Called Ferguson initially mostly because the reviews seemed decent. Our initial inquiry was responded to promptly and an estimator visited our house a few days later to give us a quote. It was the visit from the estimator that clinched it for us. Juville was so professional and thorough. Asked about things we hadn't even thought of. Made some excellent suggestions. My initial reaction to the quoted price was that it was higher than expected, but considering what the sketchy / overly complicated options were coming in at, it wasn't actually that much more. And Juville clearly knew what she was doing, which was extremely reassuring. We really appreciated that she came to our house, prepared a detailed written estimate on the spot, and left us to think about it, without any pressure. We called her back, booked the move and paid our deposit. On moving day we had the worst possible rain (and that's saying something in Vancouver). The movers were organized and professional, and the rain didn't slow them down at all. When the truck was weighed it was very close to what Juville had estimated on our written quote. Our goods arrived safely at the other end. No damage, nothing missing. For the quoted price, no surprises. I would definitely recommend Ferguson and would use them again.

I don't try to set up complicated moves, but somehow that's the kind I seem to specialise in; there were so many ways this move could have been an enormous pain, but it wasn't at all--because Warren and his crew handled it efficiently, carefully, promptly, and professionally, just like before. They are positively craftsmanlike in every aspect of their work. Clear and honest communication, clear and reasonable pricing, zero damage. There's just not even the smallest reason to complain here. I'd give 'em six stars if I could! I repeat myself also on this point: if you will ask and take Warren's advice about what kinds of boxes to use (and what kinds *not* to use), your move will be faster, safer, and easier for everyone involved, including you.

I have never heard back from the asshole Warren after I gave him my deposit and I have also filed a police report for Fraud with the VPD. The movers showed up on time--and in this day and age, that's basically a magic trick. Polite, efficient, and so quiet I barely noticed my couch was flying out the door. They wrapped the whole move in exactly 3 hours, just as quoted, even though I padded an extra hour thinking "no way they'll nail it." And the cherry on top? Best price I was quoted and the smoothest payment process ever. Invoice arrived as the move wrapped up, paid online with Visa in seconds. Stress-free, surprise-free, and somehow... enjoyable? 10/10 would let them lift all my heavy stuff again.
