    Drink bucket

I've visited a couple of times at Atlantic City. It's convenient to grab drinks near the beach but for food, they had limited options when we visited (September 2022). They had a smaller menu and we got the chicken tenders and fries which was almost $20 which was very steep. We did order a drink bucket which was very strong and well worth the money. I would recommend for drinks but save your money to grab food elsewhere.

Let's do this again for some drinking money at the Bally's Beach Bar tonight!

Summertime Casino gambling at the shore The sea breezes on the beach Cold beer and potent cocktails Sexy bikini clad waitresses working the deck Drink specials throughout the week Bar food menu to munch on Pumping music and live bands Plenty of seating to hang out on and people watch Hot chicks and meathead guys strutting their stuff on the dance floor A bit pricey but worth the fun beachy scene It's kind of cool in a low-brow way that keeps us coming back whenever we are here for a weekend getaway Oh yeah, we'll be back here this weekend with a frosty brew in hand partying at the shore! Maybe it has all to do with us visiting on a Sunday night, but we had a GREAT time. There was no cover and they were mostly playing dancehall and r&b, which went just perfect with the summer breeze. The drinks are very pricey, however when we complained to our waitress she brought out shots to add to our drinks. I felt bad for her working in that tiny bikini, she was shivering the entire time! Ladies wear wedges if you want to wear heels my heel kept getting stuck in the boardwalk panels. Ugh! I absolutely believe the day you visit makes all the difference at this beach bar. Know you will be paying top dollar for weak cocktails but you may have fun dancing in the summer wind. Or heat depending on the time.

The dj was pretty bad, house band was worse, beer was great. The night was pretty much a bunch of white folk dancing while everyone else sat there highly entertained. if i have to listen to "don't stop believing" or "livin on a prayer" again I might just hang myself. 5$ coors light aluminum bottles, nice atmosphere, nice view...not a bad friday night overall ... i'd come again.

    Trash Can Nachos - Yum!

I've been here several times over the years and it's always a good time. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and they offer a decent selection of both alcohol and food. There is also live music. I came here once during Memorial Day Weekend and it was pretty wild. Our waitress was attentive and checked on us multiple times. We had several beers and the Trash Can Nachos - haha. They are actually a lot tastier than the name implies. They come in a ridiculously-sized tub - think of fried chicken tubs from KFC. Yeah. It's a tub of mystery - a little of this and a little of that. You never really know what you are biting into. So anyway, we were at least happy to have something to munch on because after all, we're day drinking at 2-3pm and by the time we left around 5pm, we were pretty buzzed. We would have been wasted but the nachos helped absorb some of the alcohol we consumed haha. Make sure to wear some sunblock if you are going on a sunny day like today - I'm sure I have some new freckles and a slight burn from this afternoon!!! Cheers!

Check your wallet at the door and your receipt very carefully. Went here on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon. My first impression was positive and there was a dj playing thumpy music. Overall a decent atmosphere. We waited almost 10 minutes for our server who was pleasant. We ordered some $6 beers and a $11 pina colada. Much to my surprise when we were ready to settle up the waitress told us that the beers were $7.25. I showed her the $6 price on the menu and started mumbling about resort and luxury taxes. There was a section on the menu saying that the 10% NJ tax was included in the price. I hope I was pleasant enough to our server but I flat out refuse to be ripped off. She got the manager Matthew who mumbled the same stuff about the taxes. Guys -there is no combination of taxes that raise the price of a $6 beer to $7.25. Eventually the manager adjusted the tab but it took forever and was somewhat embarrassing. As I sit here at the beach with my group of friends we have decided not to go back there for drinks. What a scam. I wholeheartedly suggest that this establishment publish all fees and taxes on their menu. There is no way on gods green earth that a miller lite qualifies as a luxury tax item. I warn anybody going here to be very wary of the pricing structure.

This was a nice spot! They had great drink specials and different options for happy hour. They had a nice live band playing and attentive staff. This was a great break between the beach and the casino.

It was the middle of the day so the place was pretty empty. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very cool. She had some good shows on TV and she poured heavy. The bar had a bunch of funny signs all over the place. It's a chill dive bar and I'm sure on a busy night it's probably a great place to grab an unpretentious drink. We found out we could buy drinks from BS and bring them next door which get you around the whole no alcohol situation. I mean, if you're going to Bare Exposure in the daytime, you might want to grab a stiff drink beforehand.

