Johnson window films are a reputable brand, and I was impressed by their brand quality after doing my research. 5. He doesn't remove door panels, which was a huge plus for me. I opted for the Johnson IR supreme window tint film, 45% around except for the front window, which was 70%. I wanted a super ceramic tint that would provide excellent heat retention without being too dark. And let me tell you, the front windshield tint was a game-changer - it's an absolute must-have for resisting heat. I will say that after driving all the way out to Marysville, my front window was a lot bigger than Armando anticipated. So he had to order a bigger roll, and I appreciated his honesty and willingness to make it right. He even came out to my house to finish the job - talk about dedication. After a couple of days, I rolled my windows down, and the cut lines looked like they were laser-cut by a machine. At first, the windows seemed a little darker than I expected, but after a couple of days, they lightened up beautifully. Armando had mentioned that the tint might be a little hazy at first, but it looked so clean and clear from day one. Wanted best tint for my windshield to cut down of heat and UV, similar to rest of car(best…read moreavailable). Side and rear are very noticeable reduction in heat transfer. Came to this shop as I thought it was AAP, and found out it was now under new ownership. I asked for the new clear tint for the windshield and the guy said he'd have to order it. He suggested I tint the windshield to match my doors and it would cut down the heat. I told him as long as they used the BEST tint available for heat and UV protection. He said he had that shade in stock, and I told him as long as it was the best product(ceramic tint). Waited a week and he called and said they could fit me in next day. Picked up car and noticed right away looking through windshield was not the same as rest of tinted windows. He said product takes a while to set up and dry completely. Noticed no change in clarity after a week, and was told may take longer. I knew then I'd been had. Took car to three different tint shops and was told same thing, very low quality tint product. Now it's starting to bubble. I have to have it removed and replaced with a quality product I should have gotten in the first place. It will be at a better shop of course. Sure wasted my money and time here.

Showed up, they walked me through what I wanted and how much it would cost, I left, there were done in 2-3 hours, I paid, that was it. Great experience. This last time was not. I dropped off my 2026 Acura Integra Type S (which had less than 800 miles on it) off, informed the guy I wasn't interested in paying so much like last time, ($640 for the step above basic tint) and was wondering if they could work with me on the price, they couldn't, oh well. And like the other times I drop my car off, they're done within 2-3 hours and I come to pick it up. The first thing I notice is the car was filthy, I dropped it off spotless, salt shot up the sides of the car like it was doing highway speeds. I go into pay, get my keys, come out to the car and start it up, Every light on the dash that could be on, was on. Not to mention my alcantara seats were dirty. So I drive off and immediately call them, they explain "this happens all the time just drive it." I drive it at all speeds for 30 mins and the lights still are on. I call them back again and explain, and tell them "this only happens when the battery is deep cycled". Long story short they let my cars battery die, and said they could reset the light, they had some guy from the shop drive my car (it's a 6 speed manual) trying to reset the light which didn't work. They explained it was completely normal for this to happen because they need the car on they just forgot to hook up a battery charger, so I had to take it to the dealer to have the battery "charged and reconditioned and have basic settings parameters set". The owner or whatever he was maintained complete deniability throughout this whole thing and stuck to the "this is completely normal it happens all the time" script.

Subject: Formal Complaint - Improper Repairs and Demand for Reimbursement…read more To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the repairs performed on my 2022 Hyundai Tucson at Fine Line Auto Body in Hilliard. I was not at fault in the accident involving my vehicle. The other driver's insurance company paid Fine Line Auto Body to restore my vehicle to its pre-accident condition. Prior to the accident, my Tucson was in perfect working condition. When my vehicle was returned to me, it was not repaired properly. After pickup, I discovered that multiple features that worked before the accident were no longer functioning. Specifically: The remote smart parking feature on my key fob, which allows the vehicle to move forward and backward while I am outside of it, no longer worked. My navigation system stopped working. The bumper was not installed correctly. There were cords hanging underneath the vehicle. Due to these concerns, I took my vehicle to a Hyundai dealership for inspection. The dealership informed me that the repairs were not done correctly and expressed serious concern about the quality of the work. I was informed by Fine Line that if I paid to have the issues corrected, I would be reimbursed. Relying on that statement, I used money from my mortgage payment to cover the cost of fixing my vehicle. It has now been over a month, and I have not received reimbursement. It is unacceptable that I was not at fault, the insurance company paid for proper repairs, and my vehicle was returned to me in worse condition. I am formally requesting full reimbursement for the corrective repairs. Additionally, because payment has been delayed for over a month, it is only fair that interest be included in the reimbursement to account for the financial burden this delay has caused. Please provide a written response within 10 business days of receipt of this letter. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will consider pursuing further action through the insurance company and appropriate consumer protection agencies.
