Like dining with an Italian family for Christmas! (Idk really but everything we had was so…read moredelicious! And we had a lot!) the decor is like walking into someone's home, not bland and stuffy corporate vibes. We started with lobster bisque, nice and creamy with chunks of lobster which complimented perfectly well with our platter of dinner rolls. We order a side of marinara dipping sauce to go with the rolls, not that they need them but it's fun and we like to play with our food. So we ate the rolls either as they come with garlic butter, dipped in marinara or dipped in lobster bisque, can't go wrong with any of those options. We both go the house salad, though I wish we'd ordered their Caesar just to try it, the house salad was loaded with tomatoes, chickpeas, cucumber, cheese and a vinaigrette. There were more toppings too but just saying, loaded salad! I ordered the Chicken Rene which is "Breaded Filet breast topped with ham, simmered with mushrooms & artichoke hearts in a white wine cream sauce and served over angel hair pasta." I'd had their Chicken Parmesan before and chose Milanos with intention of getting it but got swayed to the Rene from reading the menu. There are a few other items I would like to try as well but I do love their chicken parm. Hubby usually gets the Veal Melanzane but he got swayed into one of the specials they were having which was a filet of snapper with a creamy white wine sauce over linguine. We regret nothing and are so stuffed! Oh and we went ahead and got the Canoli cake (special) to go, even though I stole a couple of bites before packing it up Our server was great! She was helpful and cheerful and helped make the experience such a treat!

They also have this strawberry limoncello margarita.(awesome drink) and the Bellini peach raspberry iced tea is also delicious. The service can be a little slow because they use the bartenders for servers sometimes. The atmosphere is always relaxing.

The…read moreAlfredo sauce was very creamy and definitely on the saltier side, but still comforting and satisfying. The portion size was generous--so filling that I couldn't finish it and had to take the rest to go, which I actually appreciated. It's the kind of dish that feels heavy in a good way, and I would order it again. Before the entrée, I had the Chicken & Gnocchi soup, and that was more hit-or-miss for me. While it was warm and filling, the flavor leaned too salty, and the spinach in particular was questionable. The taste and texture of it stood out in a bad way and almost ruined the soup for me, which was disappointing--especially since it tasted better when paired with the breadsticks. I even asked for a second bowl at first, but the spinach really threw things off. As for drinks, I had a Sprite. The flavor was normal, but it was a bit flat, which made it less refreshing than expected. Overall, the Chicken Alfredo was the highlight and worth ordering, while the soup was inconsistent. Some things really worked, others didn't--but the portion size and creaminess of the Alfredo made the meal enjoyable overall.

Didn't have to lose my parking space, a recent Chicago transplant I was dying for a good gyro. I got there and it was fairly busy during lunch. Good sign. I looked over the menu and saw they had Italian beef. If you know a Chicagoan, this seemed like the holy grail of Atlanta restaurants. Italian beef sandwiches and gyros are 2 of Chicago's biggest and loved sandwiches. I go with the Italian beef with cheese and hot peppers. I get back to the office and sit at my desk, opened my food, and was so disappointed. This definitely wasn't it. My first clue was asking the cashier about the sandwich and her really having no clue of what it was. There was more bread than meat. The flavor wasn't there and the gravy/au jus wasn't hitting either. It was just a skimpy roast beef sandwich. I let a couple of coworkers try it and they weren't feeling it either. I just threw it out. If the owner sees this, I would recommend sourcing your Italian beef from a brand that specializes in it out of Chicago. You can find it at GFS or Sysco. Look for Vienna brand, Scala's, Ditka (the food company of the former Bears coach Mike Ditka), or Buona beef. Also, don't skimp on the sandwich. It's pretty much just meat and bread with optional toppings. Just saying put some respect on the sandwich. It's also made on good fresh French bread. I haven't been back after that. It was also the last Italian beef I tried in the Atlanta area. If you make a hot roast beef sub, that's great, but don't call it Italian beef.

I go to Olive garden and get a meal that I will take home and fill up on the soup, mainly because I…read morereally do love the Zuppa Toscana, thats the main reason I go there, the meal is just a bonus. So I'm a big boy and usually dont eat anything all morning, so I can eat 4 or 5 bowls, especially as they fill it less and less with each bowl to trick me I guess. I would actually be out of there sooner if they filled them to the top as I am eating that Zuppa Toscana deliciousness till I cant. Here is the kicker, the last couple bowls are awfully watery, you can tell they pour some water in there, or add less stuff to the broth, or something as the broth is even mostly clear and you can taste the difference. That may only be the one in Covington GA that does it, but they have done it several times with different servers, so I am convinced its a policy or directed by the manager. Another thing, from what was mentioned to me by a server who asked me to pay for the meal early and she would still serve me, the servers get dinged if the person is at the table more than 29 minutes, so they have a big incentive to brow beat and avoid your eyes for refills hoping you will leave. Still the service is super good, I haven't had a less than stella experience from the people that work there. The watered down last couple bowls still tastes alright so I would still recommend going here if you like Olive Garden.

The sauce was bland and flavorless, and the pasta was hard, stuck together and discolored on top, like it had been sitting there for a while before being served. The soup was also flavorless and bland. No salad due to cyclospora outbreak - the main reason I went. The bread sticks are pathetic. Even the hard-as-a-rock butter didn't help. The service was outstanding.

There were two young ladies working the front counter. Both were wearing gloves, but instead of handling food with professionalism and care, they were laughing, playing around, and repeatedly checking their phones with the same gloves they were using to prepare and handle customers' food. That is not only unprofessional -- it is unsanitary. Gloves are meant to protect the food from contamination, not to become a tool for spreading it. What made it worse was that they clearly saw me standing there and continued the behavior as if it was normal practice. It did not appear to be a one-time mistake. It looked routine, which raises serious concerns about management oversight and food safety standards at this location. The following day, I called the store to speak with the General Manager to address the issue properly. The manager who answered the phone had an extremely nasty attitude and hung up on me mid-conversation. That level of disrespect toward a paying customer is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the entire establishment. Food service requires accountability, professionalism, and basic hygiene standards. If those expectations cannot be met, customers will understandably lose trust. I hope ownership takes this review seriously and implements better supervision and training before someone gets sick or the business reputation suffers further.
