Proceed With Caution -- Unauthorized Work & Terrible Customer Service…read more Called this company for a simple toilet clog issue at my rental property. Before anything was done, I clearly told them I was the paying authority and needed to approve the cost before any work was performed. Instead, they went ahead and did the work without authorization, then tried charging me an outrageous $230. When I questioned it, I was told they "don't fucking care" and threatened with a lien on my property. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. I understand paying for legitimate work, which is why I still paid $180, but no company should perform work without approval and then bully customers afterward. If there is a trip fee or inspection charge, be upfront about it like every professional business does. Customer service, communication, and professionalism were nonexistent here. I will never use this company again and would strongly recommend others get pricing and written approval terms upfront before dealing with them.

They are head and shoulders above anyone else I've used in the past. A professional engineer recommend them to me about 20 years ago, and I have had nothing but very positive experiences with them. From installing new wells, to repairs, to follow up warranty work, I can find no fault. Not their fault, but I had a major water tank fail do to a manufacture defect about a year after install, and they came out happily and replaced it for free, including labor. They say what they say they are going to do, and their price is alway very fair. They are very experienced, and workmanship is superior. It is hard today to find anyone that takes pride in their work, puts ethics at the top of their list, and really cares about doing the right thing for their customers. I could not be happier with this rare find of a quality company. The technician Zach mostly services my wells, but all the staff has been superb. David Flory

He stated they could repair today and would send a technician. Technician called and I repeated what I had told Barry. He stated it was probably a bad pump. Technician arrived in a mini van ,checked system and said I really can't tell you anything more than you told me but I think it is a bad pump. Then he stated they didn't have any pumps today. I stated why did they show up if they couldn't repair pump. Technician spoke with Barry and said they would try and find a pump or borrow one from a competitor but nothing was for sure. At this point I received a call from Hildebrandt's Well Service who stated they could be there in an hour and repair even if it was a bad pump. I told technician I had to have fixed today and was using another company. He spoke with Barry again and stated he would have to bill $145.00 for coming out. As I payed him, he apologized several times for having to bill me when in reality they did nothing. I explained I was not angry with him and when things didn't go as they should , that was what YELP was for. Barry took this call knowing they could not repair and in my opinion was just trying to generate income from a service call.

I made multiple attempts to communicate and resolve the situation, but the project was never completed. As a result, I was left with unfinished work and had to explore other options to address it. This review reflects my personal experience. I encourage others to ask detailed questions about timelines, payment terms, and project completion expectations before hiring.

The other battle is reading reviews to match your selection. We had a good vibe with the gentleman who came to present the business. After making the selection, it was easy to select days for the work to begin. They were flexible and upfront what to expect. A professional folder was given and discussed.
