I went in for a simple tire rotation. The staff weren't friendly at all or communicative about services. I noticed after my tire rotation that my car drifted slightly to the right so I took it back in for them to check it out. Instead of communicating that they felt my car had no issues, they then performed a service on my car without my consent. when I question staff member Corey Blalock as why they put the tires back to how they were pre-service I was given different reasons. First he said it was because my tires were unevenly worn.( I have a 2025 nissan Sentra that had less than 5,000 miles at the time of service.) Then he stated it was because of the uneven roads of Dothan. When I questioned why they would put them back after I paid for the rotation, he stated they "fixed the problem/complaint I had"(leaving me to believe it was done out of spite because of my "complaint".)Then when I further pushed the issue about it, I was met with a condescending-attitude, with him stating that he could've charged me for a service I was unaware of and how they switched them back for "free" as if they were doing me a favor. He was not helpful at all and I could tell he did not care to fix the issue and I left without the issue being resolved. read more

We recently purchased a used Jeep Wrangler from Bondy's Nissan, and I was extremely pleased with the entire experience. I did my due diligence, I was prepared for the sales tricks that dozens of websites warn you about. And since it was a pre-owned vehicle, I was especially ready for anything. It turns out I didn't need to waste my time reading the 'horror' stories about dealing with other dealers. The entire process at Bondy's was extremely easy, the pricing was great, and there were none of the 'tricks' that you hear of with other dealers. I had no problem with the purchase of my vehicle, but I do have a problem when I was told because I didn't have but one key fob, that THEY would pay for another one. I tried several time to get one through the person that comes to their shop on Friday. I even agreed to meet the guy on a Wednesday, which we discuss prior to me coming to Dothan. The Locksmith was never available, so I went someone else to get the fob, mind you they said hey would pay if I found someone to do it. Tell me why when I got the key fob done and I paid for it and sent them the invoice for reimbursement, they only paid me a THIRD of what I paid for the fob. THEY JUST LIED, THEY DIDN'T REIMBUSE ME THE FULL AMOUNT. Then had the nerve to say I should have had it done with them. Tell me how when the guy was never available. read more

This service department can't perform a simple alignment. Don't trust them for anything else. I brought my van in for service and was told that it was time for an alignment (it was driving just fine and not pulling to one side of the other). I let them do it...what a mistake. After they performed the "alignment" the van was pulling hard to the left. I brought it back, they kept it for 2 more days and didn't do a damned thing. They told me that the suspension in my 4 year old van was worn out and needed replacing and they couldn't align it. When I receive the paper work for the "service" the reason for the bad alignment was written out as bad tires. My tires were brand new. So, they lied to my face or they lied on paper...either way, they lied. I took my van to another dealership when I moved away from god forsaken Dothan...and what do you know...perfectly aligned, no lies about suspension or tires. Just a van driving perfectly straight. Bondy's Nissan is a liar and incompetent service tech infested dealership. Avoid at all costs. read more

I just drove down to Bondy's from Decatur, GA on MLK day to purchase a used car on their lot (and drove back that same night). Since I originally found the deal on autotrader.com, I had email contact with their customer service reps, Courtney and Anna. Both were helpful, and Anna went through the trouble of talking to the manager to get their final offer price with taxes included to tell me over the phone before I decided to drive down. Chris Prather was the salesman who helped me with the test drive and purchase. Professional, friendly, and knowledgable, he made the buying process very smooth. Because I traded in my old car, I had to wait a while for an appraisal to be done. Everything was done fairly, and out in the open. They go through a carfax report with you, as well as a kelley blue book report so that everyone is clear on where their offer price is and how/why it's relatively reasonable. Growing up in the 80's and 90's, going to car dealerships was always a pain because you felt like you were always being ripped off in one way or another because you couldn't see certain costs incorporated into the final price. It's so much better working with dealers like Bondy's. No nonsense, friendly, open, and relatively efficient. (I did end up spending about 4 hours there). The finance manager was even named Michael L.....same last name pronunciation, but different spelling. :-) If you're buying from out-of-state, make sure you bring your title and registration! :-) read more

