I purchased a Furrion Chill Cube air conditioner from Camping World in Dothan less than 30 days…read moreago. I installed it and used it one time without issue. On the second use, the unit stopped cooling completely. I went back to Camping World expecting them to stand behind a product they had sold me less than a month earlier. Instead, I was told I would have to deal directly with the manufacturer. I understand that manufacturer warranties ultimately go through the manufacturer, but when a product fails almost immediately, I expect the retailer to make some effort to support the customer and the product they sold. What made the experience worse was how it was handled. The service counter staff were short and dismissive, and speaking with the manager did not improve the situation. There was very little effort to help resolve the problem or even acknowledge the frustration of having a brand new unit fail right away. To be fair, the manufacture (Furrion/Lippert) has been responsive so far, and I appreciate their assistance. My complaint is specifically about Camping World of Dothan and the lack of after-sale customer service. A brand new air conditioner shouldn't fail after essentially one use, and a customer shouldn't feel abandoned less than 30 days after spending their money. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to purchase another major RV component or anything else from this location. Selling the product is one thing. How you handle a problem afterward says much more.

It wasn't until we set up an appointment for our independent certified RV inspector to come to Camping World to perform a full inspection on the motorhome we wanted, that they decided to disclose the motorhomes hidden damage to us, which ultimately ended the purchase process. At this stage, knowing how expensive hidden damage can be, we won't buy any RV without an independent inspection. The folks that work there are definitely friendly and we'll still shop at Camping World, but it won't be for anything as major as a motorhome.

We found Jerry was able to install a replacement toilet the next day. It wasn't an easy job. The first new toilet he brought from the supplier was found broken when the box was opened on site. It was an awning/slide topper sticking and causing the slide out to jump when being extended. He adjusted the topper hardware to solve the problem. My front air conditioner would not come on.
