BOOM CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A PLUS....

Just heading home after purchasing our third camper from Bama RV. We love this place! It's like one big happy family! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about the customer service! We added a couple of extras to the camper and they are even going to deliver it to us. Cant wait to try the new camper out on our trip this month. Thank you so much for the great service!

An amazing visit to Bama RV!

I can clearly state that Dave and his team are one of the best businesses to work with in the area.

**Ed Savage, the GM, called me and we walked through the issues at hand. Ed seemed to genuinely…read morecare, or he's just really good at his job. :) :) I will return to this location but may avoid working with certain Sales Mgrs. Thanks Ed for your conversation and understanding. DeFuniak Springs FL Sales Department = F- Service Department = A+ Parts Department = B+ You do not succeed as a sales manager, nor get promoted into the position, by being an honest salesman. This is especially true when you meet Joe Steffen, the sales manager at this branch. Without writing a novel, Joe sat 18-inches from me and looked into my eyes to tell me multiple service department employees were lying to me, all the while he was telling bald-face lies to my face. Service department employees can't stand him, as he tells lies about them. Joe promises the world but then refuses to deliver on those promises. After robbing me on my trade and making thousands off me on a new sale, he refused to have the service department perform required steps he had promised to me minutes before. "I'll have them help you Mr. ____. We will make this right for you." He calls the service department and tells them I can do it myself and he's not helping me at all if it costs him a dime. Fast forward two days when I had to bring my camper back because of a water leak; I walk in to the dealership and check-in for my service appointment. Joe looks directly at me so I wave and smile. He turns his nose up and never says a word. I come back to pick up my camper later that day and Joe passes me three times, looks directly at me, and turns his head. He's within feet of me and turns his nose up. Is this the type of person you want representing you in a deal? Is this the type of dealer you want to spends tens of thousands of dollars with? Had I not already have unloaded my trade-in and moved everything over, I'd have walked away because of this single individual that didn't learn how to tell the truth in grade school. When an organization this size allows an individual to act like this, then I can't believe it's the first time they've seen this behavior. I'd dare to say they are overly aware of this adult acting in such a manner. The customer deserves better.

My wife and I purchased a used 2017 RV with 12,000 miles on August 1, 2025. Before buying, we were…read moretold the RV had gone through an "extensive inspection," and we were charged for that inspection as part of the sale. The unit was sold as‑is, but we were assured it was safe and road‑ready. After only two short trips, we discovered a major safety hazard involving the slide‑out. The bottom of the slide showed rust, grooves, and soft spots. Inside, we found that someone had placed an end table over the damaged area and bolted it to the floor with L‑brackets, preventing anyone from seeing the soft spot. The couch had also been altered -- the legs were removed and the couch was mounted to a wall bracket -- again hiding the rotted floor underneath. When we removed the brackets, my wife nearly fell through the floor. This was not minor wear and tear -- this was a structural failure that posed a real risk of injury. This type of rot does not happen overnight. It should have been caught during any legitimate inspection, especially one we paid for. At minimum, it should not have been concealed behind furniture modifications. When I brought this to the dealership, the first response was simply "as‑is, no warranty," with no concern for the fact that someone could have been seriously hurt. The service contract I purchased also did not cover it. One service employee did send photos to management, but despite multiple calls and three in‑person visits, the GM never returned a single call. The lack of accountability and the complete disregard for a clear safety issue is unacceptable. I'm a local customer, and I expected honesty and basic concern for customer safety. Instead, once the sale was made, the dealership showed no interest in addressing a dangerous condition that should have been identified long before this RV was put on the lot. Buyers deserve transparency and a dealership that takes safety seriously. Based on my experience, that is not what I received.
