Visited this spot 2x's since they opened. Both time I left happy and full. The decor hasn't changed much from when Tokyo House was here and only the mens restroom work. - 1 star Baki Ramen only offers counter service. You have the option to order with the cashier or on the touch screen (The touch screen is easy to use). So far I've had the Grasshopper, crazy, firecracker and ATL rolls. They're all delicious but my favorite would have to be the Grasshopper. My kids are crazy about the Bulgogi Bowl. It's full of flavor and the portion is pretty big, enough for both my kids (Age 8 and 4) to share. Will definitely continue to come here. read more

I gave them one last chance. This area really needs a good ramen/sushi place. I was thrilled when it opened. It has progressively gone downhill. First, the soft drink machines were out of order and never fixed. They now have been removed. Then you have to order at a sort of confusing kiosk. I went in tonight and he told me to be seated. I waited for atleast 10 min for him to take my order. They are out of diet coke. After I place my order he said it would be over 30 min to make two sushi rolls. I went elsewhere. This isn't my first bad experience so I won't be back. read more

Flavor is good. Service is quick but the have skimmed on the meats twice on an online order. Once they changed my meat without calling me. Then today I have literally no beef. I'm done. I will drive to Gainesville or the mall but not here. Not for those prices. read more

I live so close yet this was my first visit. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I feel like this place has massive potential, I set out with a very positive mindset. I do like that they have the self order kiosk. I ordered a spicy salmon roll and salmon teriyaki hibachi, the salmon roll was good not amazing or something I would say I need to go back for but if I need a last minute sushi run I'd buy again. The veggies and salmon in the hibachi were delicious but personal peeve the teriyaki sauce was incredibly salty, again that could just be me but it almost ruined it for me. Aside from the saltiness I did like the plate. They also included a soup with my meal, I'm not sure what kind but it was good! I shall return to try more options so stay tuned.. read more

I am NEVER going back unless they change owners. Do NOT get the Teriyaki Salmon Hibachi! I moved to Winder a little over a year ago. When I 1st went to Baki, I got California rolls and they were good. Any sushi that me or my family have gotten there, has been gogood. One day I tried the hibachi salmon and it was good. It had a decent portion of salmon and it was very delicious. I'm not sure if they got new owners after that point but I ordered the salmon hibachi again Sept 2023 that's the picture shown with the 1 yum yum sauce. The portion I received was small, much smaller than what I received the 1st time I ordered it. I brought my food back in and expressed my concern. The man I dealt with said it was the normal portion. I expressed that when I got it before I had a larger decent portion and for $15 the amount I have is not good. I let him know that it's ridiculous to receive that amount of salmon for that price. He offered to give me $2 off. I took it. I honestly still wasn't satisfied but I was very hungry so I accepted and left. Yesterday, 2/9/24 I decided to try them again. Tried ordering the hibachi salmon again. When I picked up my order and checked it in the car, the picture with the 2 yum yum sauces is what I received. I was mortified! This was like having rice and veggies for a main course and a small side of salmon. Look at this plate! I was charged $16.05! That is a toddler size portion of salmon and it's smothered in sauce. Imagine if I ordered it to be delivered? This is what I'd receive and I would've been so disappointed and frustrated. How can they serve something like this?! I brought it back and explained my frustration. The man asked me if I wanted him to make more salmon and add it to mine. I told him no because I feel you will still won't give me enough. He goes in the back to get the salmon he would give me....comes from the back with another small piece. I simply told him I'd like my money back. Ultimately, he did give me my $ back in cash. The card machine was having issues. I was still upset because I could not believe they would give me that amount of food and I was so hungry. I just feel it's poor of them. I plan on going back and speaking to the manager. I do believe that the actual restaurant has a clean and nice ambiance and I also feel they have always been respectful but that food portion was/is truly horrible. read more

I think the food was ok. Noodles in ramen were sticky. I have had better ramen before. I also tried bubble tea and felt that it was very syrup-y. Overall good may be worth trying one time and then picking up sides if you want to come again. read more

I'd prefer to give this place a 3.5, if I could. Let's start with why we came, the ramen. It was ok, nothing to brag about, but not terrible. Basic options and basic flavor. The ramen here was so flavorful!! Ordering was easy on their touch screen system. Also, food came out hot and fast! I'm so glad we now have a ramen place close to us instead of having to drive to Buford or Duluth. Prices are typical for a good ramen place, so anyone complaining about prices hasn't experienced authentic ramen lol. The atmosphere could use a little help, it's a bit dull, but it's understandable because it's a new place. Highly recommend for a quick comfort meal!! read more

The worst thing I've ever consumed. We got the boba (bad idea) and the pearls were terrifying. They were crunchy and I couldn't even bite through one. The next one disintegrated in my mouth. I truly gagged. We walked out and immediately threw it in the dumpster to the left outside the door. Idk how the food is but don't get the boba. read more

I am not impressed with how much money I spent at this place. For one the rice was not cooked completely & my veggies are very fried. The climate in this restaurant is very unbearable. I am sweating profusely and I am not comfortable. The sushi gets a 4/10 it wasn't too appealing. My friends also did not enjoy their meal. They' ramen wasn't authentic enough. Me and my son love going here. They have great Ramen bowls!! We usually get a few bowls of Ramen and some hibachi rice. Always delicious. The staff are very nice and take time to prepare each meal. Good for lunch and dinner. read more

I totally thought this was going to just be a revamp of Tokyo house-- Def not! I ordered the firecracker and ATL roll. It was drenched in spicy Mayo and I love spicy Mayo. My family told me we had ramen in Winder, so of course I had to try it. The ramen was good, although I would say that my egg was fairly cold, and there were a lot of mushrooms compared to the other garnishes. The chicken katsu was good in it, and the broth was rich, although felt a little old and was lukewarm (still good taste though!) The crab ragoons were great! I've had their habachi when my family went and it was good too! Next time I would probably get the habachi. read more

Honestly i came expecting another version of Tokyo House and that was wrong of me because Tokyo House was really good but Baki is nothing like Tokyo house. As someone that goes to a lot of asian restaurants honestly baki has some of the best food ive had close to home I highly recommend this place but if you come comparing it to other places you will be let down read more