We were 2 of the only people sitting at the bar with our empty glasses right in front of us waiting (we waited for about 20 minutes). We couldn't believe it! We were given the wrong change and it was just a mess! Hopefully it was just an off night but we unfortunately will not be back.

BAD BUNNY FOREVER!! HUELEBICHOS…read more My experience at Ducktown Tavern was beyond unacceptable. From the second we walked in, the hostility was obvious. The staff was cold, dismissive, and openly rude -- not just inattentive, but deliberately disrespectful. The looks, the tone, the body language -- everything about the interaction felt degrading. As Latinos, we were made to feel unwelcome and unwanted. It was painfully clear that we were not being treated with the same basic courtesy given to others. No one should ever walk into a restaurant and feel judged or looked down on simply for who they are. To make matters worse, the place was dirty and poorly maintained, and the food was mediocre at best. For the way we were treated, the quality of the meal didn't even matter -- the experience was already ruined. There is absolutely no excuse for making customers feel uncomfortable or disrespected. I would strongly caution anyone who values dignity and professionalism to think twice before spending their money here.

OK (emphasis on just OK) locals spot that's about a 5-6 minute walk from Caesars and 10 minute walk…read morefrom Tropicana on Atlantic Avenue, a couple blocks inland from Boardwalk Hall. Been coming to Atlantic City for many (15+) years but checked this spot out for the first time a couple Sundays ago to watch the Eagles game and because I'd heard the wings were good here. Although small, Ducktown is a nicely set up spot centered around a single long bar. Got their an hour or so before the Eagles game and there were a few seats left at the bar so I grabbed one. One thing that mildly irked me was the game of musical chairs played at the bar. Maybe 5 minutes after I sat down, an older lady asked me if I wouldn't mind switching seats with her to make room for some friends she had coming in later for the game (which I did). Minutes after that a handful of other customers were asked to shift down one seat so another customer could sit next to his buddies. So musical chairs seems to be a thing at this bar. For a small bar the menu is fairly extensive. Ordered a couple of IPAs at the bar. What's semi-ridiculous though is you can't order food directly from the bar; you have to order it from another server who will place the order at the adjacent tavern and bring the food back to you. Also the food and drink had to be processed as separate checks (as opposed to under just one check). I ordered the 10 pc. hot wings ($14.50) and the mozzarella sticks appetizer ($6.50 with appetizers being half off during Eagles games). The mozzarella sticks were OK but I didn't like the wings - they weren't "hot" at all and were drier than I expected... not sauced to the level I expected. Watched most of the game and headed out a couple hours later. One thing to note is this spot does charge a 2.89% "administrative" fee for all credit card purchases. Another thing to note is that the restaurant's credit card processing system is powered by Toast where the restaurant has the default "suggested tips" amounts set up as 20%, 40%, and 60% LOL. I've never in my life seen 40% and 60% as suggested tip amounts on the receipt/e-processing system, so be very careful what buttons you press to leave a tip here. I'd personally rate this place 2.5* due to what I thought were subpar wings and shady credit card processing but I decided to round up to 3 due to the server and waiter being nice enough people who provided pretty good service. May or may not return, there are definitely better pubs out there in AC. Decent spot to watch games if you're an Eagles fan though.

We also ordered fries and truffle fries (subbed instead of regular fries), and everything tasted fantastic. That said, the pricing gave me a little pause. About $75 for two burgers, truffle fries, and sodas felt steep, but honestly, the flavor helped justify it... at least a teeny bit. Later in the evening, we returned just for drinks and dessert, which were both solid. The espresso martinis were especially good (though at nearly $20 each, expectations are high), and we had more than a few. The only real downside was service during our second visit. When we let the staff know we weren't ordering food since we had already eaten earlier, our silverware and napkins were quickly cleared and our water glasses were taken as well. I had to request that water glasses stay and be filled, which felt awkward and honestly a bit dismissive, especially given the cost of the drinks we were ordering (4 of us). Overall, excellent food and drinks, but the service inconsistency took away from the experience. With more attentive hospitality, this would easily be a 5-star spot. Solid option and they can deliver to the room if you scan from the room. We ordered and asked for it to be delivered and they said they couldn't. We returned for breakfast the next day and the food was delicious and hot! Definitely delivered...
