Soft shell crab sandwich was yummy!
Harv K.

Quick service great food! The crab soup and soft shell crab were very tasty. Loved the place!

I thought this place was decent! We wanted some lunch on our road trip back home. The inside was kind of dark so opted to sit outside. Was a bit busy but found a shade table when some people were leaving. The food took a bit but I enjoyed my soft shell crab sandwich. It's usually super pricey in other restaurants so I think the price was good for what I got! It's in a cute tourist area for Cumberland which I didn't even know existed. Definitely a cool place to check out.

Clams were good (very small, easy to overcook)

Very busy spot. So thats a good sign that it's delicious! We waited (back at the hotel) for just half an hour, since we didn't have reservations. Nice large booth. Waitress was ON IT! Very attentive despite being very busy! Good wine for me, Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. A definite would love to visit again. Some items not photographed coconut shrimp and ribs! My tummy just wasn't big enough to enjoy it all!!

Good crabs. Great soup. Terrific service. Prices weren't too high. Zero complaints. Would definitely return.

Great food courteous staff! Love the location! Recommended by brewery around the corner

Beer, food and service were all very good. We regret not ordering a tray of crabs as they looked great.

I ordered the seafood special and there was nothing special. Frozen bay scallops, frozen small shrimp, and frozen spinach in a diluted sauce. It would have been better to ordered buttered noodles. Drinks were fine, stocked bar, friendly employees. Poor food and not worth the $.

My wife and I went to City Lights for a late lunch on our Anniversary. We arrived around 3:05. No…read moreother customers were there. A guy I assumed was the owner or manager was sitting at the bar watching TV and doing a crossword puzzle. A few minutes later we ordered a burger (well done) and a blackened salmon wrap. And then we waited. And waited. At 3:42pm I asked about the food, noting how long we were waiting. The waitress said it was coming right up (our waitress was kind and understanding). However, the owner grumbled at me that "the food is cooked to order." Ok. Great. I told the owner we only ordered a burger and a wrap and that doesn't take almost 40 minutes cooked to order, especially considering the place was empty. The owner got up and started talking back aggressively and in an irritated tone about how we didn't wait that long. I repeated that it doesn't take that long to cook a burger. I asked if he treated all his customers like this. If the owner is reading this: Here's a tip. Get off your behind and manage the restaurant. Don't blame the customer when the cook takes forever. Instead say, "I'm sorry it took so long we will get right on that" and then pop back in the kitchen to see what is happening. I'm so sorry that customers interrupted your important crossword puzzle. My "well done" burger was burned. I wanted it cooked through not a piece of charcoal. Not good. And my wife's salmon wrap did not have a lot of salmon. For what we got, it was very expensive. The waitress was excellent, but the service from the cook and management was abysmal. We will not be going back there again, which is too bad because as locals have enjoyed going to City Lights during the summer to sit on the patio for dinner.

Lots on the menu, salads could be a whole lot fresher... twice now i've gotten one and its just ok. Onion soup is ok.... Flat bead pizza ... ok. I loved to say it's great ... but cannot! :((

The place isn't fancy but it was clean and had a small town atmosphere. Families were there with their children and grandparents. The waitresses knew many of the customers by name. The menu has a variety of choices from hot/cold sandwiches to pasta, steaks, seafood, chicken, salad and soups. Everything we had was delicious. The buffalo dip appetizer was not too spicy and had a tangy flavor from the blue cheese in it. My Reuben was HUGE. I could only eat half of it. The crinkle fries were tasty and the homemade ranch dressing was perfect for dipping. My son got the chili and he and my husband couldn't stop talking about it. It was just the right amount to spice but a little sweet as well. My other son had the crabby chicken melt and it was smothered in crab dip and cheese. We usually avoid seafood when we aren't close to the water but we made an exception since it was MD and we weren't disappointed. I don't recall our server's name but she was super sweet, friendly and gave us updates periodically on our order. She was also quick to get our drinks refilled. We will definitely return if we are in the area again.
