An amazing experience. Food was delicious. They have a great a bar witn and good drink selection. The staff was very friendly. Seems like a great neighborhood place to meet friends and family.

Fish tacos with "egg batter" - don't worry it's not egg fwd.: Get these!

TLDR: Fairly Mid Americanized Mexican spot, good for non-adventurous eaters, kids, your parents, or folks new to the food scene. Food: - Tacos el pastor - C: a fairly dry needs sauce tortillas were great. - Fish tacos - B-: I would get these again Drinks: Sangria - B: Pretty ok Margarita - C+: Pretty ok Vibe: - Staff is VERY friendly. - Abundance of LGBTQ Flags and decor (this might be a LGBTQ bar?) - Lively, and good for a group. What can be better?: Pretty much everything needs polish. But again, this is just a mid approachable americanized "Mexican" restaurant, and I feel thats what the majority of folks are looking for.

My friends and I tried this place because it was one of the restaurants participating in Plate of Nations. We came in and the restaurant was pretty empty - which was a bummer because the food was delicious and the space inside was so pretty and bright. We shared the chicken nachos and an array of tacos, steak and Al pastor. The food was delicious! I got a margarita and that was also tasty. I'd recommend trying this place out and we look forward to coming back again.

Decent Mexican restaurant in Beacon Hill. I never went to their old location so I did not know what to expect. I tried the chicken mole enchiladas and it was pretty good! The vibe inside was fun which I very much enjoyed and the service was good. It's also a prime location being right next to the light rail!

Great food, great prices, great drinks, great people, great location. I've been coming here for many years, bit first time in the new location. It's very light and colorful, lots of cool art and fun music. I came on a Saturday for brunch, got the breakfast burrito $12 and a bloody Mary $13. The burrito was big and delicious. Same with the Bloody Mary. Good for kids and for adults. There's a bar section and a family dining section. Very inviting ambiance. Gotta go, peace out and party on my fellow Yelpians. Be good and always tip your people. Love hugs and good times for all.

Reviewing for: After work snacks Super excited to see the new space they redesigned (with the support of La Union!) and grab some after work snacks on a friday. Location: easy to get to and accessible via light rail- there's street parking as well but it's become more limited with restaurants open so go early to find a spot on the street. Food: My friend and I ordered the fish tacos and the rockfish ceviche. The ceviche was my favorite of the two and would definitely have it again. We weren't drinking but they did have drink specials- $ off wells and beers. Space + Service: Loved that they had two spaces that joined together- there's a bar 21+ and then a restaurant area where the restrooms are located. Although we weren't drinking, we opted for bar to avoid kids. Plenty of seating and can't wait to be back for their drag performances on Fridays! Bathrooms were superb- two gender neutral bathrooms and perfect for bathroom photos. Service was great- bartender was patient as we chose and we hung around well after we finished our food. Overall: This place feels like a community restaurant/locals spot. It was nice to see owners and locals convene for a few shots after work and can't wait to be back! Great job, baja!

Good food. I really liked their mole enchilada. Their place is a little small but nice atmosphere. The drinks were also stiff.

However, during the process, the staff member at the door grabbed my arm hard enough to leave visible bruising. What made this worse is that when I followed up with management, I was told a different version of events that didn't reflect what actually happened. There was no acknowledgment of the physical force used, despite the injury. I tried to handle this privately first and gave the business time to review their security footage, but the response I received was dismissive. I'm sharing this so others are aware. The vibe is dark, loud, and packed--lots of energy, fog machines running nonstop, and music blasting. As someone who isn't much of a bar person, I'll admit it felt a little intimidating at first, but once I settled in, I managed to enjoy the atmosphere. The crowd was lively but not messy, which I appreciated since I've heard nights here can get wild. Drinks are fairly priced for the area--not cheap, but not unreasonable either. What did disappoint me, though, was the service at the bar. The bartenders came off rushed and pretty rude. I get that it was peak weekend hours and the place was slammed, but a little friendliness or a welcoming tone would go a long way. Overall, if you're into the party scene, this is the spot for you: dark, sweaty, and high-energy. If you're not, just know what you're walking into. I had fun, but the service kept it from being a 5-star night.

Sadly, we only got to belt out a few songs before they closed the karaoke, but it was a Sunday, so we totally got it, they close early. There were some singers in here that sounded hella professional, like they literally should be recording artists (or maybe they are in their free time?). The talent, the heavy pour drinks (for the price), and the friends you can make here were so awesome. It's a no-judgement zone too which is key, we were dancing to some of the songs and joined the singers on stage as their backup dancers, ha ha. Such a good time here. FYI, you can order food from CapHill Kitchens next door, they have a variety of foods and they bring your order to you here. Will 100% be back, loved loved the vibes.

They're super refreshing, light, and flavorful, and the apple slaw on top gives the perfect fresh crunch with a little sweetness that balances everything so well. It's one of those dishes that sounds simple but is surprisingly memorable. This time around, I decided to branch out and order the carne asada plate. The standout for me was honestly the Mexican rice probably some of the best I've ever had at a restaurant. It was flavorful, fluffy, and tasted homemade instead of like an afterthought side dish. The carne asada itself was a little dry this visit, which was the only downside, but overall the plate was still really good. The service both times I've come has been friendly and attentive, and the inside of the restaurant is so cute and cozy.
