Went to see a car listed on CarGurus for 7995, I liked it and confirmed the price as "$8000" with a…read moresalesperson. The next day I went back to start the purchase process. I returned the third day having obtained insurance and other records. When I arrived the female manager told me they were "giving" me the extended warranty. When I read the contracts there was a line item for $2,000 for the extended warranty and the price of the vehicle was now $10,800 making my $7,995 car $12,800. I said "who asked for the extended warranty?" She told me "The finance company requires it because it's an older vehicle, and they find that when people are paying for repairs, they don't make payments" I said "Ok that's the most absurd thing I've ever heard, but let's table that for the moment, let's move to the price". They looked confused, they said "the price was $11,500 we knocked it down to $10,800 for you" They showed me on online listing for $11,500. I pointed to the salesman who I had seen 2 days earlier and confirmed the price with and he looked like a deer in the headlights and kept his head down mostly. I went outside to clear my head. I went into my email and found the actual listing for $7995. Then I called the finance company who told me that they would not require someone to purchase an extended warranty. I put the finance company on speakerphone and went back into the dealership. "The manager went into the bosses glass walled office for 2 seconds and came back out and said to me "Oh, you're right they don't require the extended warranty on THAT vehicle". I said "no, no.... They don't require it on ANY vehicle so let's not do that". Then I pulled up the actual listing on my phone for $7,995 and presented that. I really needed the vehicle or else I would have just walked out in the first 2 minutes. Finally, they removed the $2000 extended warranty and changed the price back to $7,995. I'd say if you wanna buy a car here, just be careful and don't let them bully you. If you want to buy a car there, let me know and I'll go with you. This place is why car lots will soon be a thing of the past and online models like Carvana, and Carmax, along with independent car brokers will be the norm sooner rather than later. One star here is ok, because I do like the car. The front headlight is out which they offered to fix, but, how do you sell a car with a headlight out ? Whacky stuff. At the end of the day I got what I wanted. Here's the thing though, which they will never understand unfortunately, I brought someone with me that day, who is looking to purchase a used car for their 16 year old son. When we walked in, he picked up a business card, when All this was going down, he put the business card back!! See, if you just operate honestly, your business will grow, when you don't, it shrinks... that's just the facts. They effectively turned 2 repeat customers into 0 repeat customers in one hour. I hope someone there learns this lesson at some point. Also, if you just put the price of the car on the vehicle while it's on the lot... but they don't so they can manipulate the price whenever they feel like it.

The guy replied asking when I can be there. I took that as my offer being valid. Test drove the Jeep, Liked it. When we went inside to make the transaction, the price became 18,995 before any tax, fees etc. I showed him the text, and the guy said " maybe I didn't read the top of the text" ( it was a short sentence that I sent him) That being said, I told him his price on his web page is 17,995 & that the price of this vehicle just changed 3 times in 1 minute. He asked what I would like to pay, I told him 15,000 that I offered, and he told me to come down. He said, ohh no, I paid more than 15,000 for it. I told him, No biggie, I was not hurting, just looking to upgrade. He then said if I would pay 15,000 CASH. My question, if 15,000 CASH is less than he paid for it, Why in the world is it enough. Something is not sitting well with me about this place. 2.5 HOURS WASTE OF MY VALUABLE TIME.

Anyway they had 2 vehicle's I was interested in one on the lot and another in a different location.. Perfect I could test drive one to the other...No problem however on the drive a check engine light came on.. I'm like that's not a good sign... trying not to get immediately discouraged because the sales person (Ever) is awesome.. He is what kept me in the game..anyway saw the second car and it was just as pretty as the first!! Like I said they have pretty cars!!! In any event I found the one with the check engine light more to my liking so we drove it back.. they plugged it up and showed engine problem..I'm out.. Just a healthy reminder Make sure you test drive and have someone check out the vehicle before you buy!!! Cars may not be great but the customer service (Ever) exceeds the vehicle shortcoming.. but I wasn't looking for a friend I want a reliable car.

Prior to my visit, she provided the Carfax reports and confirmed that both vehicles were available. Based on that information, I made the 45-minute drive from the Bronx to Long Island, paying for gas and tolls along the way. Upon arriving, instead of being shown the vehicles I came to see, I was repeatedly pressured to complete a credit application. I explained that I wanted to inspect the vehicles first before discussing financing or submitting any personal information. Rather than honoring that reasonable request, the staff attempted to redirect me toward two completely different vehicles that I had never inquired about and had no interest in purchasing. After standing firm and again requesting to see the vehicles I had specifically made the appointment for, I was eventually informed that neither vehicle was actually ready for sale. Had I been told this before making the trip, I would not have wasted my time, gas, tolls, or nearly an hour of travel. Confirming that vehicles are available, scheduling an appointment, and then revealing upon arrival that the vehicles cannot be shown is unprofessional and misleading. The continued pressure to complete a credit application before even viewing the advertised vehicles only added to the frustration. I cannot recommend doing business with a dealership that operates this way.

