This was my first visit, as it never crossed my mind to stop here. But I was feeling a bit adventurous so decided to give it a try. It was after 8, was looking for something fast but not heavy and artery clogging.... and I found just that! Upon walking in, I noticed how clean it was. The staff was friendly, and my order came up within 5 minutes of ordering. Salsa bar was awesome with lots of options, loved the mango salsa. Also had limes, fresh cut jalapenos and cilantro to add in. We were offered free chips while we waited, I thought I was in a dream. So used to paying for my chips, esp at other chain Mexican spots ive frequented. They also threw in some free chips with my to go order. My Fajita burrito was amazing, and HUGE! I stopped in for one of my favorite salads, the chili lime shrimp salad, today. I order it to go since I've got to return to work. I open the salad at my desk and the first thing I notice is the avocado chunks are all brown spotted. I then see the tomatoes are all mushy looking, like they have been frozen and thawed out. There is hardly any kale in it and the onions are long and too large to eat without cutting. The chili-lime dressing is a joke. It is now a green colored, watered-down, mayo-tasting and has no chili or lime taste. It's nothing like the dressing used to be. It almost seems like this place has changed owners or managers and they are using lesser quality ingredients to boost their profits. Big mistake. I won't eat there again and I'm suggesting you don't either. It doesn't live up to the standards of the "Baja Fresh" name. read more

I love their Baja Ensalada! I work close to here so go 1-2 times a week and will order the Baja Ensalada with either Steak, Chicken, or Shrimp, and the Salsa Verde dressing. I haven't ever been let down. The food tastes fresh and it's a huge portion! Enjoy! read more

I love Baja Fresh. It is our go-to lunch location. Two people can easily split a burrito, they are HUGE! My boyfriend loves the nacho burrito, my coworkers get super something or other. I am a taco kind of gal, they just introduced these fire-grilled tacos and they are the bomb! Their guacamole is fresh and so good, I really could eat the large portion of it. There is a cool salsa bar inside, too. Churros for my sweet tooth, as well. I recently got some coupons in the mail so that helps, too. Yum yum! read more

Man I used to be a huge fan of Baja Fresh. Everyone alse complained that they were overpriced but I defended them on flavor. But not anymore. I just spent nearly $20 for lunch at a fast food place and got three tacos and a taco salad. Boo. I really really wanted some fish tacos - what I liked most at Baja Fresh. But the grilled Mahi Mahi taco was terrible and the two cripsy tacos had almost no meat - just tiny strips of fried fish that looked like clam strips. I am very disappointed. As a vegetarian I can't speak to the meat quality. I once had a couple of the fish taco's and I was very impressed. I usually opt for the Diablo Burrito. Being a vegetarian, this option runs me a whoppin 5.29, throw on a 32oz lifetime refills cup of soda for an additional .99 and they provide the chips and salsa free.... Can't imagine a better bargain for a really good and fresh meal. Highly recommend this place to all my healthy friends!! read more

I used to love Baja Fresh and have been a customer for almost 20 years but I will never give my money to this location again unless the management/ownership changes. The guacamole was literally brown (I had to throw it away) container only partially filled, rude and disrespectful employees. I asked to speak to the manager and after his very disrespectful response it was apparent why this location is so terrible. He was obviously someone who did not clearly understand he was in the food service business and is dependent upon customers actually buying his product. His loss! read more

The first time I ever ate at a Baja Fresh was in Marina Del Rey, California in 1996. Even in Southern California, a place loaded with great Mexican and Tex-Mex food of every type, Baja Fresh was an amazingly high quality and authentic option. The chain has grown since then, but the quality and freshness of their ingredients, and the authenticity of their preparation has remained consistent, and has perhaps even gotten better. Up here in the Northwest, Baja Fresh represents an true oasis of flavor in a vast desert of bland and disappointing Mexican food. My favorite is the enormous steak Burrito Ultimo ordered "enchillado style," but everything on the menu is very, very good. Throw in free chips, a free fresh salsa bar (including mango salsa plus four others, lime wedges, sliced jalapenos), and a deal for cheap soft drink refills for life, and you are in a chain that has a very different approach to what they put on your plate. You are warned by their motto that their quality is not served at "microwave speed" so there is a brief wait between when you put it in your order and when it comes up on the counter a few minutes later. Baja Fresh's food is certainly many notches above the crummy fast food at Taco Del Mar, Taco Time, and their ilk, although you'll pay about the same. Baja Fresh is a bit of a drive from my house, but I try to make it in there whenever I have things to do near Valley Medical Center and Southcenter. I love Baja Fresh in Southern California where I am from. This one is not the same at all. Chips were stale, my burrito was not what I ordered and the prices were way higher than any other burrito joint in the Seattle area. Just visited tonight. The girl we ordered from was very impatient. I changed my order from to go to dine in and she was so rude about it. And she went back to the cook who said something in Spanish to the point that the manager had to tell them to shush. Not only that but when I just called to complain, he didn't apologize but just hung up. And finally, there was some trashy customers who verbally abused us as we left. It's been awhile since I've been to this place. Me and the kids were out and decided to treat ourselves to lunch. My daughter and I chose to split a quesadilla with steak, a side of guacamole and a drink. We receive a container of the guacamole with chips. The guacamole had a ton of onions in it, not much flavor there but way too much onion. I know a lot of places stretch guacamole with onion and sour cream to make it go further but this was way too much. The chips were so bad. I mean as in stale, stale bad. I took the order back up and happened to tell the manager, who was at the counter, that I would like another order since they weren't fresh. Not much in comments from him, just ok. So we try the second batch, yeah not much better at all, Still stale and so tasteless. The quesadilla was not all the way melted and not much steak. Their salsa bar is good and the pico de gallo is good too. Here's the thing: I've been here before and I'm noticing that they aren't putting much effort into producing good food. Mexican food is one of the easiest to make and it can be good, fresh and tasteful. This chain has become careless with this and it's no longer good food. I haven't had Baja Fresh in 3 years, last in L.A. so thought to stop by and have some nostalgia. But this place sucked. Bad. Talked to a few other patrons waiting for their orders and between mine and theirs, average time to get your food was over 30 minutes. Bathrooms were unkept, trash bins were overflowing (dining area and bathrooms), no clean trays to carry your food. Cooked food just sitting on the kitchen counter, no one calling out order numbers. Don't bother asking anything of Pablo. (He'll roll his eyes and ignore you). Any dialogue with him is just pointless. (Pablo mumbling 'churro' five times to the manager while everyone else is waiting for their food is just sad). Obviously the people working there do not care to be there. read more

Had food there yesterday, I use to love Baja fresh when I lived in Vegas. Not so many around here. I was looking for that Bahafresh taste I craved for 3 yrs. Well, I was disappointed, food didn't taste the same. I ordered the same ultimo burrito as I used to and tasted very different. I didn't like it. I didn't even finished it. Hoping I'd have a better experience but today my order was missing an entree, also one salad was completely incorrect and cheese on items that were specifically asked NO CHEESE. I spent over $60 and it completely missed the mark. Two of three people who in my party who ate here had gastrointestinal distress the next day and we are pretty sure they were the culprit as its the only thing we shared-- but you can get a bug anywhere-- so I would still eat here again. read more
