We liked the jalapeño kolache, old fashioned, Bavarian cream maple long John, and apple fritter. Lady working there is really nice too.

I can assure everyone that they do not serve pancakes and is NOT located by the park; they are next to the elementary school. However, they do serve the most fluffiest donuts that I have ever tasted. Great family owned place. The Collachi---OMG!!! Donut wrapped bacon and sausage full of savory sweet yummy goodness!!! And the glazed donuts were pillowy soft and just the right amount of glaze. I did not try any other donut because I only eat glazed donuts but I am sure they are just as great as the rest! The service was spot on and do you know that the cashier warmed my Collachi? My goodness, what service. Both cashier's said "Good Morning!" when I walked in and "Happy Sunday!" when I walked out. My, my, my. You cannot buy that kind of service and I have a cold. My mood was gunky this morning but they made my day. The hours are 8am to 2pm 7 days a week but know this--they will close the doors when they run out of donuts and if that happens to be the case before 2pm I am sad for you! Four stars, my fellow Yelpers, because you know I am very keen on star gazing and not a four star giver all the time. But with Baker's Dozen all four are well deserved. read more

Wow these are the best donuts I've ever tasted-- very unexpected find while on a trip to check out Big Bend. The donuts were light, airy, and fresh. Even when the donuts weren't hot anymore, they stayed light and airy. The cashier and (presumable) shop owner were both very friendly as well. Absolutely, hands down, the BEST donut shop I've ever been to; and I used to work in one! The kolaches are so savory; the jalapeno ones have just the right amount of heat, and the dough is so airy and almost melts in your mouth. The donuts are perfect! Light, airy dough, not too sweet, but nowhere near plain. The fillings for the "logs" are so amazing; again, not too sweet, but the flavors are on point. The cherry tastes like cherries, the strawberry like strawberries, the Bavarian cream is so rich and flavorful. Not forgetting to mention the fact that the staff always remembers us, and our daughters. We've been coming in since they opened shop in 2012-ish, and they greet us like long-time friends, every single time. I could go on and on about this wonderful hole in the wall, but will suffice to say that it's incredibly wonderful! Head in to see Connie, Angela and the rest of the staff, almost any morning, and you will not regret it! read more