Only have someone call me about my ongoing 2 month frustration when I post a negative review on Google. Had called back in April about this specific car. Asking to see it, they said it was in transit. called a week later, They said it was still in transit. However, the carfax said that they had worked on it and inspected It. called back another week later, Asking for some details about the vehicle, they said they would call me back and then the automated AI scheduling tool sent me a text message scheduling a showing so I scheduled it for same day. 3 hours later after being on my way, I get a phone call 15 minutes before my appointment: the car was not available to be seen and was not on the premises. The car up until 2 PM this afternoon, was showing available on their website and on third party websites. Only once I posted a negative Google review after speaking with someone did I get the explanation that the car was not up to their standards for sale And that they were returning to the place they bought it from. At any point in the past month and a half they could have reached out to advise it wasn't available, or noted it as unavailable on their site, and taken down the listing. Calling and asking for a sales Manger didn't get me to one, only posting a negative review did.

The team we worked with at Enterprise Car Sales was amazing start to finish. At the Hempstead location we worked with Sonia, Anthony and Herber to help us get the right car for us. They also were able to work with us to transport a few cars to test that were at their sister Enterprise Car Sales dealerships within the tristate area. Their customer service was exceptional. The manager of the dealership, Melvin, also spoke to us and was very friendly. The one thing that stood out from Enterprise versus other dealerships is the no hidden fees. There was the standard dealership fee and the regular DMV fees. Everything was explained to us clearly and it made the process super easy. If we are to consider to get another used car in the future we will definitely consider returning again.

If you look at the pictures, go to the VERY LAST photo and the ID tag is affixed to a gray painted body of the truck - it's not red like the rest of the vehicle. So they got ALL the pictures wrong EXCEPT for the last one????? 2. Good luck finding the actual cost of the vehicle before taxes, etc. Sure, they list a MONTHLY PAYMENT amount but not the price of the vehicle. 3. If you do find the actual price of the vehicle - don't forget you MUST add-in all of this crap: "The advertised price does not include tax, title, registration, tags, finance charges, documentation charges, emissions testing charges, extended service contracts, complete care, $1, 695 Lojack system, any additional pre-equipped products and/or costs incurred to the vehicle. Please note that the internet special pricing reflects a partial down payment of $3,199 or the trade equivalent." I mean, really???!!! Talk about sticking it to the customer!! $1,695 for Lojack - which, by the way, you'll need to pay a monthly fee to use. Now if you somehow do find a price on-line, don't forget this beauty of a fee: "internet pricing reflects a partial DOWN PAYMENT of $3,200..." Yeah, that's right. If you don't have this, add it to your price!!! Sooooo many red flags. I cannot the BBB isn't blowing up with complaints (like the one I submitted). Seriously folks, you can verify everything I'm saying by going to their website and looking at a vehicle. I feel sorry for anyone who uses them....

Until you sit down, they give this whole spiel on how they make a little money on initial sales, and really only profit with referrals and repeat customers. And they're giving the best deal possible. when you finally look at the numbers, it's ludicrous what they're trying to do. I saw a car online for $29,000. But somehow with their magic with numbers, my finance went to $47,000. And I would have to give a down payment of $2200. I sat there and watched the guy constantly change the numbers and bring different sheets of paper with new quotes that only made the other ones look more criminal. And I sat there asking myself how can another person do this to someone. Ultimately, I wasted five hours there, but thankfully I was smart enough to phone A friend that owns a car dealership sent him the paperwork and he explained to me the people there should be arrested and the business shut down. If you don't believe me, look at the photos for yourself. Notice the price they had online and notice the multiple quotes and shenanigans they gave me. It's also worth noting that my trade-in is valued at 18K carmax so yes it does carry negative equity of -6k But even if you add 6K to 29K that's only 35k at most. Then with the loan aspect, you're looking at around 41k to 43k. AT MOST WITH NO DOWN PAY!!! Yet somehow they blew past that. Plus I still had to give a down payment of $2200 minimum. To top it off, they told me to park in an area that had a no parking sign and I ended up getting a ticket. And they said they would only cover the ticket if I got a car. This place should be burned.....