It's actually more like 2 1/2 stars. I bought a used car Nissan Rogue Sport from Bondy's Nissan on 5/21/2021. On 7/6, after driving from AL to ME for the summer, I took it to a dealership nearby because I was having trouble starting the car. I was told the battery needed to be replaced. They also checked the brakes & told me the rear brakes are at 3 mm (should be 8) & needed to be replaced. After an angry call to Greg West, sales manager at Bondy's, they agreed to reimburse me for the battery but not for the brakes. He admitted to me that at the time of sale the battery was "marginal" and the brakes were "in the yellow". I was informed today (7/13) that the check is in the mail and they still refuse to do anything about the brakes. I have also requested a copy of any pre-sale inspection that was done but so far have not received a reply to that request. I was also told the reason my rear windshield wiper didn't wipe was because someone neglected to remove the plastic cover on the wiper blade & I will have to replace the wiper arm because it is loose. By the way, I love the car. It drives like a dream & gets great gas mileage. I'm just not happy about what amounts to neglect in prepping the car for sale. read more

I was in the market to buy a car for the first time, and had been to numerous dealerships in Dothan. None of them had what I was looking for. I decided to try out Bondy's as a last ditch effort before I had to find a car in another location. As soon as I pulled up, TK was able to direct me to a number of cars that were within my price range and seemed to be very reliable. I finally settled on a 2014 Hyundai Sonata because it was well within my price range and drove like a dream. I already wrote a review about how I found it exasperating when turning in a lease vehicle to Bondy's Nissan in Dothan, AL. Well, I have an update. I have leased up to six vehicles in my time and just turned in a Nissan Rogue SL with only 15,000 miles on it (of a 36,000 miles lease) to Bondy's. It was also in perfect showroom condition. Well, yesterday, I received a BILL for $400.00 from Nissan as a DISPOSITION FEE on the vehicle. So watch carefully for these sneaky tricks to make more money from the customer on a lease arrangement. I should have caught it in the original lease contract. If I had, I would not have accepted the vehicle. As a result, I plan to never go near a Nissan dealer in the future and tell all of my friends and associates about the so-call Disposition Fees. The car was in perfect condition and I had to pay $400.00 just to drive it back on the lot. What a ripoff! No other dealer required me to do that. read more

General Manager doesn't believe in service after the sell and has ruined how we feel about the Bondys family of dealerships. We bought a new vehicle (2017) and it has had all electrical system replaced (radio, nav, etc) and is now having work on the transmission (30k miles only) which has put me out of a vehicle once again. Yet This GM feels no responsibility to provide us with "like" transportation while it's being repaired. Our time, our money and our being inconvenienced is of zero consequence to him. Our hands maybe tied at current, but one thing is certain, we would never buy from any Bondys dealership because of him and our experience. Buyer beware, as long as all goes well you may have a good experience here, but if you end up paying over 40k to drive a lemon like us, you will see a much different side. I plan to continue to make people aware of the true side of doing business here to hopefully save someone else the headache we are enduring. Oh and in case you're reading this and wondering, they have done all service to our vehicle since purchase and continue to "patch" it back up til the next visit. That being said, the GM is truly the worst person I have had to deal with in what should be a professional setting. If you think he will care about you and your business, make no mistake, he will only care about getting you to buy to help his paycheck. After that, good luck! there are some really good staff there, but their hands are tied to help. I can honestly say he is the only one we have had a horrible experience with which is sad since with his position he should be the one wanting repeat business the most. I had previously thought Bondy's was a great dealership (other than the service department). I can now tell you that they lie to you to sell you extras during the car buying process. If you are unlucky enough to actually have to use these things watch out and expect to have to put money out! I purchased the GAP insurance and unfortunately had an accident that totaled the vehicle. I was told that the GAP would cover anything that the insurance didn't cover. It was a flat out lie! They tried to say it was my insurance companies fault but the bottom line is they lied to me. I asked them to cover the 700.00 that the GAP did not pay and the general manager said he would give me 700.00 if I purchased a vehicle. I told them we weren't replacing the vehicle and he said that was the only way he would do it. He acknowledges that they were wrong by offering to write me a check but only if I buy another car. Bottom line is they did not disclose what GAP would not cover and the document that was signed does not tell you either. I am very disappointed with Bondy's Nissan and it's management. I had always recommended them but now I will never recommend them again. Also they pay you to write a good review for them which makes me wonder about the honesty in all these reviews. read more
