We were headed home from vacation in Florida when we noticed we had a bad tire. My husband did not want to drive that far and was calling dealerships and tire stores to find a somewhere to get a new tire. We also did not want to pay a ton of money for one tire. He called and spoke to Megan who was very helpful and called around to find the right size tire for us. They were waiting for us when we got there and got us in right away. It only took them an hour to replace the tire. They even told us where we could get lunch within walking distance for a family of 5. Best part is that it only cost $170 for the tire, mounting and balancing. If we didn't live several states away, this would be where we get our tires!! read more

While traveling to the beach, I got a flat tire on my BMW 430i. If you know anything about these cars, the tires are different sizes. I arrived at the store around 6:30 when the store closes at 7 thinking they we would be able to patch the tire and I could keep driving but the inside wall was ruined. When I say, these guys worked with me. They did just that. Earl was my service advisor and a godsend. I ended up having to stay one night in Dothan but the very next morning, they were working on my car and got me back on the road. A.J. even drove to the hotel to pick up my keys since I didn't leave them at the store the night before. I have NEVER received such outstanding customer service! If I could give 10 stars I would! I came here for a tire balance and I also requested that they change out the left front tire pressure sensor but they said they couldn't get the part. I walked over to Autozone which is directly behind the shop and found a tire pressure sensor for my car. I came back and asked if they could install it and Brandon (manager) said NO because I didn't buy the part from them. I then asked could they purchase the part from Autozone and Brandon said NO because they didn't have the tools to install it. So I told him someone needed to help me and he decided to take my car off the ramp and return it to me without doing any work to it. I took my car to Jim Whaley and got all the work done without any issue. This was the absolute worst experience ever. The manager Brandon was extremely rude and unhelpful. I normally don't like to do negative reviews. I believe in loyalty and have used Firestone Service Centers and ordered tires, have had oil changes and alignments and used their products for several years. Wanted specific tires, said they would have to order and will get back to me as soon as they get a status. Crickets! I called back was told they didn't make tires any longer. Provided no recommendation or suitable replacement offered. There was an older gentleman working there probably former military, he was all over it, the new manager seems a little overwhelmed. I bought all new tires and got an oil change. The clowns at Firestone did not push my oil stick back in. They left it half way out and slammed the hood over it bending it in half. I left there on a 1000 mile trip and had all kinds of problems. The computer was going wild....On Star notified me....and all that was wrong was the oil stick left out by the baffoon at Firestone. I've been using this Firestone for 20+ years and have been satisfied with the service. This last brake change I had done in February I'm not happy with. I did the recommend pads and resurface rotors and I have nothing but squeaks every time I applied the brakes. I was advised to drive them for 2 weeks and then come back if it was still making noise. Today I was able to get it to them to look at and advised now the rotors need replaced. After their recommendation of resurface by their tech they all 4 now needs to be replaced. If I did what you recommended and now it needs to be replaced how is that my issue? After $490 now they want $400 (discounted rate) @Firestone you can see how loyal of a customer I've been over these years... how is your techs ability to resurface my rotors my issue and not yours if I did what you recommended? You did not call me to tell me it needed replaced while you were working on it! I mean this store usually calls every oil change with a suggestion of something to replace. Never again will I take any motor vehicle to Firestone in dothan. I took my chevy malibu car up to firestone in dothan to get a egr valve replaced. It costed 215$ in total. The next day my check engine light cane back on again for a defaulted egr valve. took it back and was told a refund could not be possible. So thanks firestone for robbing me. long story short they acted like they replaced it then relied on the warranty as a backfall. read more

This is my first Yelp review. I had been told by an sweet older auto parts salesman (not related to Firestone) that I needed to get a loose connection checked, so I scheduled an appt. with Firestone in Dothan, AL, Monday via webpage. Brandon called to clarify a few things and gave me a quote based on the information I was told--$165. He also said the master mechanic would have to squeeze me in because his day was full and to plan on a long-ish wait. Not only was I there for only 35 minutes, but the master mechanic--wish I had gotten his name-- diagnosed and repaired the problem for $25. It was NOT a connection issue as I had been told. These guys could've charged me the entire amount; I would have never known. They were honest, professional, courteous, and accommodating. I definitely recommend Firestone in Dothan and will use them again. read more

I was a hot mess Mom today driving home to Florida from Atlanta and I do not normally drive through Dothan _ I prefer the back roads- but when I started noticing my car was louder than usual I got more and more worried. I knew Dothan would have a Honda dealer, but their service department wasn't open on Saturday and it was getting close to 5:00 so they suggested this Firestone. These guys didn't know what to think of me I'm sure, all stressed out with two little girls in the car, which was totally over packed from our road trip- but they quickly took control and discovered the issue and now we'll be headed home tomorrow by noon and they even helped us unpack my car and one of the guys who finished his work day shuttled the girls and me and all our stuff to our hotel nearby. Just can't thank these guys enough for helping calm my nerves and get my car in working order. read more

I come here fairly regularly. My reason for three stars is complete lack of communication on wait time. I scheduled an appointment days ago for 11 am and arrived at 10:30 am. It's now 11:45 am and I'm still waiting for my car to be taken in still. When I approached an employee about the time he stated they were really busy and behind. I voiced my concern about being nice to have been told about that when I arrived and all he could say was yes ma'am. I've seen this happen to others before as well. Now that I'm in their shoes I see why others get upset. Car taken back at 12 pm, 12:20 pm it's done. I needed a tire rotation, battery check and window issue. When the employee was checking me out, I asked what the battery & window issue was. He said my car had to be pulled back in as they failed to check. This location really needs to work on their communication skills with customers and each other. I'm about at the point that they will be losing my business. read more
