Asked them if they could do plug/coil change for a single misfire, they told me to drive into town 30 minutes and had me wait over 2 hours only to say can't do anything today so obviously I have to drive it home like this. They've fixed a couple things in the past but please listen to me, DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE THEY WILL WASTE YOUR TIME! These folks aren't incapable but they have zero respect for customers time. We were traveling from Santa Rosa beach back to Decatur, Ga & my husband noticed a nail in our tire when we stopped for gas. I quickly googled nearby tire stores & saw we were 15 miles from Scott Stevens Tires. Though the store was jam packed, Mr. Stevens helped us immediately! He was extremely jovial & proud of his impressive 'Bama & other football memorabilia, that he has adorning all the walls of the store. I can't imagine what his man room or basement looks like at home! I kidded with him about not really being an Alabama fan. The whole visit was about 30 minutes. He refused to take payment from us & was most interested in knowing our names & showing us kindness. He is a prince amongst men. Thank you, kind sir. Do not go here. you will wait an absurd amount of time. I can tell you it will not take 2 hours for one tire being put on the rim. It's literally a 10 min job. they tell you to wait for something then don't do it in a reasonable amount of time. read more

If you like the idea of having your expensive vehicle left outside unlocked with the windows down and keys visible in the console on Ross Clark Circle go ahead. Pay with a credit card and they push the fees on YOU, pay with cash. I recommend unrolled nickels. Nice guy, great at glad handing and talking the talk, business practices need work. Place is filled with sports memorabilia, if you're a Bama fan it's worth a visit just as a museum of keepsakes. I came for tires and professional service. I got tires. Scott Stevens has been in business along time and it's because of their quality service and fair prices. I highly recommend this shop! Be aware that because this is a A+ rated shop, customers get there early (as in lined up before they open). Scott Stevens does a terrific job of handling this load day after day. I happen to be waiting this day for my truck to be finished when one of their "regular" customers came in stating her warning message popped up "add oil" and she was coming for an oil change next week as her schedule for the day was very tight. The managers stopped what they were doing and added oil to her car and when she asked about how much she owes he responded we will take care of next week and have a good day. We used to get tires here for four vehicles and 3 rvs but I don't know what has happened to the business. I hate to leave anyone a bad review but do not sucker me into coming to you with a 1 hour in and out promise and 3 hours later you have not even begun to touch my vehicle. He showed us many different options and even had two different sets of tires delivered to the store for us to view. He was very knowledgeable regarding tire ratings, tread composition, and was able to compare and contrast several different tire types/manufacturers for our application. I'm not a customer but my daughter is, even after two mishaps. She bought a battery and they forgot or misplaced the battery hold down bracket. They ordered a new bracket and installed it. She had her oil changed and within a week I checked the oil and there wasn't enough to even register on the dip stick. They didn't find any oil leak. They added the necessary oil. I personally would not do business with a company that I have to check on their work and had probably caused some engine damage from the lack of proper oil level. My daughter is too easy going to sue but I'm not. read more
