bite you can tell they take pride and care in everything they make. Ingredients tasted fresh. The crust was soft and slightly sweet. We ordered an all meat pizza and a vegetarian. I love meat pizzas so this was a great test as we have never been here before. The pizza was very meaty and very cheesy. On the vegetarian we substituted the mushrooms for artichoke hearts. A vegetarian pizza is never a first choice for me but this was really good.
