This is an unassuming tavern on a street under construction in the historic district. But the dust outside did not come inside. (We did not opt for the outside tables in the sidewalk.) Inside is a classic pub, with dark wood, and a well appointed bar. The anomaly is that this old school tavern is staffed by a group of young people who are friendly and attentive. The seafood gumbo was good, with several types of seafood, and rich smokey andouille. The crab cake sandwich was exactly what we wanted on a trip through Maryland, and I uncharged mine with a side salad A good crab cake is meant to be eaten in a little hole in the wall tavern, and this is that kind of place.

Must get reservations or you sit next to the door with cold air every time the door opens. The food was good, seafood OK not like the Eastern Shore of Maryland! The crab was a bit dry in both the cake and the oysters Gino. The Marsala was perfect! Taco salad was large and delicious. The roman-laude sauce was delicious as was the bourbon chicken.

Stopped in on a Friday night. Service seemed slow and we were seated at a high table next to the window. Through the entire experience, our service seemed much slower than it should have been because the place was def not busy, but our drinks and food all took 2x longer than they should have. Everything was good though; catfish Po-boy and Philly cheesesteak. Def should not have taken 1+ hours for our trip though.

Penny Pup dining on her favorite chewy stick. Not part of the Baltimore Grill but she's so cute, I had to share.

Really good cooking going on at this little eatery. We came to Cumberland Maryland to ride our bikes on the Allegheny Trail. Out of all the restaurants we went to during our stay this was our favorite. We had the Catfish Pontchartrain which was really delicious in a light creole sauce with peppers & onions. It came with a salad and the vegetable of the day which was a zucchini medley. The zucchini medley was sooooo tasty, I could've eaten a giant bowl of it. Got a side of rice and beans, which was very good and authentic, served with slices of sausage. A gem of a place.

Wait staff was friendly and quick. The inside and outside had a decent amount of seating. I ate the taco salad inside of the tortilla shell and it was the best taco salad I've ever had. I would definitely get it again. I ordered a side of fries and honestly, they were just ok. I didn't need them. My friend ordered the cheesesteak and she said it was pretty good!

Baltimore Street Grill is located in the heart of downtown Cumberland, Maryland. It's a small, pub-style restaurant that serves Cajun, Italian and American dishes ranging from etouffe, scampi and pizza. I ordered the catfish po' boy sandwich. The catfish was cooked well and flavorful, but the rest of the sandwich was pretty plain. The wait staff is very nice and attentive, and the outdoor seating provided a nice atmosphere for dinner on a Saturday evening. Baltimore Street Grill is a nice place to visit if you're in the area and want a quick bite to eat.

A small bar currently in the middle of a construction zone. Friendly staff, all our food was delicious, and once the construction is done with will be much cuter outside the restaurant. Kind of hard to get to currently. Our wings were delicious, jazzy and mild cooked perfectly, fries yum and also the crab chicken sandwich !'

Today Tony and I had lunch in Cumberland MD at The Baltimore Street Grill on Baltimore Street in downtown Cumberland. We found free on street parking near by and walked over the restaurant. Lovely outside dining available but it was so hot today like 95 degrees so we opted to dine inside. We were greeted and seated quickly. Tony ordered a Budweiser and I got Unsweetened Iced Tea with lemon and lime. We opted to order a small Pepperoni Pizza with onions and jalapenos and BELIEVE ME... DELICIOUS IS NOT THE BEST WORD....this Pizza was OUTSTANDING!!! PLENTY of Sauce and Tons of cheese... everything was perfect!!! Honestly couldn't find one thing wrong!! Waitress was extremely attentive.I know more than got my glass half empty and she was there to fill it up. The tea was very good too, brewed perfectly!! Price was great!!! We both left full and satisfied. I hope you go and experience dining there!!!

Great service, good beer selection and delicious food. Try the catfish nuggets and the tuna sandwich! We went back a second time.

Maryland crab cakes are my favorite meal. I never miss a chance to indulge when I travel through…read moreMaryland. I was excited to see great reviews for JB Seafood, located only a mile off US70. The shop is in a charming small historic building. We found parking behind the building. There was a steady stream of people going into the market. They sell fresh seafood to go and a selection of dine-in options. Many of the seafood prices are listed as Market Price. The crab sandwich was $23 with tax and there is an up-charge for use of credit card. The crabcake is thick with lump crabmeat. My sandwich was perfectly seasoned and prepared in authentic Maryland style. The bun with lettuce and tomato fresh were and tasty, too. The sandwich was perfection. The service was efficient. The clerk didn't waste time with pleasantries. The food takes awhile to prepare. I waited about 15 minutes after I ordered as they fresh bake the crab cakes. A tip jar sits by the cash register. The place is cute inside decorated in a harbor/seafood theme. There are 5 tables inside and 2 counters that seat 4 people each. It's the kind of place that you'd meet a friend for lunch and a beer and hang out. There are a couple of Adirondack chairs out front. A tv monitor was playing basketball reruns. The crab cakes can be purchased unbaked to go (along with a host of other seafood). There is a small full bar and coke products. They also serve ice cream, which is what many of the families were stopping for on this hot summer day. I will make JB's a regular stop on my way through Maryland. Well worth a visit.

One of the friendliest places I have been to. Nothing fancy but THE FOOD!!! Omg. Had a…read moresoft-shell crab sandwich with the biggest soft-shell! It was delish. And they offered to sauté it instead of deep fry. Definitely gets points for that. The place is small so if you want to eat in, go early before the crowd. They also do a lot of takeout business. We went there because it was close to 70 and had great rating. Not disappointed. Easy on, easy off highway. We would have gone again on our way back from our trip, but they are closed on Mondays. There is a parking lot in the back.
