A good location on The outskirts of downtown Ballard so here is usually plenty of street parking. The pizzas smelt good and they have a vegan option! I thought the IPA was decent, and they also do samples. There is a water station with reusable cups which is always something we look for. They also do events like trivia. It was empty at lunchtime on a weekday, but I'm sure it's more crowded on weekends. They have some lovely plants and plenty of seating, including out on the patio. Prices were a tiny bit higher than I am used to.

Wasn't too busy when we stopped in! Ballard Beer Box is off the main strip so there isn't a ton of foot traffic. It's a bit dark inside so you might think it's closed when it's not. Huge selection of drinks, spacious interior and options for outdoor seating out front and in the back. The food was good - great space for drinks, meet up's, and pizza!

Great pizza and beer! Their princess Bianca is our all time favorite. We ended up staying for bingo and Meredith was an incredible host! Can't wait to come back!

Dog friendly and great service. Honestly some of the best fresh pizza. Try their specials. They also sell by the slice and have a big beer and cider selection

Sweet tap and bottle for sale place! My folks and I were up visiting Seattle and while this wasn't on our stop list, stumbled upon it after visiting the Nordic Museum down the street. Super nice lady behind the counter when we came in. Prices were Seattle-good. And their selection is extensive, saw some bottles we didn't know about and their house Rose was crisp and not too sweet. Casual and fun place, clean and the outdoor area has tables, games and such. If I lived here, would be a great go-to spot. I wish there was a 4.5, as the only challenge, was the food. Don't get me wrong their house-made pizza is great, but, for the not so hungry folks, some slice options or just more snacks (chips, packaged stuff or nuts), only had one bag of chips for sale, would be appreciated. Only whole pies here. But again, awesome! And I see that they have limited space and are trying to do only hot fresh, so this is just a me thing. Will be back up in July and will visit again! Thanks

Great vibe and such a great beer selection

Super friendly service, great relaxed vibe. Pizza is amazing: don't be fooled by the small oven, it is really special (I had the Desi and the margarita and both were delicious and fresh). And course the beer on tap (rotating) is great (also a fantastic selection of bottled beer). Hands down my favorite place for food and drink in Ballard

a glass of beer next to a can of beer

I live near by and have been waiting for the space to open. One my neighbors and I swung in for a glass of wine just to check things out a few weeks ago. Yesterday a group of five of us visited. We had two pizzas and a bruschetta , a bottle of wine, one Phoney Negroni and I had a beer from the cooler. Just something to know cause I didn't see a sign and didn't know till I was paying that there was a corkage fee. I'd say unless you really want try something in a can or bottle from the large selection of chilled items, go with something on tap if you don't want to pay the fee. The pizzas were good we had the margarita with arugula and the pear apple gorgonzola bruschetta. We really enjoyed the bruschetta it's on pizza dough and more oval shaped than the pizza. It's definitely nice to have something so close.

Before you had to order the smallest pours to create a "flight" and the reason they did not offer flights of beer was because, And I was told this, that their beers are light so need to offer a flight. Anyway. I like a flight which allows you taste a variety of beers. Enough about flights! Now the deets about the beers I tried on this visit. #1 Television People, 4.8%- Kolsch Weisse w/coriander and lemon peel. This one was my favorite! Super refreshing and not too much lemon flavor. #2 Death Rides A Horse, 5.0% An Italian Style Pilsner- From my notes, an excellent Pilsner. Freaking delicious. lol #3 OG Kush 5.2%, West Coast 420 Pale Ale. A bit too danky tasting but good. #4 Sunny Hills, 5.0% 6th Double Dry Hopped Italian Pilsner. Light, refreshing delicious. A typical brewery with games, good music, and seating inside and out. Situated in an industrial area. Worth stopping by! SYOY.

This is a little out of the way for me since Intake the bus so it was nice to visit with friends that drive. It's past and up a little from Fishermen's Terminal. First off the staff was extremely friendly. It is a large open space with tables abs counter tops. Also some outdoor seating. Vinyl collection for sale and a turntable playing music. I'm not a beer connoisseur but I know what I like and my friends was great at making suggestions. Believe I went with Television People. Also they had some and of Hildegard's Verditas Jun. Love Hildegard's stuff and with their recent closure of the beer side it was so nice to find these I hadn't had this and my friend got each of us a can. It was so refreshing and I enjoy low abv this was a 1.5. Loved the vibe and can see why my friends enjoy visiting here. Will be back.

Oh My Gosh!…read more We visited Seattle for a week. We are big beer people and I tried to do my due diligence on researching the best beer in town. I looked at Reddit and several other sources as well. We found some pretty great stuff! Fair Isle and Holy Mountain were standouts. What didn't pop up in my research was Dirty Couch. We discovered them based on a maps search when we were in the area. Seriously, hands down out favorite brewery in Seattle. Real sour beer is a niche style that saw its heyday a few years back and has since declined a bit in popularity in favor of sweeter kettle sours because they take less time to make and are a bit more accessible to the average palate. Several of the best barrel aging programs have shuttered or drastically reduced their portfolios due to the fickle public including Cascade and Brurery Terreaux (and several others.) Ditty Couch is making some of the best mixed/wild fermentation beers I have had anywhere. These are truly world class. I would put their Flanders style up with Duchess de Bourgogne. Every beer I had was absolutely pitch perfect. They do other styles as well. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are in Seattle and have a taste for the more Belgian-inspired, lambic-style beers, or care anything at all about amazing craft in beer, go here. You will not be disappointed. Best brewery in Seattle!

We went later in the evening so it wasn't as lively but I'm sure it would have a really fun vibe filled with people. The servers were nice but maybe not the most attentive. Again, end of the night, I can understand them being tired. Now the most important part, the food, was amazing! I believe there was one guy cooking all by himself and he did a fantastic job! We got the popcorn cod as a starter which was so fun and inventive. Think crispy fried chicken bites but with fish. So yummy! For our mains, we shared a grilled skewer of pork belly with applesauce, a skewer of grilled shrimp, and a life changing grilled cheese made with goat cheese and lingonberry jam! The flavors complimented each other so well and it was just melt in your mouth perfection! I want another just writing this. We also got a flight of their meads which was lovely! The next time we come up to Seattle, we definitely want to coincide with one of their events! We just missed the cheese and pickle pairing class which would've been fun. Overall, such a unique space and restaurant idea. I wish more places were this creative. Definitely come here with a group so you can do family style. So many yummy bites to try. As for us, we were eyeing their huge pretzel with beer cheese. That'll be on our next trip.

The ambiance is actually quite nice in the bar and backyard patio. However, it seems like service can be a little hit or miss.
